We stayed over a weekend with our two children and some friends. It was torrentially raining for the first 24 hours which was bad luck and made the journey a bit trickier with cancelled ferries but we made it and the sun came out for us and we had a lovely weekend in the incredible surroundings of Mackerel Beach. It’s such a peaceful and magical spot. Relatively close to Sydney but it feels like you’re so far away when you wake up there. Claudia and Richard gave us detailed and clear instructions which made the logistics so much easier. The kids loved the cricket kit and beach equipment. We all appreciated the kitchen set up as we all like to cook. Eating out on the deck was really special. Will definitely be back to Mackerel beach.

Beautiful place to stay and responsive host. Great views, great space in the house, and amenities. The road to get to it is pretty narrow but our big rental van was still able to get there with careful driving.

A truly lovely place to stay. Genina is the best host, and has provided everything (and more) you could possibly need. The apartment is beautifully presented and immaculately maintained, and it’s in a very picturesque location. Our only regret is that we only spent two nights. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.

Ross's home was simply a delight! Comfortable, quiet (except for the morning Kookaburra wake up laugh!) ... a small walk down the side stairs onto a beautiful quiet beach with a great pub/cafe/restaurant to deliver all you need for a relaxing weekend away. Ross is an excellent host who went beyond and made sure we were able to recover personal items that we mistakenly left behind. 5 star location matched by a very hospitable host. Thank you Ross.

We had an amazing stay as a group of friends at this wonderful Airbnb! The location couldn’t be better—having the beach just across the street made our trip truly special. Our host was exceptionally helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed, and provided great local recommendations. The place itself was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a group getaway. The only minor watchpoint is the 1.5 bathroom setup, but we made it work without any issues. We absolutely loved our time here and would love to come back!

Great place for 5 couples. Super clean and convenient location. It rained the whole weekend but we still used sauna and plunge pool. Beautifully decorated.

We had a fantastic stay at Nikita's place. The proximity and access to the beach is incredible and our toddler loved the rock pools. The house is beautiful, sparkling clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We intend to come back asap!

Perfect house for a big family holiday! 6 adults and 1 tween - plenty of space for everyone! Loved the open layout of the house and all the lovely windows! We made great use of the pool and we loved the short stroll to the beautiful Macmasters Beach. The pool & ping pong table got a lot of use with our crew and provided hours of entertainment! Would happily stay again anytime!

We had a great two night stay as a party of three families. There was plenty of inclusions to help keep the kids entertained. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and comfortable. Also super close to the main shops. Would highly recommend 👍

6 friends enjoying an annual getaway found Anna’s fabulous home the perfect place to escape for the weekend. Beautifully appointed, comfortable & very tastefully decorated with everything you need to make your getaway special. The landscaping and pool were a bonus and the proximity to the beach wonderful. We stayed for a week and loved it. The house is so peaceful and perfect for chilling out. Avoca Beach and Copacabana Beach are close by and have everything you need. The house was spotless and Henk gave thorough instructions and hints when checking in. I loved that there weren’t signs and instructions all through the house like some other airbnbs we have stayed at - it made it feel more like home.

We had a perfect weekend at Chloe and Rohan's home. They've done a great job setting up the home for guests while still maintaining all of the thoughtful and cozy attributes of a home. The location is perfect and the deck offers a fantastic view of the ocean, which was very walkable and their native landscaping offers a bit more privacy. Chloe made everything extremely easy with a useful pdf pamphlet of things to know about the area and tips. Our dog loved the very secure yard! We hope to return!

Great location close to beaches and cafes. Place was exactly what we needed for a little getaway with our 1.5 year old. It was very toddler friendly with all the essentials and has enclosed areas for him to run around in with little risk of injury. Very kid friendly furniture and not random decor that he could pull down and destroy which made for a fairly stress-free stay. Lovely outdoor deck which is shaded during the afternoon making it a very pleasant place to spend time unwinding at the end of the day.

Well presented holiday home, with everything you need. Outdoor area was exceptional, perfect for relaxing. Quiet surroundings. Walking distance to shops & beach. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Lisa’s 😁

What a great little spot! Lovely home, super comfortable, great beds and curtains makes for an amazing nights sleep. The shower/steam room combo is cool, the ice bath cooler (pun intended). Loved it, would recommend to anyone, anytime. The driveway has been mentioned in a few previous reviews, yes it’s steep but there’s room on the street to park if you want to avoid it, if not, it’s easily managed (unless you’re my wife in which case definitely do not try to park in it 😂). Thanks Jackson and fam, appreciate the stay!
