Great accommodations in a great location. Close to Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. Host was responsive and provided help tips for seeing the stars at night. Highly recommend!

Donnie and Lynda are excellent hosts. I’ve stayed at one of their roadhouse rentals before, and had an amazing experience too! They make the check in process very easy with a code you type in at the door. If you have any questions they are always prompt to respond. My cousin and I had such a fantastic experience that we decided to extend our stay another day. Donnie and Lynda accommodated and even brought a rollaway bed so we could each sleep comfortably. Whenever I come back to Big Bend and Terlingua, I will always stay at their roadhouse rentals! Thank you guys so much for exceeding our expectations!

I had a great stay at the Chili Pepper Inn. The room was bigger than I expected with everything I needed. Comfortable bed and lots of kitchen amenities. Very convenient location to Terlingua and Big Bend NP. It was nice having the café next door.

The location was ideal for exploring Big Bend and nearby Terlingua Ghost Town, which had a couple great bars and restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook. Loved having the outdoor space to watch the sky!

Great place to stay in Big Bend. The cabin is beautiful, extremely comfortable and has a great outdoor space to relax after a long day at Big Bend. If you have kids, it’s also a great place for them to relax/play/explore when they’re back. Our son made friends with kids from the other cabins and had a great time while we enjoyed the sunsets.

We had a great time. Home was clean and instructions easy to follow. Make sure to read host notes (sent ahead of time). Visiting Big Bend NP and relaxing on the covered porch after hikes and day of travels. Entrance into Big Bend NP is just minutes away however park is large so expect to drive 30 min or more to any destination inside park. During our visit time we had no issues with lines into park, also parking at the Lost mine trailhead was congested but we had seen open spots after 1pm. If you want to hike this trail either get there real early (like 7am) or in the afternoon after 1pm or later. We did not see any issues with parking at other locations in the park. Grocery store is minutes away, same with gas station. Road is unpaved so be prepared for some dust. We had 2 major storms coming through in the nights we stayed, building hold up well but make sure not to leave any items outside as they could be blown away. We will stay here again in our next visit.

Super responsive host. House is comfortable and well stocked. Appreciated details like a small bench in the bathroom and plenty of towels and TP. Kitchen has everything. House is 20 minutes from the highway so if quiet is what you are looking for, it’s got it. Enjoyed the front and back porches with comfy chairs on both. Comfortable furniture in the living room, too. Lots of throw blankets… Really well stocked house.

We have stayed in dozens of places near Big Bend over the last 10 years and this place is by far the nicest. Very comfortable furnishings and the kitchen has everything you need. Perfect proximity to the park.

Beautiful home that was the perfect place for us to explore the Big Bend park area. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for our trip to Big Bend and had a blast! The staff were incredibly nice and checking in and out was a breeze. The cabin was super cozy and close to all the restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and my sister's family wanted a place to stay by Big Bend Nat'l Park but also to enjoy Terlingua, surrounding, etc. And family time. If you thinking the same - JUST BOOK THIS PLACE!! Once we all met at the Infinite Skies Retreat, no one wanted to leave! The setting, the view, the sense of place is truly transcendent. So much love went into this house, you can tell by the details in the house (fully stocked kitchen, including spices, oils, flour, sugar everything), the detail of the documentation for how the plane got there, how to use the flight simulator, what switches go where, all the aviation themed decor in every room. Just everything WORKS in this home. We went to Terlingua ghost town (easy 20 min drive) once but made dinner at home otherwise because we didn't want to miss sunsets, etc. If you are going to such a unique place as Big Bend, treat yourself to a unique home experience as well.
