I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. Would highly recommend

beautiful, lovely view, clean and perfect in everyway! beach, nighttime entertainment, shop, restaurants, swimming, golf, climbing wall, arcade, splash pads, park, spoilt for choice!

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. A lovely chalet which served our purpose perfectly. A little out of town so had to drive and park(not a problem in February!). Chalet warmed up really quickly once we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped but it took us a while to get the hang of the microwave! Comfortable beds and all very clean.

We had a great mini-break and thoroughly enjoyed the location and accommodation which was clean, cosy and comfortable. It was lovely to be able to have breakfast on the porch in the sunshine. The place was also perfectly situated for our various day trips. Georgi & Pete were very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Highly recommended. Martin & Jo

As a family with 2 young children and a dog, we wanted something for everyone. During the day we went for walks in the surrounding fields, we had BBQs and enjoyed the Hot Tub while gazing at the stars at night. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Thanks Gill, we'll definitely be back again!

We had a great stay at David’s place, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a fantastic night at the Shippon. We loved the style of the property and felt very relaxed whilst there. We got some nice food from Bens farm shop which is just 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed a couple of nice circular walks from the village along lanes and bridleways. The plant nursery up the road is worth a visit if you enjoy gardening/plants.

This place was a perfect base to explore beautiful South Devon and Dartmoor, set in a lovely little warren of houses (old miners cottages I believe) with a babbling brook and surrounded by forests - very peaceful. Ros & Peter were very friendly, relaxed, and helpful with suggestions for where to explore. The studio was comfy & modern, perfect place to chill out after a long day hiking - and the bed was incredible (haven’t slept that well in years!) lovely place, strongly recommend!

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

The place was fab - completely as described and communication was great. Denise was very understanding and accommodating when plans had to change. Would defo recommend. Thank you!

Clare and Luca have created a unique space to unwind in nature. It’s private with plenty of space to enjoy inside and out. It was a special treat having a wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven and all the little details made everything extra enjoyable.

Once again a lovely stay at Patricks' place, we only wish it was available every time we head to Totnes !

The cabin is private without feeling isolated. It is well equipped for a peaceful stay. Jonathan and partner were helpful and welcoming. The back entrance avoids the steps to the cabin - really important as I have restricted mobility. Totnes is amazing - recommend a visit to the cafe style cinema as well as the wonderful and endless walks along the river.

Recently stayed here with my girlfriend for our anniversary, Sally went above and beyond by adding those extra special touches with balloons, banners & a bottle of Prosecco. Hot tub was on and ready for us to use when we arrived, we even had some chocolate muffins as a little treat waiting for us. Beautiful homely touches that made it feel like home from home. Peaceful & clean! We visited nearby pub for food called the Jack Russell the food & staff were absolutely fantastic! We would definitely recommend staying with sally to our friends and family. We can’t wait to return later in the year with the kids!

I took my partner to the shepherd's hut as a birthday present, and it was exactly what we needed. Communication between us and the host was fantastic, it was dark when we arrived but Gail and Michael were great at helping us out and showing us to the hut. The hut has everything you need and more, we were there during a storm but it's really well-insulated, we could barely hear the rain and were very warm. There's an electric fire, toaster, microwave, kettle, etc. so making yourself a drink or food is no problem. The hot tub was amazing, nothing like looking out at the trees and the sky whilst being warm and surrounded by bubbles! Robes and large towels are provided for after you've used the hot tub. The grounds were accessible and well kept, and there's a small "tuck shop" cupboard at the entrance where you can proceed to purchase snacks. We also took the opportunity to explore nearby Ashburton which is a lovely town with a great atmosphere. Really recommended!

Great place to stay, everything you need for a breakaway. Tucked away in the garden and felt very private. Hot tub is a great added touch for chilling out. Gill communicated well and made sure we had all we needed. A lovely touch with a cream tea and Prosecco on arrival. Teignmouth is a lovely place and had some great walks. Will definitely return

Absolutely stunning place perfect for a getaway. Absolutely loved our stay beautiful, fun modern private close to the beach will definitely be staying again soon and the hosts were absolutely amazing.

Really nice place to stay, beautiful location and views, especially during sunset! Had everything we needed available, and it was lovely and clean and tidy. The only issue we had was flooding the bathroom when showering! But could have been user error! Would definitely stay again!

The Orangery was perfect for our short retreat in Devon. The location is peaceful and the accommodation was cosy, plus hosts are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. And please keep this place forever 💗 P.s - would recommend Culm Valley Inn for food (about 8 minutes from venue)

Perfect stay for us and our dog for a long weekend. We benefited from the hot tub, board games and fire pit whilst our dog loved the enclosed garden and 160 acres to explore. The hosts were excellent, helpful and so welcoming. We would love to make this an annual trip.

A lovely little hideaway! Just perfect for some midweek rest and relaxation around my work responsibilities. The WiFi was lovely and quick so I could continue to work from home as and when I wanted. At the end of the day it was straight to the hot-tub to admire the night sky. Steve was available via text throughout my stay and was very kind and helpful. As a neurodivergent person, I especially loved the many lighting options! I could create a cosy atmosphere at all times with lots of options for muted and indirect lighting when needed. A thoughtfully designed space, maintained with care.
