This was our favourite place to stay out of our one week in the north island! We didn't want to leave. From the peaceful running creek, the ducks in the stream, the bumblebees and the beautiful garden and most especially our cozy dome tent to the delicious brekkie provided, we felt so at peace. Thank you for having us Donna. Was truly the BEST!

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Pukehina! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home in Pukehina — truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The house is clean, cozy, and perfectly situated right by the beach. Waking up to those stunning sunrises every morning was a dream — peaceful, vibrant, and unforgettable. One of the sweetest surprises was Max, the friendly outdoor cat who would stop by for a visit now and then. He added a little extra charm to our stay and made us feel right at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Everything about this place made it hard to say goodbye, and we’d love to come back again soon. Only thing we would have done differently is allowed more time to relax and enjoy the home rather than doing so many activities. The house is that amazing. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic retreat by the sea!

Staying in this unique treehouse was an unforgettable experience! The stunning views and surrounding pine forest made it feel like a hidden retreat—such a rare and special setting in New Zealand. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and flexible, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the sauna, the bathtub, and the peaceful little walk through the forest. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind, creating a truly relaxing and eco-friendly getaway. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful accommodation in a lovely location surrounded by grass & trees. We had been traveling for a couple of weeks so this was a fantastic place to be still & relax for a couple of evenings. The comfortable covered deck doubles the living space. It also had one of the best-equipped kitchens I've had at an Airbnb, which allowed us to stay in for a couple of evenings. It is located about 5km outside of town so you just need to be aware of that, but it is really easy to get into town center. Lucy was responsive & provided perfect directions.

The nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The cottage was absolutely lovely and the surrounding view was just stunning - made all the more enjoyable with the huge windows! The hosts have really thought of everything with so many extra nice touches around the cottage. Would whole heartedly recommend!
