Beautiful cottage 20min from downtown north bay, quiet street, well furnished, very responsive owners ( had a small issue with hot tub in next few hours host came over resolved issues. Highly recommend

This place is truly exceptional! The host has clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, ensuring a unique experience for guests. From the hot tub to the fire pit, everything is well-designed and inviting. I highly recommend this spot!

Easy key pick up through lock box. Place as advertised. Clean and peaceful. Right on the lake. Beautiful views all around. Cottage has plenty of space for large group. Four of us stayed and we would definitely come back again.

We had an incredible stay! The views were stunning, and the cabin itself was warm, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed—and more. The hosts went above and beyond, not only keeping the property well-maintained by clearing the snow but also being flexible with scheduling. They were extremely helpful in guiding us to the best fishing spots, even with the snowstorm making the fishing slow. Made our experience even better. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival, offering a peaceful and relaxing way to unwind while looking out over the lake. This is a place we’ll look back on with great memories, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again!

This was our second stay at The Canoe and it was fantastic, yet again. Always welcomed with fresh baked bread and treated to fresh eggs during our stay. The cabin is perfect for my family of four. It is super clean and well stocked. Looking forward to going back next year. ☺️

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Galyna’s cottage was as described. Everything worked well. The boat ramp on site was very convenient. Great location on the river. Pool table, air hockey, and ping pong table add fun activities. Great spacious cottage for a family getaway. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful place on Sausage Lake! The cottage and bunkie are very comfortable. Alot to do like fishing, kayaking, swimming, and the sauna was great! Our family had a wonderful time, and we are looking forward to next year and hopefully many more years to come! We made some beautiful memories. The hosts are great!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage with our family and friends. The interior of this cottage is absolutely stunning. Beautiful kitchen, lovely dining room and breathtaking Lakeview from massive windows from the live room. This place is located in a quiet and beautiful area with lots to do inside and out. A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

Steph was so helpful and you could tell she is an experienced host! It was a safe and spacious cottage for our two girls to play in. Such a beautiful spot and we hope to see it again in the summer months in the future.

Great cabin, lots of space for a family of four. Super clean. Everything we needed during our stay was there, although you do need to bring pillows & blankets for the beds at the moment. Lake is beautiful and very quiet. Great fishing & swimming, and kayaks/canoes/paddle boat there to use. Nathalie and her husband were FANTASTIC, fun to talk to and are working hard all the time to keep things running so smoothly. THANK YOU!!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy and well-equipped cottage. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. The location was peaceful, and the hosts were clear and helpful with instructions. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Dana's off-grid cabin is a hidden gem in my opinion. With so many options in Ontario's cottage country, this cabin checks all the right boxes. The property is HUGE, with panoramic lakefront views from the main house as well as the screened-in dining house (with fireplace/chimney!). The dock is easily accessible (small staircase down), with enough room for multiple watercraft for everyone to enjoy. The cabin itself is very well equipped and very comfortable. I'm sure you, your friends and/or family will really enjoy your stay here. Just remember it is off grid so respecting the house rules will go a long way to ensuring a great stay. This was my second time booking this property and it's on the list again for next year!

Joanna and Sean are amazing hosts, and their property is absolutely beautiful 😍 they have been so helpful during my family's stay. We've been through a house fire and they have made it stress-free for us during this difficult time. their caretakers are also amazing, making sure to clear the driveway and decks right away, and taking the trash and recycling. This place has been a godsend for our family, making sure we have everything we need and more. Couldn't be happier ☺️ Thank you again for everything.

Wow, The Outpost was the perfect backdrop for my extended family to ring in the new year together. It was spacious, private, relaxing and the perfect amount of luxury to feel taken care of amongst the trees. The snow covered multi-use trails were the perfect daytime activity that kept my nephews and older parents entertained, busy, and feeling totally connected to nature. This spot has all the luxuries and comfort creatures - though you feel as though you're fully immersed in nature. Will absolutely be booking this spot again - we need to see it in all seasons!

We had a wonderful stay at Hubby's Cove! We were a group of six adults, two kids, and we had plenty of space to sleep, to relax, and to play. The house is gorgeous and we really enjoyed how private it felt. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The weather was not the greatest while we were there, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. It was wonderful to watch the ice storm while we were all cozy inside! Highly recommend, and hope to return!

Amber and her husband were great hosts! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and they left some great local recommendations( the wagon wheel restaurant was amazing and I would highly recommend), my husband and I went up for a week as our honeymoon and they went the extra mile to make it special for us! At the end of the week we ended up having major vehicle issues leaving us stuck and they were super helpful and understanding, Kyle even came out with a generator and battery charger after multiple caa cancellations. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts or the cabin itself. Would love to be back again!
