Lovely property, friendly hosts, and comfortable accommodations. We really enjoyed our stay at Jilly and Ken Bob’s! We were looking for a spot in the country where we could let our dogs off leash. We explored the grounds during the day and went back out at night to enjoy the stars. It was amazingly peaceful and just what we needed. The dogs were in heaven and loved their new doggie friends too :)

It was soooo clean. That’s the most important thing to me and it was spotless. The decor was so beautiful and the wood work was gorgeous.

Cozy place with a lot of charm & neat amenities. Close to Marinette/Menominee & easy commute to amazing hiking. Would happily stay here again!

Great place to stay with a few families for a hockey tournament in Canada. Plenty of space and big kitchen to cook and relax around

Very beautiful location and a very short drive from downtown Charlevoix. It took a few minutes of walking to get from Cabin 1 to the main cabin where we could charge our devices and use the bathroom, which we didn't mind too much since it was a short stay. If you'd enjoy a camping-like experience with a comfy bed and no bugs, this is a great place to stay! Carl was also super helpful and responsive :)

Unique find is right!!! Cozy and quiet. The space you get for the money you spend is unheard of in this world. Bedding was incredibly comfortable. Plenty of towels available. Lenore and Scott made us feel very welcomed and so did their animals. We are definitely coming back next year! Very clean throughout the whole loft! We felt so safe and slept so hard! Coffee and snack bar was so thoughtful. Lenore put a nice booklet together so you have most of your questions answered. These hosts were amazing people and I feel like we have just met our friends for life since we have so much in common with them. If you are looking for a country setting in a safe, clean, comfortable environment then stay here! Beautiful area and easy access. They have the guess work out of where to park even with the clearly marked signs. Their sweet barn kitty was our greeter when we got out of our vehicle. We just truly loved this stay! Thank you Scott and Lenore for sharing your lovely space with us!

We had a good time and enjoyed the space. Convenient quarter mile off the highway so a quick zip up to Iowa City. Private and spacious lodgings which were plenty for our family of three. Only place where I’d knock off points is the aroma. Do know that the house is attached to a horse barn—as in you can see it through the downstairs window—so expect an adjustment period to that smell. Wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but I guess I didn’t read closely about that. I suppose it’s a true farm vibe that way! All in all a quality stay.

I had such a peaceful time. The space is so unique and lots to discover within. It was very private. The sauna, hanging bed, massive plants, musical instruments, wood stove, climbing rope, are only a few of the highlights. I will be back for sure.

We had so much!! Had ~8 inches of snow overnight which we—and our dog—spent the whole weekend playing in across the very large lot. Super cozy space with fully equipped kitchen. We also really appreciated being accommodated on check in. Highly recommend!

I love the Farm Shed...it feels like you have rented a wee home of your own and it's nestled in a serene farm setting...quiet, contemplative and cozy. The friendliest cat was a bonus.

Perfect escape—Mike and Sheila are wonderful hosts, and responsive to questions. The setting of the Mill is breathtaking. I travel globally, and this was probably the coziest place I ever been (note—I was very comfortable, even in the -17F temperatures!). Nice linens, great little kitchen, pristine bathroom, and a notably flattering bathroom mirror! On this jaunt, I was a solo (female) traveler, and felt perfectly at ease. I was visiting to do some writing, and the Driftless views from every window inspired me. Yes! I will be back!

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite stay along the way! The airbnb was warm, cozy and just as pictured, while the instructions to get in from Barb were also clear. We were able to cook and comfortably watch TV from bed. We were encouraged to come visit the goats in the morning before leaving, and it was truly the cherry on top to see them and pet the barn cats before making our way on the road. We felt very welcomed here, and would definitely come again!

My boyfriend & I loved staying at Jennifer’s place! Jennifer provided very detailed instructions as well as a bunch of recommendations of restaurants & places to visit in the area. The airbnb was cozy & very clean. We loved the hot tub & the sauna- probably the highlight of our visit! We just want to thank Jennifer for all her guidance and work put into her beautiful barn. We hope to come back sometime in the summer!

I've stayed in Tara and Kevin's sweet little barn loft several times and will definitely continue to stay there in the future. It's super comfortable, clean, and cozy. Such a nice respite to look forward to on my drive. When the weather changed my plans at the last minute on this trip, Tara and Kevin were kind enough to allow me to be flexible with my dates. Also, I love the addition of the bed-warmer--so perfect for a cold winter night. I highly, highly recommend this special place.

The Candy Apply Cottage was a wonderful cozy getaway. My partner and I enjoyed the homey feel of the cottage and despite a snow storm there was still much to do. We took full advantage of the games and movies Linda had for us indoors and were also able to take a nice long walk around the snowy community. We also really enjoyed seeing some wildlife during our stay. Linda was a great, responsive host and we’d love to come stay again!

Such a cute place! A great combo of rustic country and bright and modern. We schvitzed, walked in the woods and had a very fun time with the alpacas! 🦙

Beautiful restored country farm house with all the modern convenience. Sarah, the host, was friendly and helpful and willing to work with our travel schedule. I plan to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Falcon Overlook!! Arrived on Superbowl Sunday, and they already had the pregame show on the TV for us! The views were beautiful, and it was so quiet! We were given mini muffins and bagels for breakfast which was so thoughtful. The barndominium was super cozy despite the 20 something temps outside. The area has everything you could want. We will be back…this was one of our top 5 favorites, and we’ve been to approximately 25 Airbnb’s!!

I will continue coming back to Stephanie’s place! The hosts are kind, responsive, and friendly. They have gone the extra mile numerous times to help our stay be memorable. There were fresh flowers in the house for us when we arrived, and they even introduced us to their baby lamb that was born in their barn while we were there!

Very clean and comfortable. Instructions throughout to make sure that we knew how to use everything properly.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Enjoying the hot tub on a cold snowy day was an experience. Accommodations had everything you needed, with clear instructions. My favorite feature was the wood fireplace! Would stay again if I come back to Lucan.

I would highly recommend Ryan’s place for anyone traveling to the Marquette area. Ryan was very friendly & helpful, the space was just as described, check in was easy with great instructions and the area was beautiful. Ryan and his family live above the Airbnb but you could hardly hear them. The space was comfortable and well stocked with everything you would need. I definitely plan to return next time I’m in the area.
