Really enjoyed our stay at 1837. Our cottage was exactly as described. We enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out over the vineyards - so peaceful. Nelly kept in touch before we arrived and the early check in was helpful. Shaun was so friendly, greeted us when we arrived and gave us a private wine tasting. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and had tapas which was lovely. The sunrise and sunsets were spectacular. Definitely recommend staying here

We stayed for a month and we were truly sad to leave. Nelly makes the place a wonderful and tranquil oasis with majestic views of Barossa Valley. The on-site restaurant is top notch and their wines are wonderful. The cottage itself has everything you need to relax, drink some wine and cook a meal. Again Nelly and Guido are perfect hosts and we will be back.

5 star AirBNB - great location with numerous walkable wineries and food options within a short drive, very peaceful, an excellent place to get away for a short break! Highly recommend!

My husband & I, plus another family, spent a week at Suzie's Villa & all had a fantastic stay. The house is really beautiful, super clean, exquisitely furnished, has every mod con, is walkable distance to eating places & a supermarket, is set next to a lovely vineyard with a view of the rolling hills behind, & we lacked for nothing. Suzie had even added lovely extra touches - port & chocs, biscuits, & plenty of basics like cereal, sauce, cooking oil, & coffee pods, etc etc. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucpans, frying pans, etc. Suzie has a flair for interior design & the Villa was truly a home-away-from-home, and our group loved every minute of the luxury & beauty there. Also, Suzie was helpful & prompt in communications & gave some great suggestions & ideas of things to do, & where to access a hot air balloon ride & the Gorge Wildlife Park (both big highlights for us!). One of the very best Airbnbs we've stayed in, over many years. Thank you Suzie!!

This was my first trip to the Barossa and it did not disappoint. My stay at 1837 was a highlight and a property I plan on staying at again in the future. I would highly suggest this to anyone who wants stunning winery views at their doorstep and close proximity to more cellar doors you could possibly want. Property was clean and more spacious than expected with a very well equipped kitchen, with easy check in and out.

The Beautiful Barossa made even better by our staying at this traditional heritage house that made us feel at home. We selected Veritas Retreat firstly because it was within walking distance of an event we were attending at Peter Lehmaann Winery and also close to other wineries , we were able to relax. enjoy a wine and unwind. The house is as described , a historic home that made us feel comfortable with everything you needed provided. Tasty Barossa bacon and sausages and eggs from our hosts chickens, [thank you ladies] made a great start to each day having woken to the sound of kookaburras. A glass of wine provided for us and some we brought made a perfect ending to our day. We have stayed in many B&B's around Australia, all have been great experiences but we really were saddened to have to leave Veritas Retreat, the stay had been so good, so relaxing, so private but with everything at hand. I especially enjoyed reading about the history of the house and the Binder Winery.

This is a gorgeous property with a beautiful house. Amanda and Antony have done a superb job in decorating it and making it feel like home. The main lounge and bedroom is epic! So cosy and made for such a beautiful stay. The kitchen is really lovely, and very enjoyable to cook in. We had a great first night cooking pizzas and Amanda was very responsive to texts when I had questions about where things were. The spa was a great addition and we spent a few hrs in there on both days. For a wholesome getaway, I highly recommend staying here Thanks Amanda and Antony

Wonderful house . Very dry time of year so outdoors looked different . The indoors was spectacular !

Best location in Adelaide. Everything within easy walking distance, groceries, O'Connell's St restaurants, golf coffee shops, Adelaide Oval. Great area to do an early morning walk and then a coffee at Flying Fig. Will definitely rebook this p mm ace, ideal for a large group.

Sandra's place exceeded our expectations for a weekend getaway! The house was well equipped and provided excellent indoor and outdoor entertainment areas for a large group of people. Sandra was the perfect host- very friendly and responsive!

Lyndoch Grand in de Barossa Valley is een zeer aan te bevelen locatie om te verblijven!! Wij verbleven met 6 personen 4 weken in dit prettige huis. Darren en zijn vrouw zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, ze verwelkomden ons met een heerlijke BBQ! De pooltafel in de grote kamer boven was fantastisch! Groeten Dirk Antonis

We had an amazing stay at The Retreat and wished we had booked for longer! There’s so much more to explore, so we’ll definitely be back. On arrival, it felt like a hone away from home but with added benefits. The added touches of a welcome note and gift, complimentary mini bar and breakfast provisions to the indoor sauna and spa pool. We loved every minute of the relaxing accommodation and highly recommend.

OMG!! Do not bring a thing...literally. Gracious host Damir had everything prepared for us and plenty of beautiful breakfast provisions. And to top it off, we are just 2 minutes walk from the main street. What a great stay!
