Great place. Central location. under the pub but it shut by 10pm. awesome patio and views. Great host, very proactive and helpful. would go again

This place is perfect for a chilled and peaceful trip away. We had a lovely time and absolutely loved the place. Got so much for our money and would definitely be looking to go again in the future. John is very helpful and relaxed, making us feel welcomed and gave us good local recommendations.

Really lovely cosy cottage in a stunning location. The cottage had everything required and comfy beds etc. Shane was a great host - he was friendly, thoughtful and responsive. I arrived before the rest of my family and he helped me unpack my car which was much appreciated- the extra mile. Also, when we found the cafetiere was broken he h replaced it within a couple of hours! Thanks so much Shane. Just one thing worth noting - the cottage is listed as dog friendly which it really is in many respects - Shane welcomed the dogs, there were dog bowls etc and a lovely garden. However, the location is so rural and peaceful (which is of course a positive) that there are many animals around in the garden and nearby (grouse, pheasants, ducks etc) so we couldn’t let our dogs out in the garden off the lead ( we have a spaniel cross so it would have been too tempting for her!). Just worth knowing if you intend to take dogs.

Caroline was very helpful and friendly from the outset. We hired Caroline’s place for a surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday and Caroline let us check in slightly early to decorate which allowed us to create a perfect surprise - we were really grateful. Caroline was communicative throughout and helped with recommending a lovely local restaurant (The Red House) - we had an amazing meal. Caroline also recommended a taxi company who were excellent. The granary itself was a beautiful big space and very well equipped. The kitchen area is stunning with a gorgeous terrace overlooking fields and horses. I would love to come back in the summer to make the most of this! The Granary is so comfortable and cosy with plenty of space! The bedrooms are beautiful and very luxurious, it was brilliant to have an en suite with each room. Our stay at the Granary was very special in a peaceful setting. Caroline is an excellent host and on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to stay again!

We had a lovely weekend in Ironbridge. The apartment is the heart of the town right next to a fab micro pub, Sarah’s shop/deli and the delicious Elephant Mexican restaurant. Despite the soggy weather we had a lovely time.

We had a lovely stay at Rachel’s place. It was really cosy, clean and a great location within walking distance to Ironbridge.The cottage had everything we needed, very comfy, would really recommend

Penny Black Cottage was perfect for us. We were 4 adults and ten month old twins and there was ample space. It was spotlessly clean and there was everything we needed in the beautiful kitchen. Great window in the kitchen too, our boys enjoyed eating their breakfast watching the world go by. On our last morning the window cleaner came and the boys absolutely loved watching him, he was so lovely with them. I’d highly recommend Penny Black Cottage. Comfy beds, easy to park, great communication from Yvonne, and a great location so close to Ironbridge.

Perfect place for busy couples wanting to get away and switch off from the outside world. We loved having no WiFi or electric plugs as it allowed us to enjoy each others company without interruptions from the outside world. Location is absolutely stunning and a big positive is just how private it is. Only interactions we had were seeing lots of horses and enjoying the sound of donkeys. We received recommendations for local pubs/restaurants, we went to the Cock Inn and the food was amazing. Host gave very clear instructions which made it easy to find the location. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

One point is that because of railings outside the house don't do what I did , I parked and realised I couldn't get out so either park on the opposite verge or drop off then drive a few yards down the road and turn around to then park up but get out on the road 😂😂we had a lovely quiet stay ,10 minutes drive from Ironbridge and blist hills museums.... Comfortable beds, I am on a large size so found the downstairs toilet a manoeuvre but simply used upstairs bathroom . It worked out perfectly well for our small party of 4, excellent value for money . The pub where we had planned to eat our evening meal ,across the road (Forrester's arms) was fully booked with parties , so book ahead is my recommendation if that's your plan.
