Great space with everything we needed, would be fine for a long stay. Lovely to wake up to the sound of piwakawaka outside the window, i don’t think I’ve ever seen 5 in the same place!

A lovely place to stay with horses and fruit trees about although set very close to the New World (across the road) and town just a quick drive down the road. House was very clean and felt very cosy would recommend if staying in Opotiki.

What a beautiful spot! Just across the road from the beach, super quiet street, great for kids. Great living space, we had a bit of rain, so card games were the go for a while, easily accommodated the 6 of us. Basic amenities, bring your own toilet paper.. stop at the 4 square in Te Araroa first ;) .. but fab shower, and super comfy beds! Great burgers at 35 Eat St, at the TA holiday park, and the best pies at East Cape Manuka Cafe... or catch ur own dinner at the old wharf at Hicks Bay. So many places to explore, kids were obsessed with the epic crabs in the rock pools, and all the super friendly neighborhood dogs. Kelsi was a great host, and very responsive when I had random questions ;)

If you’re craving quiet, peaceful solitude in a breathtakingly beautiful place, this is it. The house was comfortable, our host very welcoming and the hiking opportunities almost limitless. I find it hard to describe but absolutely loved our time in the high country.

It felt like I was in my own room such a nice getaway fell absolutely in love with the place can’t wait to go back

Nous avons vécu à 4 durant deux mois et demi dans le logement qui a largement répondu à nos attentes. Il y a tout le matériel nécessaire, et André est très réactif et très accueillant. Nous avons travaillé dans les kiwis à Opotiki, et ce logement nous a largement satisfait. Petit plus pour l'emplacement, certes un peu eloigné de la ville mais qui est extrêmement calme et apaisant, dans une superbe vallée avec la rivière qui passe juste à côté. Nous recommandons

We loved everything about the cottage and had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tracey has thought of everything and we appreciated all the little touches. The facilities are of a very high standard with an incredible bathroom and very well-stocked kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the location so close to the beach and loved being able to swim with nobody around and join the Motu trail for walks. We will definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending the cottage.

The cabin had everything one would need, great bbq, and plenty of wifi and tv was a bonus. Easy walk to the river for fishing, and plenty of other spots to fish from by car. The trees and bush land around the river was beautiful, and each day we had a flock of sheep that came up to the cabin fence line. A lovely relaxing spot to get away from it all. Plus Mary's yeast buns were delicious!
