Mary’s apartment was fabulous - clean and well-appointed. We loved having access to the pool, and the neighborhood was exactly where we wanted to be — a short walk to the renowned Breakfast Klub and one of our favorite beer gardens (Axelrad). As a host, Mary was responsive and flexible. We had a very late arrival but had no problems checking in through the concierge, and Mary was able to accommodate two last-minute requests: a late check-out and then allowing us to book an extra day with her when we missed our flight! Although this listing is pricey, it is quite luxurious and Mary is a fabulous host. If you are able to spring for the cost, you won’t be disappointed at all.

Avis was an awesome host, was a great place to stay. Clean and accurate description from website! He was super accommodating and responsive!! Would recommend getting a car if you’re looking to get around, not the safest area to walk from place to place. Otherwise would highly recommend!

I stayed at Ted’s place for 5 days and had an incredible experience. The space was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local guides. The host was extremely responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and checkout, which made everything so smooth. The location was perfect, just a short walk from local shops and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Overall I would rate this place 5 stars for its comfort, hospitality, and convenient location. I can’t wait to return!

had a great time staying at cici’s for my work trip. She was incredibly responsive as a host and gave very clear check-in/check-out instructions. Great, walkable location near the convention center and rail line!

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb, it was exactly like the pictures but enhanced! I appreciated how clean, and neat it was! This Airbnb is located in a nice area, with close attractions which were a plus! The host Kobe Nana was very informative, and friendly! I will definitely be booking with this host again, and I recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great stay in Houston, Texas!

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. Our stay during Mardi Gras was even better than I hoped! The spacious home is true to period and tastefully decorated. The rooms are bigger than appeared in the photos, and flow easily throughout the house. 7 of us with 2 bathrooms worked out just fine. Bathrooms and bedrooms are large with full size dressers and closets, game room is spacious even with multiple beds. The living room, dining room and kitchen have plenty of room and seating. Little extras made us feel as we were guests in someone's home - a coffee bar with matching mugs, k-cups, cream, sugar, etc; lovely plastic wine glasses (for outdoor), extra coffee makers, a large array of pots/pans/utensils. It was 40* in February, so we didn't use the pool or upstairs patio but they look lovely. Great location. Communication was great from start to finish - had an issue with the heat when we first arrived and it was taken care of right away! Highly responsive and accommodating hosts, we definitely plan to stay again!

We enjoyed our time here. Ratna provided great information leading up to our arrival. I was glad she mentioned the busy beach - I would have been disappointed if I thought we were going to be on a secluded, traffic-free street. Lots of beach traffic!

We are very last minute and don’t like to plan anything. We decided to take a weekend trip with the grandkids and booked our stay the day we got there. Host responded quickly and the home was very nice and clean. There was plenty of room for us all and so close to the beach! We really enjoyed our stay, Thank you 😊

Nice place. close to Sunny Beach. Quiet. , relaxing, nice kitchen friendly neighbors and folks all around Galveston . Nice to have a grill for our fish we got at the seafood wholesaler! Close to restaurants, shopping and downtown Galveston Jesus responded personally to lights burned out ( his handyman was on vacation) and changes them and always responsive to texts and communication- very friendly helpful in local recommendations!

Tennille was a fabulous host. Her home was amazing and the cargo lift made moving in and out so much easier. she was very responsive to questions and made are stay so much better. Would definitely stay again

Mary's place is in a great location - easy walk to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. Mary has this condo extremely well stocked for any cooking or fun activity you have in mind. She is extremely friendly and helpful with ideas on the Galveston area. The neighbors are also very friendly. I highly recommend Mary's place for your vacation to Galveston.

Excellent place, communicative host, couldn’t complain at all!

Our stay at this beautiful property was quite enjoyable. The communication with the staff was excellent, and the property matched our expectations perfectly. We found several wonderful restaurants within a short 10-minute drive, including Nate’s West End and Watermans. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would rate it highly.

This property is incredible! If you’re a family traveling with children, you will LOVE this home! If you’re traveling without kids, you’re still going to love the quiet, tranquil surroundings and welcoming environment. Our family of 9 had lots of space to spread out and live comfortably. Restaurants and grocery are not close by, but if you plan well, you’ll be fine!!

Rod and Patty’s place was the perfect spot to view the sunrise in the morning and close to everything. They were very responsive and were the perfect hosts. Loved all the windows that had views of the ocean and we will definitely be coming back here for our next trip to the island.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We have stayed in Galveston a couple of times and this was our favorite spot. The Islander East condominium location is really great compared to other locations in Galveston. Not as many people and access to the beach without having to cross a street. The condo was great! Especially for the price. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the birds fly by. The hosts were so nice and did a great job with communication. Would definitely stay again!
