Fantastic view of Dunitin city. Comfortable and warm, well preparation before our arrival. If I visit Dunitin again in future, I'll stay here again.

Tracy’s house is a true gem - modern and clean with a mind blowing view and direct beach access, you really couldn’t dream of a more fantastic setting. It must be said that the house is on the smaller side, and while there is plenty of sleeping capacity, the dining table is very small with only two stools. If the weather does not permit sitting outside on the deck it makes for rather cramped quarters - we unfortunately felt that it was not a good fit for our group of 7 adults. Also of note, there is only one shower and one toilet, again making it a tougher fit for a larger group. Despite this our host Tracy was very kind, accommodating and responsive. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back as a smaller group of maybe 2-3 adults.

We were so pleased that we chose Claire and Wolfgang’s beautiful cottage for our 3 night stay in Dunedin. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated and furnished. Everything was so cosy and comfy - the beds, the lounge, the deck and outdoor setting - and it was super clean. It has the most wonderful deck and view over the rooftops to Dunedin Harbour and beyond. There are some steep stairs up from the city centre if you’re walking - which is within 10 mins walk - but you don’t get an outlook like that unless there is a hill involved! Loved our stay there!

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und sehr gut eingerichtet. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Betten sind komfortabel, die Frühstückszutaten äußerst schmackhaft und die Küche bestens ausgestattet. In Dunedin und auf der Otago Peninsula gibt es viel zu entdecken . Gelbaugenpinguine , Seelöwen und Albatrosse werden immer zu den besten Erinnerungen gehören . Unterkunft und Wohnung sind in jeder Hinsicht absolut empfehlenswert 😊 Immer wieder gern 😊

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

We spent a week in paradise! Big picture windows with a view of the ocean and beautiful surroundings almost made us not want to leave the house! Michelle’s home was beautifully decorated and so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed long walks on their beach which was easy to access from the house. This is truly a special place. We hope to return one day.

Our hosts & their Manager Jo were incredibly responsive / pro-active. Jo even let me know I'd left a piece of clothing behind, and I was able to pick it up before we departed from Dunedin (thanks Jo!). The location is absolutely perfect - away from the hustle & bustle of the Octagon, but very walkable, and only a 5 minute walk away from both the Octagon and almost all the local attractions. Even though it's situated by a busy road, we found that the suite was quiet. The suite was spotless and we loved the way it had been renovated & designed. Recommendations for restaurants were outstanding, and we had excellent food at all of them. A definite 5/5!

Great apartment! Not too far to walk to The Octagon. Great cafes in the warehouse district - short walk from accom. Has everything you need. Very lovely place to stay- would stay again.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and what a wonderful space we had above the double garage. Lovely views over the harbour, and a quiet tranquil rural space to unwind. It was a great one night getaway, with the charming town of Port Chalmers just a short drive away where we explored the beautiful art scene in the main street, and the amazing Maritime Museum. We would recommend for a short or longer stay. Thank you to Trixie and Mark for their awesome hospitality.

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

Jenny's Place was very comfortable and homely with a lovely ambience. It is very tastefully decorated and has a cute outdoor area. Perfect for having a wine or morning coffee.

I very much enjoyed my 2 nights at apt 4 of the terminus. The apartment was sparkling, well equipped and located within walking distance to a variety of stores, restaurants, museums, the wildlife tour depot and other sights. Antonia was proactive in meeting my needs, gave good instructions and was very responsive to my questions. She provided breakfast for my first morning there which made for a smooth start to the visit. If I ever get back to Dunedin I would definitely stay there!

We loved the city appartement in a industrial style. It was very spacious and modern. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed to be well equiped.

Es war einfach fantastisch bei Joanne und Bruce!!! Wir wurden wie Familienmitglieder aufgenommen. Joe hat uns u.a. mit Donats, Eiern und Eingekochtem verwöhnt. Unser Zimmer und unser eigenes Bad war einfach klasse. Etwas über das Leben als Schaffarmer zu erfahren, war super interessant. Alles in allen, bessere Gastgeber gibt es nicht. Ute und Roland

Pippa was an amazing host, she provided excellent facilities, and lots of yummy treats. Really loved the glass of rosé in the evening. The rooms were warm, it was cosy. Amazing views of the valley. Her animals and gardens were stunning. Highly recommend a stay here!

Gina made us feel right at home the second we stepped through the door. She was kind, caring, and open to any and all conversations. Her home is beautiful, well located, but also private and relaxing. The listed room is comfortable and cosy, and was absolutely beyond what we could have expected. Gina also provided us with a lovely breakfast both mornings we had the privilege of staying - including some delicious tomatoes from her own garden!! We had an incredible stay here and would highly recommend anyone stop by here for a rest on their adventures if they have the opportunity.

Lovely stay, all the extra touches were amazing and so appreciated. Breakfast was great & the local raspberries cherries & blueberries were delicious. We loved the port crackers & cheese. Thank you for your hospitality.

Greg’s place is exactly what you need — a tidy, clean place to sleep. But Greg is the ideal host. He was the most friendly and hospitable host ever. Yet, he is not intrusive. His farm provides a delightful respite from the city —yet just minutes away. He kindly introduced us to several of his farm animals (alpacas and horses) and joined us on a stroll to the ocean cliffs just up the hill from his property to view his sheep. The views of the coastline were truly stunning. If you want, his cat Buster (who is a good judge of character) will keep you company. I can highly recommend this as the best value of our entire holiday.

Vi havde et virkeligt dejligt ophold hos Ulrike og Manfred på Stewart Island. Værterne var imødekommende og gav os fine tips og anbefalinger, så vi kunne få maksimalt ud af vores ophold. Vi havde gerne boet længere tid, hvis det havde været muligt for os. Vi kommer gerne tilbage!
