Our stay at Ruth’s cottage was perfect. She was always responsive and friendly, and went above and beyond communicating with us when a severe storm came through in the middle of the night. Her place was a perfect location while visiting family in Columbia, while also being a quiet respite for me, my children, & my mother at the end of the day. Our 3 & 1 year old loved looking for the cows and seeing where they were at different times of day. There are plenty of family games and puzzles to do on a rainy day inside, and the screened in porch is a lovely place to spend the evening. Highly recommend Ruth and her cottage!

This location was extremely convenient for my needs. The space was cute albeit somewhat eclectic. I found the space comfortable.

Our family spent part of our spring break here. We were too early in the season to take advantage of their massive gardens but our kids enjoyed every minute of being in the woods, playing in the creek, and visiting the chickens. This place was peaceful and beautiful and fun. We will recommend it to anyone we know. We are thankful to have found this place!!

We loved it here lots of land for the kids to play and be loud and wild like kids should be. Also very peaceful and beautiful country settings we will be back!

Gail was a pleasure to communicate with. The place was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. Horses across from the street was an added experience for my son. Would reccomend to anyone who wants a getaway in TN.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Joy's home. The grounds were so relaxing with the rolling hills and beautiful horses. Joy was a pleasure. She reached out occasionally to see if all was well, but she respected our privacy. The guest house was wonderful. The additional bedroom space upstairs gave us the perfect space to do some office work or have some quiet time reading & relaxing. Great escape.

John and Lori were excellent hosts. Their place was quiet and clean and just a perfect spot to get away. We would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone. It was the perfect location for privacy and conveniently located for going out on the town. Excellent hosts, excellent place. 5 stars from us!

I loved the place , their were precise instructions on how to use everything and it was lots to do with in the cabin . It was very clean and felt like home and and I liked the privacy around the cabin I would definitely book again

We had such a lovely time staying here while we were in town for a wedding! The surroundings are just delightful, and we even spotted some deer during the morning. It's such a tranquil and serene place. We also took long walks along the nearby trails, soaking in the natural beauty that enveloped us. It truly felt like a hidden gem; we even invited some family members over and had a wonderful evening together, perfect for making unforgettable memories.

Steve waited for us when we got there to show us around and how to work the keypad. Jan made muffins that were heavenly (and I’m not even a fan of blueberry muffins so that says a lot). The area was stunning, the hot tub was amazing, we will absolutely be returning!

If you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, while still being in driving distance to a small and large town, this is it! Great setting, cozy and unique home with amenities for a longer stay. Logan County is rife with historical stops and not far from Bowling Green. We enjoyed the fire pit, walking trail, and porch most of all, while our kids loved the swings, chickens and woods. Great value for a great space!

We loved how relaxing and peaceful the farmhouse was—and especially enjoyed the goats and puppy dog! We were close to Chattanooga and exciting activities, but also able to play outside/board games and relax at the house. The best of both worlds!

Let me just say this was just the cutest place!! We just needed an overnight on our way down to my sisters wedding, and I couldn't have picked a better place to unwind. My kids loved Snowflake visiting and loved it just as much as me. Easy to find, directly on my route, and it has everything one would need! I look forward to visiting again. 🙂

Loved the daffodils

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was the perfect way to ring in the New Year as a family. We loved watching the sunrise over the mountains on the front porch rockers. We loved watching the cows graze and meeting Jack the Donkey. The hosts were so friendly and even gave us a tour around the farm. The cabin is beautiful and spotless. Such a perfect spot to relax with family and loved ones. We hope to be back someday!

Kathryn & Russell accommodated our last minute booking with ease. Their farm is lovely and their hard work visible in every direction. The dogs were super sweet and I smiled seeing two big fluffy white dogs guarding the front porch. The goats loved the animal crackers. The soap shop had incredible selections of soaps, lip balm, teas, Amish baskets, culinary herbs and much more. Can’t wait to visit again.

Loved all the amenities. Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Perfect for our hiking trip. We would def come back if we hiked in the area again.

This is the 3rd time staying at the cabin and there is a reason I keep coming back. Stephanie and Michael make you feel right at home. They always go above and beyond and all the little details never go unnoticed. From the welcome sign to the snacks (I ate too many) to allowing you to bottle feeding their baby animals, this place is truly one of a kind. The cabin is perfect, always spotless, the sunsets on the porch are breathtaking and the animals are the sweetest little creatures. Both communicate extremely well and fast. I can’t recommend their slice of Heaven any more. I travel alone and to feel this at ease makes it that more enjoyable. Thank you again to you both and see you next time!

Our long term stay couldn’t have been better. Hope was always available and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to do this again.

Beautiful place! I have 3 boys they had lots to do! They fished, played in the creek(even though it was freezing) had a fire and walked the property! Saw beautiful deer grazing in the front and back yard! The place was very well kept and clean! Had lots of games for extra fun! Everything we wanted to do was within 45 minutes! We will DEFINITELY be back!

We enjoy Grandfather's Farmhouse so much this is our second trip in a year. The location is beautiful, situated in a peaceful, quiet valley just past Lake Chatuge. The house is so very comfortable with all the amenities necessary to make our stay perfect.
