Oh absolutely 💯, worth every penny cant wait to so it again highly recommended for privacy, adventure, kayak fun, fishing, snorklling, or just chilling in a nice beach which is 8minutes drive from the house .

Great location. On the campsite, but located away from everyone else and really close to the beach. A great place to stay and would thoroughly recommend it

Janet Ann was a great host. Very chatty & friendly upon arrival & during our stay. She was available throughout our stay. We chose this apartment as it was 30 minutes drive from the Hot water beach & the Cathedral Cove. We were unlucky with the weather, however the hot water beach was still good fun. The apartment is very spacious, homely, & has good enough kitchen equipment for basic meals. We made a chicken Thai green curry for dinner & our breakfast no problem. A reasonable amount of food storage space, but not for elaborate food preparation. Lovely views into the garden and there is use of kayaks if desired. Would definitely recommend this relaxing stay.

Jill’s place was fantastic. Loved it. Everything was perfect. Great location with beautiful views. We met Jill on our way up to the house and she gave us tips on groceries, cafes, sightseeing etc. so nice walking up to the house passing apple, fig trees etc. Will come back and visit again.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! Our stay at Treehouse by the Sea / Ngarimu Bay was absolutely fantastic! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Coro was an exceptional host—welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every detail from check-in to check-out. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently situated for exploring the Coromandel. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, where we enjoyed stunning sunset views—an unforgettable experience! We’d love to return. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent stay and absolutely breathtaking view! Vi elskede hver en stund på dette dejlige sted, hvor du har fuldstændig panoramaudsigt over bjergene og havet. Vi blev vækket af den smukkeste solopgang og fuglesang hver morgen og nød at sidde på den store terrasse og kigge ud over landskabet. Lejligheden er underetagen af huset med en lille have, som ligger privat og ugenert. Det er hyggeligt og som at bo i nogens sommerhus. Det er et must at have bil, så du kan køre til byen, indkøb, restauranterne og de fantastiske strande. Jane var super hjælpsom, og vi var taknemmelige for adgangen til vaskemaskinen. Tak for et vidunderligt ophold, vi kommer meget gerne tilbage!

Linda and Jim are wonderful hosts. The studio is a perfect spot for a couple, from which to explore the Coromandel. There are lovely views from the studio and it's private patio. Linda's welcome kit of fresh fruit, homemade muffins bread and homemade jam was very kind. The muffins and jam were exceptional! The studio is spotless and as described. We highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle's in Coromandel. Michelle was very welcoming and super helpful! beautiful surroundings and lots to do nearby - bush walks, swims at beautiful beaches plus pottering around the town itself. Highly recommended 👌

Schönes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Gastgeber wohnen direkt hinter der Türe, dadurch war es abends schonmal etwas lauter aufgrund des Kindes.

Wir waren 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Sie ist wirklich schön gestaltet und man kommt zu Fuß schnell in das kleine Zentrum und an den Strand. Auch die Fähre ist fußläufig erreichbar (ca. 30 min), mit der man nach Whitianga fahren kann. Der Ort ist dann deutlich größer. Jede Unterkunft hat einen eigenen Stellplatz und das ganze Gelände ist äußerst ansprechend. Gerne wieder, vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

This airbnb was hands down one of the best I ever stayed in. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped and you have several options for your breakfast - all provides by Yvonne. The patio / garden is stunningly beautiful and invites you to stay there and just relax for a moment. Yvonne was a great host, that went above and beyond to provide as good an experience as it gets. She gave me recommendations on what to do, checked in with me to see if everything was alright and every contact I had with her felt very genuine and warmhearted. Would definitely stay here again and also recommend to others!

Me and my partner had a lovely stay here! It was so peaceful right on the seafront. Sunset was amazing. The bed was so comfy! Shower was great.Basic but useful kitchenette. Fresh scones on arrival which were delicious. Had a lovely morning out on the kayaks also. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this cozy cabin! The space was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was cooking dinner on the provided BBQ and enjoying it on the deck—such a perfect way to take in the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. Lawrence was a wonderful host, warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My partner and I had a great time spending the weekend at Jane’s Airbnb, we got a warm welcome from Jane and some great recommendations for place to go (including borrowing a shovel for hot water beach!). The actual rooms were great so cozy and homey, a lot bigger and nicer than the pictures showed and she had some great extras like robes, towels and even some yummy fejoas. Next time we are up we will definitely be staying with Jane again. Very kind and great place all round!

We had an amazing time in Matarangi - Jaine’s place is perfect as a base for exploring the area. Jaine and Ken are amazing hosts, giving us lots of tips for the area and taking the time to chat with us whenever we were around. The room is private from the rest of the house, spacious and the bed is very comfy and shower pressure strong. Matarangi and the surrounding area is just beautiful and lots to explore. We will be back!

This airbnb was just fabulous. Loved how the staffs were friendly and very joyful. There's a swimming pool and a hot tub which was the cherry on the cake. Loved how it's at the end of the road and it's very quiet. Parking was very convenient as it was next to the room. Absolutely loved everything!

The apartment was very comfortable and the yard very enjoyable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If you need something ask for it, that's how we were able to use their beach chairs. They even supplied shovels for Hot Water Beach. Having use of a bbq is always a bonus. It's a long walk to the town centre but if you have a car it's a great location.

Jenny's home was stunning. From the view, to the amenities, to the peaceful location, everything was spot on and spectacular. This is the type of place that people dream about staying in, made reality. Jenny was communicative and proactive in providing instructions and making sure our check-in went smoothly. The local recommendations and equipment provided was key to ensuring we had a good experience not only on the property, but in the surrounding area as well. I would stay there forever if I could, but most definitely would stay there again.
