If you are looking for a peaceful,private and beautiful place away from Chiangmai ,this is it. 20 to 30 minute drive from city centre( white public taxis 20 Bhat per person and until 6pm, every 5 or 10 minutes from near the stay and back from the city at Thamel Coffee) This is probably a 5 minute drive from the nearest town center which has supermarkets, an evening market, spas, cafes and shops. The only con was there were mosquitoes in the area and it is not for people who are looking to party or tourist attractions, this is more for just enjoying the nature and local life. The place is very calm, has beautiful surroundings, a pretty stream, an adorable Maximus the pet dog and a very sweet host couple! They made our stay very special and helped us out when we needed! The cottage has a lot of space, and all things you would need for a good stay including washer, kitchen stuff, pool, A/C and other necessities.

The cutest stay! Felt so zen and peaceful in the mushroom community, a little get away while in Chiang Mai. The check in was soooo quick and they let us check in early too. Everyone was extremely nice, we would stay here again!

A super Airbnb IF you’re lucky enough to find availability. Awesome host, too, I liked it so much I’ve already booked my stay for next year. The bed is wonderful. The kitchen is functional and has a good sized refrigerator. The bathroom is roomy and well lit. The air conditioning is nice and cold. I always switch it off when I go out, yet once I turn it on, it cools down the place quickly. The nearby beaches are the best, around, in my opinion. Inexpensive and good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. If not, the Grab or Bolt apps are inexpensive for a taxi,

What a wonderful few days!! I can’t recommend this beautiful farm more. We had the absolute best time. Munin and his brother and mother treated us like family. It was truly a unique and special experience. The breakfast is included and such authentic, delicious Thai meals made by Munin’s brother. They have the most friendly dogs there, and we loved getting to know them and love on them. We were able to use Munin’s scooter to check out the area, loved that!! The National Park is super close as well. Loy Krathong fell on the same dates we were there, so they taught us how to make our own Krathongs and took us to the local town festival to celebrate this beautiful yearly event. Words really can’t describe our experience. Our holiday to Thailand ended on the biggest high note, and it is all thanks to Munin. We would love to be back again, stay longer, and learn more about their chocolate and take some Thai cooking classes with them as well. You will not regret your time here 💛

Das Hostel ist absolut zu empfehlen, wer wie wir nur einen kurzen stop-over hat. Suttinee ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte Probleme mit dem Rücken und sie hat mir abends noch eine super Massage direkt vor Ort organisiert. Das war super. Auch der Kaffee in ihrem Café war einer der besten unseres Urlaubs. Die Betten waren doch härter als erwartet und von mir aus Asien gewöhnt.

Waan and Phil are nice host. They are considerate and provide with us plenty of ingredients for breakfast. They also provide adequate bottles of water, which is essential during our stay. The homemade bread from Coconut Lane is superb!! I really miss the bread.

We Loved our stay here. Wei was very informative when we arrived and very responsive to our messages and questions. The location is absolutely amazing and felt like we were exactly where we wanted to be. Place was really clean and bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere walking distance to everything you need.

Good to stay here; Peaceful vibes

From a couple of days ahead Michael was in touch with help about arrival. We were met on arrival and given a comprehensive run down of the local area restaurants and services. Along with this the fridge was ready stocked with fruit and drinks, snacks and a water cooler also, and best of all 2 lots of coffee beans with 3 ways to make your own coffee in the morning. The kitchen was extremely well kitted out, from juicer to deep fat fryer and squeaky clean. A few steps to a lovely sandy beach, for beach bums like us it was perfect.

Thanks for Mintra and her family's reply and help. It's a tiny cozy house with a nice yard and just next to her family's restaurant. It's also cafe and 7-11 next to the gas station, very convenient. It takes around 15 mins to wonderfruit by motorcycle. I would really love to come back next year

We booked for a glorious month. An orchard behind and a grassy area and rice fields in front with 4 houses on the dead end street. Very quiet and so safe. The soundscape of birdsong was heavenly. The kitchen was well designed to properly cook, with the essential equipment, plus a big fridge. Having a moat there’s moving water reflecting off the ceiling in every room. The few things we asked for, Maree quickly saw to, and except for linen changing, let us be. Maree runs an outdoor coffee shop in front of the house 4 days a week which was not busy. No nightclubs are audible and only distant traffic. We loved the huge bed. We bought an extra mosquito net for my paint studio over the picnic table and had ours over the bed, but soon took both down. Moths came near sunset but we had very little bugs otherwise. There is an old rooster next door with a low raspy voice so audible but as low impact as possible. Nearby a couple shops, a water kiosk, otherwise temples, rice fields & teak houses

I had a wonderful stay at Venekar's place. Even though I only stayed one night, I felt like it was a short holiday. My two Thai dogs loved it too and we hope to get away from for a short break away from Bangkok again very soon. The balcony overlooks the rice fields and is absolutely stunning. The are was very peaceful. Venekar also cooked my two dogs breakfast, which they both loved and baked eggs for my breakfast, which was delicious. This is a gem!

This place is nice and clean. Walkable to the quiet and beautiful beach. If you need to escape from a busy city, this lovely place is recommended.

Our favorite place in Thailand! If you want to experience the Thai culture and have a relaxing stay this is the place for you! Don’t miss it! We can’t wait to come back! Nancy is a wonderful host and made us delicious food while we were there! And the art gallery is an added bonus! We felt like family and even extended our stay.

I was lucky to have enjoyed the Mushroom House for two months, and I was sad to leave. Both host and associated family were wonderful , friendly and accommodating, and I will miss them. The house itself is qwerky, comfortable and private. If you are looking for something different then make sure you book it.

The most serene location and beautifully designed space made for an incredible stay. The host on the property was outstanding - ensured a perfect stay and prepared the most delicious fresh food daily. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a lovely time at this wonderful Airbnb. Would recommend to any passing through, it was peaceful and the nature sounds were so calming. There were no mosquitoes which was a plus. Felt right at home straight away and had a great sleep.

Probably the most beautiful Airbnb I've ever been. I was almost unwilling to leave the house to explore the surroundings of Pai, because I felt so good there. :) The place is clean, cosy, practical and peaceful. All Joy's houses are located in area beside small river. The place has great atmosphere, nice view and is visibly handled and maintained with love. House was very well equipped, same as the shared outdoor kitchen. Joy is very kind, friendly and helpfull and her reactions for messagges were very, very quick. I'm not a driver and before Joy confirmed my reservation, she warned me, that the place is quite remote from the town centre and it's better to use scooter to get there. I extremely appreciate this honest approach and despite the scooter is definitely the most comfortable option of transportation at Pai, I managed it on the bicycle and I don't regret. This place was really the nicest i saw while wandering around and I was grateful to stay right there. :)

Prisana is a great host and the small cabin feels very homely and nice. The small attention to detail like leaving raincoats and umbrella and bottle openers is such a great gesture. I usually don't feel instantly safe, but this family compound had an instant warmth and safe feeling to it. Prisana also guided us to the bus station and which terminal to take, without even asking. She's very intuitive that way and it reflects on how well equipped the cabin was. You should book this place with zero worries. The lanes are very confusing but Prisana made sure we get there without any hiccup. I look forward to coming again and staying here and would highly recommend it to my friends as well.
