We had the best stay, the house is so well equipped, the host has thought of everything. Highlights were the beautiful main bathroom and the heated pool. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean. It was a quick drive to the main roads to Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, and Wellington City. Louise communicated everything clearly and we loved the information folder about the house.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Absolutely stunning house and outdoor area. Still can’t get over how beautiful the view is. The house had all the amenities needed with a well equipped kitchen, extremely clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was the most perfect girls weekend get away, looking forward to returning in the future.

Our stay at the Cattlestop was amazing for our group of 6. Very spacious accommodation, in a private setting, yet it was a short drive close to town. We made good use of the hot tub and pool as well- which was definitely a highlight. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large group- if you are bringing a lot of food to cook we suggest bringing a chilly bin just in case. We enjoyed a great BBQ and the host was immediately responsive as we’d run out of propane. Highly recommend this property!!

Great house in a beautiful location. Excellent amenities, beautiful design, perfect for travelling with pups. A few notes: - The # of steps up to the unit might be underestimated by a factor of ~5. Not recommended unless you're reasonably fit. - The bedroom doors don't latch. There are hook-style locks provided....on the outside of the door. Not a huge deal, just means you need to shove something under the door if you want to keep the dogs from nosing their way in. - The water from the tap gets _really_ hot. This is great for some things (shaving) and less great for others (shower, dishwashing) Overall an excellent spot!

This was a comfortable flat with good access to Brooklyn and Te Aro.

Siammone’s property was in a great location to walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The road is not busy and there is plenty of parking. The house is clean, tidy and homelike with everything you need. The fire was wonderful and made it cozy when cooler. Siammone is a perfect host - very helpful in all ways including supplying anything we needed, providing flexibility and extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you ! I highly recommend this wonderful place and it suited our family with small children.

We spent a wonderful week exploring Wellington with Gary and Kris' place as our base. The Otari-Wilton bush is right next to the house, and we spent hours hiking the area. Very easy to catch a bus into Wellington too. Locally, we really enjoyed the Kelburn Village Pub - great meals and service. The house is fantastic and like other reviews have said, the photos don't do it justice! Really liked the many bird visitors to the garden.

Amazing hosts really responsive to needs as they live next door. House was perfect for our group. Facilities were exactly what we needed. The house was really clean and well equipped with lots of extras that made the stay. Easy to heat when cold as lots of heaters. Rooms were really spacious. Would definitely come back and easy recommendation for everyone. There was a note that we missed in the booking information about not drinking inside (which didn’t impact us as we were competing in an event but may impact others in winter, in summer there was a beautiful back deck which would be perfect for a drink).

We really enjoyed having space to relax between our activities. It was perfect for my one year old who enjoyed crawling round the house. Thank you again and I’m sure we will be back.

lovely light & bright house. a little road noise but felt quite secluded and a great location close to coffee and walks.

Gorgeous apartment. Parking was a little difficult to find, but the views were well worth it. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely, as well as the cable car. Would rent again.
