The time that we spent in Hopkins at Steve and Rita‘s Place was not only relaxing and comfortable, but a home away from home. We’d definitely stay there again! We walked in, unpacked and had everything we needs at our fingertips. We enjoyed every minute. Hopkins is a small tight knit community where we felt welcome, but the rental location has a lot of privacy with iguanas, rays, fish, many species of birds, manatees and even an agouti visit! You will not regret booking this stunning home. Thank you Rita and Steve for making our first visit to Belize amazing! You better BELIZE we will be back. 🩵

This is our second time staying. The hospitality of the caretaking staff is unmatched and Karen (owner) is super responsive. We love Hopkins because it's small, safe, and far away from what feels touristy. Having a private beach is amazing, especially with kids. They love playing in the sand, trying to beat us at bocce ball (provided by the house), and walking next door to Mango's for an easy meal. For our family of four, this house has been a great find.

This was a great place to stay for our family reunion, family of 11, with plenty of room for everyone. The golf cart, pool, paddle boards, and kayaks were put to great use! However, the best part of the house is the staff. Orlando, the chef, was amazing. Not only was his food delicious, but his company was even better. He was professional and kind. In addition, Carlos and Melanie, who take care of the property inside and out, made us feel at home. Carlos raked the beach, cleaned the pool, and Melanie kept the house spotless. We are very grateful for their professionalism and hard work! They made the trip for us :). One thing to note: two of the three upstairs showers did take a bit to warm up, and I would (for a big family) recommend renting a car as you cannot fit everyone on the golf cart. The property is peaceful and relaxing! We had a great week! Thank you!

Beautiful quiet location near Seine Bight, where you’ll find a grocery and atm. Some great food and lots of local flair. Placencia is a short scooter or bike ride away..The property was cozy and nicely appointed. Everything we needed, including a washer/dryer! Hosts were responsive & friendly:) Already thinking about returning to rent both houses on the property with friends!!

I’m not the manager, Manuela, right as I got there. She told me a lot about the property and the surrounding area. It was very peaceful and serene setting. The grounds were quite beautiful. The gardener on site has been working there for 11 years and has planted most of the flowers and trees on site. I would recommend a car if you’re staying here . That did make my getting around very easy. The golf cart or scooter work if you wanna get there a little faster and have protection from the rain say a car I hung out at restaurants/bar and met a lot of local residence. It made you feel very much at home. I would definitely go back.

No complaints what’s so ever! Beautiful resort, beautiful amenities, staff were fantastic even letting us check in early . On site pool and swim up bar, beach front, restaurant on site ! If you want to just show up and start your relaxing vacay this is definitely a place for you ! We would definitely return.

What a wonderful stay in Belize. Although the property is 2.5hrs away from the international airport, it was WELL WORTH the drive to the beautiful and peaceful peninsula. Be sure to get exact location (AirBnb 'get directions' takes you 30 minutes past property). The home is BEAUTIFUL, very clean, and looks much like the listing. The pool and beachfront was nice especially for the 3yr old. Any questions we had were addressed and we were given great recommendations. If you want a massage, book Alba from Secret Jewel Spa services. Looking to fish, Nauti by Nature was bomb. And we enjoyed Monkey River. Maya Bistro (6 min away from house) saw us DAILY ... the food was delicious. If you're undecided about this property.. don't delay, BOOK TODAY!! You can thank me later. :-) 10/10 and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I appreciated and enjoyed staying at La Vida Belize. Brad is a friendly, responsive and supportive host. He went out of his way to help me on both check in and check out days with logistics. The beach is 10m outside the door and gorgeous and calm. There is a plunge pool literally right outside. The studio has a chic, modern aesthetic that suits my taste. Placencia is about 25 mins away. Brad rented me a new and fun e-bike at a quite reasonable rate for the entire duration which was fun to get around on. I enjoyed the restaurants that are around. A few more miscellaneous points for those considering it. Brad’s helpers onsite are friendly and helpful. La Vida Belize sits pretty directly on the main road, with some traffic noise. There are two other airbnbs on the property. All in all, really cool stay. Grateful I found this as an option. Served me really well.

Our stay was great the host was responsive. The home is farther north on the peninsula which I knew and liked. If you like to travel inland this is a great location, it saves you many bumps and time. I will say with the store closing in Maya Beach currently you have to go to Seine Bight or Santa Cruz to find a grocery store. Hopefully the Maya Beach store will reopen soon. I would definitely stay here again. The beach was nice and great for swimming you can wade very far out, we also used the kayaks. The neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet area. We stayed in one of the two lower suites and my only complaint is that the noise from the chairs above being scooted across the floor is horrible. They need a pad placed on the legs. We had a family of 8 staying above us 6 of the days and there was lots of noise from the chairs being moved around. It is a very loud screeching sound. Other than that we had no complaints. We look forward to staying gain.
