The lakehouse was clean and very comfortable. It was so cozy using the pellet stove for heat and the house has a lot of natural light. I felt very relaxed staying here and slept well at night. The views of the lake are stunning, especially down at the dock. Our kids enjoyed going down to watch the sun rise and we enjoyed a campfire one evening as a family. Everything you need to know is clearly stated beforehand (like there being a lot of steep steps to get down to the lake and needing to bring your own drinking water), so there are no surprises. I appreciate the hosts providing so much important information up front so we didn’t have any issues or questions during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights at Cheryl & Kyle's. Beautiful sunsets, dips in the lake, hot tub, sauna, well equipped kitchen, AC, ... A great perch to enjoy what the county has to offer! Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommended!

The cottage is a beautiful haven of tranquility. The type of place that doesn’t come along very often - if at all! You are surrounded by nature and just steps down to Lake Erie. The sights and sounds of this biodiverse area are your literal backyard, but you’re also close to good food, small to mid town shopping, and some pretty fantastic museums (Maritime museum and Erie Art Museum were highlights). Joan is a total sweetheart: she meets you and makes you feel immediate welcome. She will even cook you a homemade breakfast one morning of your stay. Beyond the amazing hospitality, you will get the sense that Joan actually CARES. Something so rare in our world. And it is on this note that I would return again and again. Best place ever to locate out of for Erie Lake Marathon @ Presque Isle Park!

Great communication & beautiful stay! We loved the cozy atmosphere and lake views. <10 minute drive to “downtown” Ithaca with lots of little shops, great restaurants, and hikes. Thanks for a great stay!

Great getaway on the lake, the view was better than most of the wineries in the area.

We had a wonderful valentine's/Birthday getaway, the hot tub was amazing, and the sauna was great! Had a couple evening fires and settled down with a movie, we went out for dinner one night and relaxed the rest of the time. The location was perfect making it very private and quiet. Even a bunny joined us outside, so cute! I would love to come here again in the summer as it's steps away from the beach! Thanks again for hosting us and we will recommend this place for sure!!

Idyllic gem on Georgian bay. Perfect for a small family getaway by the lake. The resort pool is a big plus for the kids. Beautiful surroundings and stunning sunsets. Jefferson is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. He kindly accommodated our request.

Riel’s cottage was just perfect!! If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet and an unbelievable rustic setting, this is the spot to stay in prince edward county. Everything you need all within 20km in every direction, beaches, wineries, small towns, farmers markets!! The grounds are just beautiful, amazing flowers, lots of fruit producing trees!! There are chickens just next door as well that lay wonderful eggs for the guests 😃😃. Lots of amazing birds to wake up to as well and a small family of chipmunks 🐿️ ( maybe pack some peanuts in the shell). They will be all over you 😄. The cottage has everything you need inside and a wonderful BBQ outside to enjoy a wonderful meal on the front deck in the open air!! Highly recommend Riel’s place for a quiet country get away 🇨🇦❤️

We loved how Jessica had decorated her place. It was very comfy and welcoming. The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located. We will definitely return!

Very quiet and peaceful little bungalow stay. We went in the off-season, but we enjoyed our stay and dining at Greenbush brewery and Journeymen distillery. Bungalow had everything you needed to feel right at home!

The Bungalow on the Lake was everything we were looking for, for an impromptu getaway for our anniversary. The Bungalow was filled with eye appealing character. An open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Warm and inviting from the moment you walked through the door. All the amenities as noted. A responsive Host. Walking distance to lake Como. Quick driving distance to Lake Geneva. Quiet neighborhood. Wildlife. We absolutely loved our Stay. Zan was quick to respond with any questions. Our weekend was filled with 80 degree weather on Friday, Strong Storms in the early morning of Saturday. Lost neighborhood power Saturday morning. And an unexpected snowfall of 4 plus inches on Sunday morning. Through it all Zan checked in with us, assured us that the utility company was working in the neighborhood, to Sunday assuring us that his team would be coming out to clear the snow. I cannot say enough about our experience. We had the best experience at the Lake! Steven & Christine

Rashad’s place was very homey and comfortable! The kitchen was stocked and the bathroom even had soap, shampoo and conditioner, and enough towels for 8 people. He was very communicative, we’re very grateful he allowed us to check in early. The place is about 30 minutes from the Loop but we didn’t mind since we had a car. The neighborhood felt safe and there was a great breakfast joint about 5 minutes away. Overall, my family and I had a great time and we would definitely return.

Great location, great house, and an exceptional host. Very pleased with our stay. Lovely home, well appointed, tastefully decorated and as described. Accessible, friendly host really made this stay for us. Beds we used we very comfy. Loved the seating options, plants and natural light from the beautiful windows. Very nice neighbourhood too. My family and I adored Ruth’s place. It was perfect for our family of 4. Convenient location to both the beach and the town. The cottage itself is lovely, cozy and great backyard space for family games etc. Ruth was super responsive and friendly. We will definitely return to this little gem. I loved the sauna! My only feedback would be considering adding info about emptying the ash try to help build a fire. Others might know this, but I couldn’t get it to start the first night but after googling it, & cleaning the ashes out it started & was amazing!!!!
