I had such a wonderful experience at the Jungle House. It is exactly what it says in the write-up. The grounds and surrounding landscape is so green and lush and the nearby waterfall (literally 5 mins walk away) is so refreshing for a quick swim, and so clear! The cabin itself is simple, but actually nicer than expected, and being able to open the ENTIRE house up using the accordion doors is awesome! The cooking facilities are adequate and the bathroom is clean and in working order. There's no AC, but the valley is cooler than the Chiang Mai plains and the fan was perfectly sufficient. Sure, there are bugs, it is Thailand and the jungle after all, but the vast majority are friendly, very pretty, and the sealed off bedroom provides a perfect sanctuary away from them when sleeping. Finally, both Chai and Gina met me at the beginning of the stay, brought me fruit and took me on a little tour. They were so hospitable, and always just a phone call away. If you are looking for a cheap, peaceful, simple get away from Chiang Mai, I highly recommend the Jungle House, and the new bridge across Mae Kuang Dam makes it even easier to get there through Doi Saket, though the dirt road is a little bumpy at this stage. I already miss the sounds of birds and chickens, and the hundreds of butterflies. And the peace. Thanks guys, I'll be back when I have more writing to do! Dan :)

Charming place to spend quality time with your friends and family. The view is stunning. Very private bnb. Very helpful staffs. We recommend this house for the one who seek the beautiful and peaceful moment in your life :) 👍🏻

Wir hatten einen guten Start. Der Bungalow hat eine Leiter zum „Kinderzimmer“ - das war für unsere kleinen Kinder nicht so geeignet. Ansonsten war alles toll. Gleich um die Ecke gibt es Restaurant, Supermärkte und Massage und trotzdem ist die Lage ruhig. Für uns viel besser als direkt am überfüllten Kamala Beach zu wohnen. Wir haben gleich noch mal für die letzten Nächte vor unserem Weiterflug gebucht. Die Preise sind auf Phuket unvergleichbar hoch. Aber überall. Günstiger kann man n Hut viel besser wohnen, denke ich.

Lovely place to stay, bedrooms all a nice size. Pool a good size also. Amazing view of the sea from the balcony area. The house was cleaned throughout our stay, the cleaner and pool cleaner both very friendly. Shops and restaurants walkable also, a supermarket, multiple smaller shops, and a couple thai restaurants.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le lieu est très paisible et très bien entretenu. Le logement est très propre et conforme à la description. Le couple de personnes sur place est toujours prêt à aider (repas, conseil de visites, linge) et très sympathique. Nous avons du quitter le logement plus tôt que prévu car notre bébé était malade et l’hôte a fait preuve de flexibilité. Rien à redire, nous reviendrons très certainement et nous ne pouvons que recommander ce lieu. Un grand merci!

La estancia ha sido muy agradable y tranquila. Nos hemos sentido como en casa, incluso hemos alargado nuestra estancia. La casa, la azotea, las vistas a la montaña, los pájaros, la piscina es una maravilla para poderte sumergir en la tranquilidad en plena naturaleza y super cerca del pueblo. Todo estaba muy limpio. Y tener a libre disposición café, té, mantequilla, mermelada, agua y pan nos ha hecho sentirnos muy cuidados. El personal muy amable, nos han ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado. Una estancia inolvidable, nos hubiéramos quedado mucho más tiempo, os la recomendamos.

What a beautiful place. If you’re looking for some peach and quiet on the party island, this is definitely the place to be.

A beautiful jungle-like stay right by the water. A peaceful retreat and has a wonderful pilates studio on site. Right around the corner are delicious cafes and restaurants all in a walks distance. Would definitely stay here again :)

Atemberaubendes kleines Bungalow in Mitten des Urwaldes direkt am Strand. Die Menschen sind so freundlich und zuvorkommend sodass man sich von Minute eins an geborgen und wie zu Hause fühlt. Einfach nur wunderschön. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
