My mother and I needed a quiet place to rest and recharge; this home overlooking the garden and sea was truly extraordinary. The apartment, with its bay windows, is perfect—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We spent our days marvelling at the lush garden, chatting in the spa or gazing out at the open sea—watching surfers and letting the rhythmic crash of the waves lull us into deep relaxation. I can't stress enough how magical the garden is—every corner is bursting with life, from vibrant flowers to fruit trees, herbs, and vegetables. We cooked with the windows wide open, letting in the fresh air and ocean breeze, and dining outside, immersed in the scents and sounds of nature. Julls and the team were fantastic—warm, welcoming, and attentive. Just a few minutes from world-class surf and fifteen minutes from Raglan, this home is a true oasis, radiating love and care.

Great place to stay. Close to bus stops and easy to get around without a car. Awesome hosts, even getting the place ready for earlier than expected check in. Highly recommended.

We just had a one night stay (x 2 couples) and was perfect for what we needed. Great location, especially loved Little Dove Cafe just up the road. Would recommend for your stay in Nelson.

Loved the apartment! It looks exactly as the pictures. It is very comfortable, has looks of space and is beautifully decorated. I also loved having 2 balconies and the washing/drying machine was an added bonus and very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and I really appreciated the different types of pillows. It was also very quiet, so I was always able to get a good nights sleep. The apartment is in a great location, close to everything. I also felt very safe in the apartment. In the evenings you can only access the building with your key fob. You also need it to get access to the elevator. So this made me feel very safe, especially while traveling alone. I had great communication with Hannah. She always replied fast and I also really loved the video she sent a few days before check-in showing how to access the apartment and different details of the apartment. That is a great idea! Will definitely recommend this apartment to others. Loved it!

April's place was a great place to stay for our visit to Nelson. The city center was just a short drive away and there were plenty of shops and restaurants there to choose from. It was about a 1 hour drive to Able Tasman NP. The property was clean and comfortable, especially the beds, and the kitchen was well equipped. We did not cook any meals there but there seemed to be enough equipment to do so if you wanted to. The laundry facilities were very good and we made use of them. We didn't get to meet April as she was away while we were staying, but she was excellent at communicating and checking that everything was ok. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we were in the area.

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

Great stay, Wendy is a great host, very proactive with communication and very accommodating, she made it aware she would be available to help with anything if needed, very smooth check in process, clean and tidy quaint place with nice decor and good ammenities. We checked in after spending 4 days canoeing the whanganui river so all we wanted was to check in somewhere and have a nice hot shower and a comfy bed to stay in before travelling home and that’s exactly what we got! Wifi and TV work efficiently and perfectly, it had everything we needed, Would reccomend this place definitely ☺️

Great location! Lots of restaurants, shops, department stores, etc. In walking distance. Great public transportation. Lots to see nearby. Great host! Lack of central ventilation could be problem if you like coocking. A/C would be nice.

it was great, we totally enjoyed our stay. very centrally located to many options such as shopping, dining, walking etc. She has a lovely garden growing, so peaceful for us ❤️ not fond of the twin beds as a couple but we managed. Sandra is super host, we really enjoyed our time with her and our conversations.

Lovely place nestled in the hills of Russell. Little drive into the main town but nice relaxed area. Place was spacious. There are a few other rooms but not really an issue. Views are great.

We loved our stay here, views are incredible over the cook straight, ferries and planes coming and going all the time, very steep driveway but room at the top to turn around, felt modern, clean and cosy. We would definitely stay again.

Kerri had been very easy to communicate with, she responds fast and has been very supportive and friendly from the get go. The location of this place is perfect for visitors who prefer to discover Auckland on foot, ferry, public transportation. The unit is spacious enough for 2 people and it was truly immaculate with an easy and well described check-in and check out process. The appliances are very sophisticated and easy to use. Kerri put a lot of attention to detail in furnishing this place. Her information on local restaurants and sightseeing were very accurate as we tested some. There are lots of interesting places within a 15 minute walking radius.

Kay’s place was lovely and she was very responsive throughout the whole stay. Highly recommend!

We had a terrific stay at Shelley's apartment. We appreciated being a little out of town in a quiet area with great views. Th location is still within easy reach by car from anything that you would want to do around Rotorua but with more privacy and calm than a city accomodation. The apartment is great - all the furnishings and facilities are high quality. The two bedrooms are not large but roomy enough for two and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is a well appointed kitchen area - we had most of our meals in the apartment. Just like eating at home. Shelly is a great host - very friendly and responsive with communications. A very helpful person.

We had a wonderful stay at Brent and Annette's beautiful apartment. The views are spectacular and the apartment has everything you could want or need for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. It's a short easy walk along the coastal path to the main part of Kaiterteri where the coffee shop, restaurant and small supermarket are. We went into the Abel Tasman park from Marahau, a short drive from Kaiteriteri. Would highly recommend hiring a car if you're flying into Nelson and staying in Kaiteriteri as a base for exploring the park. If you are not going into the park, you can join a kayaking trip from Kaiterteri or just have a beach holiday on the pristine sand and clear clear water of the bay at the end of Brent and Annette's road. Brent and Annette are great communicators, very responsive and super friendly. We had the best holiday and hope to be back before too long. Thank you so much.
