Spent the weekend celebrating a birthday with family, had a wonderful stay. Quiet and private with incredible views. Close to the beach which was easy to walk to, but up hill on the return. Would recommend a car if you wish to visit vineyards or town, or arrange for driver service. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

We had an amazing time over the new years period. The house is perfect for families and so close to the beach. Highly recommend.

Monica is a warm and gracious host and we loved having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home. It is an impressive Americal style country house, showcasing fascinating treasures. The living area is warm and welcoming, with large windows providing beautiful country panoramas. All rooms have interesting nooks to relax in and the attractive, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms are wonderfully functional.

We almost don’t want to give away too much because we loved our stay so much and don’t want to see it booked out so we can make sure we can come back!!What absolutely sensational spot this is, right from the start when we walked into the lovely ambience of jazz music we were greeted with spectacular views all round the house. The space was so groovy and cosy and we felt right at home, Karl was fantastic in being responsive whenever we had any issues. We loved all the different places to sit and take in the views and each one was so comfortable!! We had gorgeous warm and private swims in the water by the house in the evenings and felt like we were in a tropical landscape when we sat down to dinner at the outdoor table watching the sunset. Karl left some beer and wine which we enjoyed in the spa at golden hour listening to what looked like a set up playlist with great songs on the usb connected to the stereo! Honestley could not have loved this place more, we will be back!!

Great place to go and celebrate my birthday with my girls. the layout, space and configuration suited us well. we spent most of our time in the spa which was clean and had easy access in and out. there was no salt and pepper or oil on the property so we had to go buy it although it was written as being provided. Not a biggie but would have been handy. The host was quite easy to communicate with and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Amazing property which was even better than it looked in the photos. Very well equipped with everything you need and communication with Emma was quick and easy. Pool, spa and outdoor fireplace were a big hit!

We are so lucky to have found Roxanne's place to stay in. We had been displaced by the Cyclone Gabrielle, and Roxanne was incredibly responsive to our situation and was able to accommodate our early check-in request, as well as accommodate our additional requests to book more days due to the weather throughout the week. The house was perfect for my us (2 people), quiet, relaxing and a well stocked kitchen. Roxanne was very helpful at telling us about local walks and beaches to visit, etc. I hope we will be back someday. Thanks again Roxanne, for making our stay easy and peaceful, in spite of the weather and displacement anxiety!

This was a great apartment to stay in, super easy to get in (very detailed instructions), handy to the Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct. Great views, nice and spacious - fantastic for a group.

My weeks long stay with Lynne was absolutely perfect and exactly what I needed. The views were beyond stunning and so peaceful I rarely left the apartment. The bedroom and bath with the ocean views were incredible and so tranquil. Lynne took fantastic care of me throughout the week and she and her sweet pup Lexi were a total delight. I didn’t want to leave.

Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

The apartment itself is cozy and ideal for a short city break. One room has a private bathroom, while the other uses a bathroom just outside the room. The space can feel a bit cramped, especially if you have large suitcases or are sharing with someone (friend, partner), but it’s manageable for a brief stay. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals or breakfast, which is a nice touch. Pablo, the host, was very accommodating—he allowed me early check-in and late check-out, which made my stay even more convenient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Auckland for a short stay. It’s great value, well-located, and Pablo is a wonderful host!

Fantastic location, right on a lovely beach with great restaurants close by. The Airbnb itself was great for our family, with two full bathrooms.

An absolute pleasure! Our stay in this apartment in the heart of Auckland impressed us from start to finish and was wonderful. The chic and bright decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, and it's equipped with everything you could possibly need. Working remotely was a breeze with the comfortable setup, and the central location made attending meetings a breeze. The cherry on top? The heated rooftop pool, offering a serene escape with stunning views. Count me in for a return visit .

The place is amazing, very large living area with many very clean and decently spaced rooms. I wasn’t aware of the 5-10 minute gravel road the house is on. Daniel was amazing at communicating when I need to get in touch with him however the packing up procedure could have been outlined better, but other than that the four informative emails sent outlined everything needed for our stay. The view is just as amazing in person as the photos both sunrise and sunset, especially lounging in the spa.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

We have had the most amazing time staying at the villa, it was even better than the photos. The house was absolutely beautiful, huge and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen, the kitchen had lovely tableware, an amazing coffee machine and everything we needed and the pool was just the best fun! Channy was extremely responsive to messages and made out check in and check out very easy. Thank you so much Channy we will definitely love to stay here again!

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

We had a wonderful stay, were met by Heather who welcomed us into their home. Their home is beautiful, it has everything you need and is stylish, beautifully furnished and in a super location. We were sad to leave.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing house with incredible views. Lots of space for extended families and walking distance to Orewa beach. Will definitely try and stay again.
