This was my family’s very first time using Airbnb and Nicole made it so much better. The property is beautiful, the neighborhood is peaceful, and most importantly Nicole took measures to ensure my family’s safety. This was an amazing first experience and when we need to stay in the area again, we WILL be staying at this property. 10/10. Would recommend, would do again.

Dezerae’s cabin was very nice and clean. It’s a great place to stay. Dezerae was very responsive and was such a kind host. She knew we would be coming in late so she made the pull-out couch up for our kids so we wouldn’t have to. This is a great edition for places to stay in Mound City!

Beautiful lake house, very comfortable, such a great place to chill. The hot tub is super clean, and there’s a fantastic view of the lake from everywhere! Gary is very kind and considerate. We will return next time we’re in the area.

Marilee's place was a fantastic home base for our trip to Iola, my girlfriend's hometown. We wanted to experience the local charm and nostalgia, and this house provided the perfect setting. The spacious, single-level layout was ideal for our group, allowing everyone to spread out and relax. The decor was lovely and created a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.

This is a beautiful property with so many things to do. My grandkids loved playing pool in the basement and fishing in the lake. The adults loved the peaceful surroundings and the views. It was an ideal location for family photos. We had a difficult time getting the heat to come on in the basement, but my son figured it out. So many thermostats! There were also a lot of stains on the carpets. Things that would have made it better: A working fireplace Another queen bed upstairs Ability to get enough hot water for the tub. The Hill was a fantastic stay! Quiet and peaceful surroundings! Really great decorations and knick-knacks in the place. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make a good meal. The patio was nice to sit on and the caged outside area for a dog was a great addition! Justin was very responsive and hospitable. He made sure that we were well taken care of for our stay. Will be returning!
