Just returned from 8-days at Justin’s place & I would definitely stay there again. The view wasn’t the best & the bed is noisy, but overall it’s a cozy apartment. The Sandyport Plaza is relatively quiet, PLENTY of great restaurants are within walking distance, the beach is across the street & the pool at the Sandyport Resort is right next door. The jitney #10 stops across the street & takes you into downtown Nassau. We also took the #12 & rode it in the opposite direction to see the island before it headed downtown. Justin’s place is perfect for those that want to be close enough to the action downtown but not too close to have to deal with the daily crowds/traffic. The grocery store is about a 10 minute walk away. Also, there are a lot of bars/restaurants along W Bay Street where you can enjoy some authentic Bahamian food. We walked back from The Poop Deck restaurant after 8pm & felt very safe. Rent a car if you want to explore & Justin’s taxi recommendation, Sharon, was very helpful

All we can say is Wow! Laurie’s space was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. She was an absolutely stellar host. The unit itself was grand and spacious, extremely comfortable and perfectly curated. We’ve been to several Airbnb properties over the years and Laurie has put together one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The kitchen had all essentials required for an extended stay, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and luxurious and the overall condo was in pristine condition. Laurie provided activities (indoor games and outdoor equipment) that made our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to return someday soon!

We booked this villa last minute after we had already arrived in the Bahamas. The AirBnB we booked was awful so we actually ended up booking this place (in addition to the place we originally booked unfortunately). We wanted somewhere nice for Christmas. Everything was fantastic and it saved our holiday. The only sad part was that we could not stay longer as it was already booked so we had to return to our other AirBnB for the remaining days. I highly recommend this place. Was clean and had everything you would need. Plus the beach club and restaurant are great. Our girls used the gym and we got coffee at the dock every morning. The staff at the beach bar by the pool were amazing. There was a really lovely woman that looked after us each day. We loved the marina view every morning. The queen room has a small bunk room attached (via the bathroom) so this is good for little kids. Our teen daughters took over the queen room and the bunk room so it worked out perfectly for our stay.

This vacation condo could not have worked out better. It was clean and spacious and sat on a beautiful private beach. Nice private balcony with comfy chairs. Washer and dryer too! Place was well stocked with everything you needed t make something to eat. Handy blow dryers , beach towels, coffee maker with filters, dish liquid and hand soap. Walk to stores and restaurants too!

I was so lucky to find last minute availability at this beautiful AirBNB for Spring Break. It is exactly as pictured - top of the line appliances and bathroom fixtures. Amazing balcony and rooftop deck. We were there as a family of 4 with two teenagers. We loved having the room to spread out in the three bedrooms instead of being all together in one hotel room for the same price. The only surprise to me was that the 3rd bedroom is accessed from the rooftop deck and not technically connected to the rest of the condo. It is a beautiful room, and my 14 year old loved it, but it would not be ideal for a small child or an older person because a trip up a spiral staircase is required to get there. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and contained Subzero and Wolf appliances. There was even a Wolf grill on the roof top terrace. It was a short walk to the marina, Cabbage Beach, and the Atlantis. Would definitely stay here again. Chauncy was so responsive!

Angela was always responsive and accommodating. Once the Marina and amenities aare complete this spot will be even better.

This condo is a very good option if visiting Nassau and want to avoid the resort crowds. The unit is very spacious and modern. The pool deck is immaculate and the highlight of the property. I've stayed in this building before and it is starting to show some signs of wear and tear from the elements. The unit itself has similiar feel including the furniture. There is a lack of good quality, reasonably priced restaurants in the area so having a kitchen is helpful. Can walk to beach very easily. Enjoyed the stay and would return. Host is very responsive and helpful.

Our family of 4 was extremely comfortable in Tineka's home! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to prepare meals; high end appliances were appreciated. The pool was beautiful and we used the grill area for dinner one night. The private, small beach was perfect to snorkel and swim. There is a condo building being built 2 buildings down so there was some construction noise, but nothing major or too disruptive. We walked to the Baha Mar one day to enjoy the water park and had a lovely lunch at Marcus. We walked to Meze Grill one night for an excellent dinner. Monique was our taxi driver that transported us to and from the airport; she also coordinated a ride for us when she was busy so we could get to Paradise Island for a half day boat tour. Went with Captain Stafford through 4WindsTours, highly recommend. Tineka was always available via phone/text, amazing host!! Met us at the condo to explain everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb stay! The unit is spacious, stylishly modern, and Agatha was a fantastic host. The amenities are top-notch, with a gym, infinity pool, and 24hr security (which also facilitates check-in). The location is also fantastic - just a ~10-minute walk to Cabbage Beach, one of the island's best spots. We tried a couple of nearby restaurants: Dune at the Four Seasons (good food, though a bit pricey for what you get - the atmosphere and coastal views were incredible) and Carnivale, which we enjoyed. Didn't find any exceptional restaurants on Paradise Island so I'd suggest you check out the rest of Nassau if you're interested in dining. For groceries, we initially went to Sawyer's on Paradise Island, but it was mostly out of stock when we visited. We ended up using Solomon’s across the bridge instead. You can walk there, but I’d recommend taking a taxi, as the walkway isn’t the most pedestrian-friendly.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! Elvira, the owner, was incredibly kind, greeting us on arrival and checking in on us throughout our stay. The condo is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and beautifully decorated with Bahamian art. The spacious main bedroom features a walk-in closet and a master bathroom. The two additional bedrooms share another bathroom. The pool is just steps away, and there are plenty of bath and beach towels provided. The in-unit washer and dryer were super convenient. A grocery store is just 3 minutes away by car. We also loved The Pink Octopus restaurant with its delicious food and stunning beach view. While the condo is a bit away from Nassau's main attractions, we preferred the peaceful location. Just note that the drive may take longer than the GPS suggests due to traffic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay with a fantastic host!

Loved our stay at Starfish! Having never been to Nassau I think I asked more questions than I have to any other host and she responded very timely and was super knowledgeable every time! The location was perfect for our family providing very easy access to the beach and pools. Very chill atmosphere which is exactly what we were looking for. We purchased the day passes for $22/day which gave us even more beach access, Inc bar and Pink Octopus access. Would definitely recommend this as well. The staff were amazing and so friendly they felt like friends! The condo was very clean and spacious. Was hard to leave and head back to the cold!

Thank you Neil for an awesome stay. The place was very convenient. Great location , pool, basketball court, ocean within 4 minute walk. Also the bus stop is within 5 minutes walking along with grocery store(13 minute walk). We cooked a lot because the restaurant prices were very high lol.

Our stay at Vernette's home was everything we hoped for and more! The house offered plenty of privacy, even though Vernette lives there, and we had access to a beautiful garden, pool, and a deck with a grill where we enjoyed dinner every evening. We were traveling with two small children, and Vernette had everything we needed to make our stay easier—baby gate, high chair, pack 'n play, and even child-friendly plates, silverware, and toys. This made a huge difference during our trip. The house is conveniently located near a supermarket and a local beach, away from the typical cruise ship crowds, which made it feel like a more authentic experience. Vernette truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. She generously shared fresh fruit from her garden and even delivered homemade banana bread. She’s a warm, thoughtful host, and we wholeheartedly recommend staying at her home for anyone visiting the Bahamas.

We had an amazing stay at the villa ! The place was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday . Kyrene was absolutely lovely, so welcoming, kind, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Her hospitality made our experience even more special. We also really appreciated being able to store our luggage until 3 PM, which made our departure much more convenient. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the Bahamas!

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

my experience at this villa was priceless.,..the pictures does give it justice,.. from the ambiance to the size and space and perfect location along with a very responsive and friendly host made this stay unforgettable.

This was our first visit to the Bahamas (wife and I) , and as such we didn't know what to expect. On the spectrum of "Disney Land tourist trap" on the one end, and "Secluded, serene escape from reality" on the other, both the Island of Eleuthera and Marco's Place in particular fall firmly on the side of the latter. Both the broader island and this property exude a rustic and simple elegance and beauty. The property is spacious (numerous bedrooms and common spaces) making it an ideal group destination. The home is located on an expansive bluff with access to a limitless stretch of sandy beach below, and offers a panoramic view of the ocean and an endless parade of white-capped waves (among the most beautiful we've experienced). This is a place where one wakes up early for the simple joy of watching the sun rise while sipping coffee and contemplating the meaning of life from the elevated vantage point of the pool deck.

Had a blast at Kathy place! The home was better than described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed+. The location was perfect, close to food, beach, casino and anything you may need or want to do. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Kathy was an excellent host—super responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. They provided a ton of local recommendations and even went the extra mile. Tons of activities right there. The days we opted to stay in we had lots of things to do. From board games to pool. There were darts, video games, karaoke and MORE. There’s an outline of things to know in every room. Fridge had lots of beverages to get us started. Toothbrush and toothpaste. Early check-in, or flexible check-out. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting The Bahamas. I will be absolutely staying here again! Thank you Miss Kathy Keisha and the crew

TL/DR:Awesome place. Not convenient to anything but that is exactly the point. Highly recommend Chef Everton Smith - book well in advance Pro: chill, quiet, clean, safe, relaxing, private, no nightclubs/late night bars, no yelling or screaming, beach front, good kitchen, purified water tap, good water pressure, ample hot water, good internet speed, satellite tv, host arranged transportation to and from airport Cons: all bedrooms on upper floors, no black out curtains in any bedroom, bed rooms are stuffy with A/C so must open doors to hallways, bathrooms stay damp, no bug screens - can’t keep outside doors open w/o having flies, narrow stairs with only partial rails, nearby restaurant just above average, everything in the Bahamas is pricy, limited activities, expensive clubhouse/pool pass must be purchased for a 3 day minimum and for all occupants (even those that can not utilize the pool), 45-60 min from the airport and 30 min to town by taxi.
