This is actually our 2nd time staying here! We love it so much, the views, the hosts, the location, it's all wonderful. Jaclyn and Warren are super responsive hosts and we were able to arrange a late check out with them which was great! Thank you so much guys I am sure we will be back again soon.

We absolutely loved our stay and genuinely enjoyed every moment! This place is a perfect gateway to experience New Zealand’s breathtaking nature. The cozy wood stove kept us warm during the evenings, though it did get chilly by morning—something to keep in mind if you prefer warmer nights. Despite the cold, our overall experience was incredible. Warren’s outdoor baths were amazing, and the sunrise views were unforgettable. Even with the limited electricity (just in the bathrooms), everything worked out perfectly. Warren was extremely accommodating, even allowing us to do our laundry, which was great! Only 10 minutes away from Doubtful Sound, we highly recommend this spot. Despite the chilly nights, it’s definitely a 5-star experience—we’d stay again in a heartbeat!

This was my second time staying with Jaclyn and Warren, it’s so peaceful and simplistic-absolutely love it!

A little expensive (we actually thought the price was NZ but realized later in was USD, so we paid more than we thought). A few minor things (considering the price) was that there were no napkins (cloth or paper), could have used a small table on the lanai, no microwave and not french press. However, the fridge was well stocked with breakfast items, nice wines, lots of fruit. everything was really clean. Host also allowed us a later check out.

Rustic, but that worked for me. Wood stove was great on chilly evenings and mornings The hot tub under the stars was stellar (pun intended). I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it . Manapouri doesn’t have much to offer but Te Anua is 20 min. away if you need something. Warren and Jaclyn are genuine and great folks. If you get tired of the crowds and sardine camping at the campgrounds this place is a great alternative. I highly recommend it.

The views are phenomenal, the property is an attraction in and of itself. Some of the best views we have ever seen. We were floored when we arrived at the property; the pictures do not do this place enough justice. You are essentially on top of a private mountain with full 360 views of the mountain ranges, valleys, fjords, rivers etc. We love interacting with the sheep and learning more about the farm. Our hosts were so nice and welcoming. There were so many amenities provided at the property. In the evening you can see the entire Milky Way, and take an outdoor bath with views of the sunrise over the mountains. If you want a secluded piece of paradise this is the place. We cannot wait to come back.

Very pleasant accommodation with stunning views and beautiful surroundings in the heart of the countryside, overlooking the lake and mountains. The place has a charming rustic style but remains very comfortable. The shared toilets are spacious and clean. Jaclyne is very responsive and helpful. The highlight of our stay was the outdoor bath at sunset—an amazing experience with a breathtaking view. A truly special and relaxing moment. I highly recommend it!

We had a ball. Kerri was great with instructions and was on hand immediately to help. We didn’t meet her legend husband he was over at the pub… lad! We heard them singing in the pub and wanted to join but it was so dark we were wondering if we would be okay getting there. We woke up early for sunrise and it was so refreshing to go out and see the beauty surrounding the cabin shack lodge. We would return and we recommend and next time we’ll check out the holy pub.

Amanda‘s place is extremely lovely. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Very central Location and cozy Apartment. We had lovely afternoon sun on the porch and I imagine the place will only get more amazing once the outdoor area has been finished.
