We had a relaxing stay at Doug and Sharyn’s beautiful lakefront house. The spacious house boasted large windows offering stunning views of Lake Te Anau and the surrounding mountains. Doug and Sharyn were fantastic and caring hosts, providing us with all the groceries, snacks, and amenities we needed, making us feel very welcome.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het gezellige huisje! We zaten ‘s avonds op de prachtige patio te genieten van de sunset en het mooie uitzicht. Super! We voelden ons onmiddellijk thuis, heerlijk! Ideaal rustig gelegen voor Doubtful sound en uitstap naar Milford sound op korte afstand van Te Anau.

Retro is the word - cute and quirky, lots of NZ icons. Plenty of games and books, amazing view from back of house to lake.

Sarah’s place was beautiful. Large enough for my whole family of 4, and a few minutes walk from the lake. Only 3-4 mins drive to the main town area with plenty of food options and a supermarket. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings and would come back to stay again.

This home was our favorite during our 3-week vacation in New Zealand. The home was spectacular in design, decor and comfort. The home was generously supplied with everything you could need. The view of the golf course, TeAnau Lake, horse & sheep pastures were peaceful and relaxing. The access to the trail for hiking and biking was so convenient. We happened to meet the owners and they were absolutely delightful and so thoughtful and generous! We weren’t ready to leave — and would definitely stay here again!

It was a pleasure to stay. We where 2 couples looking for a peaceful few days. The house was lovely, well taken care of . Loved the surprises in the Freezer ! Had an excellent range of food essentials . Great views and easy walk to the town Would love to stay again!!

Linda’s place was immaculate, peaceful, and beautiful inside and outside. We loved using Manapouri as a base for our Kepler Track and Milford hikes. We also loved being able to walk to the lake, Church bar, and Doubtful Sound cruise. It’s close to Te Anu but feels closer to nature. You can’t ask for a prettier view or more helpful host. Perfect stay!

Perfect place to stay for a quiet get away. And the surroundings are lovely.

Great place for a stop over. Tidy, has everything you need. Only annoying this is the communal washing where other people can take hours doing washing. Otherwise a fantastic place to stop over. Thank you
