Wow what an amazing stay we had! Firstly the place was clean, had a great view and all we needed. My daughter very much loved playing with the toys they had. Our farm tour was incredible , we absolutely loved it as did our toddler, Tony was great with her. Feeding the animals and learning all things farm and NZ agriculture. I would give it more stars if I could. Such beautiful memories were made that we will cherish forever.

The tiny house farm stay was a unique place. Cosy and quirky. Bianca and Andrew have done a fantastically creative job in converting the woolshed too. Bianca and Andrew were both so helpful and personable. A really neat spot which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Everything about our stay was just wonderful! The house is within easy walking distance to town. It was lovely to use the hot tub after a day of biking or hiking.

Ian and Tia were very loving hosts and attentive to whatever we needed. The cottage is fully equipped to spend a few relaxing days there.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Brown House in Lake Ohau. We had stayed at the original house before the fires of 2020 that devastated the entire community. And all I can say is Wow! This rebuild is even bigger and more beautiful. This location is perfect for exploring the lake rivers and surrounding area and can’t wait to return in winter for a skiing holiday. Janet was incredibly responsive and helpful, making our trip stress free and smooth. We especially appreciated the amazing original art works complimenting the spectacular views outside. We would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway all the way to hosting a special family occasion!

The place is very nice and quiet and very big. We had very good sleep, the beds are comfy. Minor thing - there are many insects flying into the house, you should watch out to close everything all the time.

Beautiful decor, extremely comfy beds with upscale linens, and a surprising welcome basket. It was just my daughter and myself, but the house would be perfect for a fun family getaway. I had a video conference for work while there, and the internet was great. Easy drive to many nearby places, including a beach where we made a new friend and rescued a penguin. Plenty of parking, an easy drive from Christchurch or Lake Tekapo, and a residence and farm with a fantastic New Zealand history. Highly recommend. I also should note that we booked for one night - arrived - had a look around, and immediately booked a second night. We changed our travel plans to stay here longer - it's that nice. DId I mention how happy my daughter was when she found out there were SHEEP. Annie's place will always be on our top fave places list!

We absolutely loved staying at Jan’s place. Such a great location, with so many places nearby to visit. One day we visited Oamaru and the next Mt Cook. The geological sites near Kurow-Duntroon were amazing. The lakes are gorgeous, I only wish I brought my bike with me. Our dog also loved Jan’s place as she was safe and secure in the fully fenced gorgeous garden.

This place is at a good location to discover Tekapo. Very spacious and worth the money.

Un chalet authentique qui vous permettra de profiter d’un environnement calme et paisible en pleine forêt. De plus, nous avons pu déguster une délicieuse pizza au feu de bois et profiter d’un feu de camps bien chaleureux après une journée à découvrir les lacs aux alentours ainsi que le Mont Cook !

We had a great stay, very clean and cosy. Super close to beach, park and shops/restaurants. Would recommend.

The room is spotlessly clean and includes extra space that can be used as a living room. It has everything you need, and the host was exceptionally helpful and caring. Highly recommended!

Prue was very nice and helpful! Very accommodating. We really enjoyed meeting her.

We had a fantastic stay here for a couple of nights. The setting was beautiful and Michele was kind enough to let us explore the stunning garden and enjoy some of her home grown veg. The welcome couldnt have been warmer. The accommodation was clean and cosy and was perfect for us and our two small children. A perfect alternative to staying in Tekapo. We would loved to have stayed longer. Would strongly recommend this place to others.

As a university professor on sabbatical, the month I spent at Drew and Sally’s was exactly what I needed. A beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to write and the perfect place to be refreshed too. I wish I could give it 10 stars. More than anything else, my parents and I appreciated their kindness and warm hospitality. We were welcomed as though we were dear friends and were given many fresh eggs, produce from the garden, tales of adventure (Sally climbed Denali and Drew mountaineered and protected people in Antarctica), and walks with Koa, the friendliest and sweetest dog ever. I loved seeing the stars and Milky Way at night, the cute town of Geraldine with the Talbot Forest Walk, the biking/walking trail right by Drew and Sally’s house, the nearby Peel Forest and beach at Timaru, and great day trips to Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook, and where LOTR filmed Edoras. I only stayed a month but I feel homesick and hope to return someday. We’ll stay in touch, Drew and Sally! Love from Laurie

Loved staying at Meg’s place! It was a peaceful getaway. Loved seeing the horses and foals. Also enjoyed the very friendly dog and cat. The cat gets chatty when they see you and greets you when walking out to your car or coming back to the property. Facilities were great! Highly recommend and would stay again.

Easy to find, nice quiet location with good privacy and easy access to central Timaru only 5 minutes away. It was exactly as described, nice to have breakfast cereal options provided and loads of coffee and teas to choose from.
