Such a lovely cottage and would say even better than the photos! Great that the river doesn’t have motorised boats and very quiet with just the one cottage further up. A little slippy to get in on the rocks but once you’ve done it once and got a route it is all good! Great communication from Yolanda with detailed instructions. Thank you!

Reiterating the other comments on amazing location, beach access, and views from deck. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and it made it so much more enjoyable to have kayaks and a paddle board for use. The location made it convenient for our group to come and go as we wanted, without the coordination of driving to the beach. It was a further drive from the most popular tourist attractions on the coast but we thought it was well worth the tradeoff. The lighthouse down the beach is also a great place to visit and one of the few lighthouses we found that weren't under renovation. I would make sure you understand that the majority of beds are twin with a single double bed, in case you come with couples. There was a slight miscommunication from the posting, in that it seems like the hosts would prefer not to use the top bunk beds unless required to for the number of people. Our kids were disappointed but quickly got over it for the beach experience.

Laura’s cottage was perfect for our group’s stay over the long weekend! A lot of care and attention was put into every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. We were greeted in the kitchen with a sweet and thoughtful welcome kit with goodies to be enjoyed throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare + enjoy meals together inside or on the balcony, with an exceptional view overlooking the lake (also a perfect spot to look up at the stars at night!). Laura was very responsive to answer any questions we had, checking in regularly, and never short of suggestions to make sure we had the best experience. Whether it be spending a few hours getting lost in a book on the hammock, or taking the kayaks/SUPs/canoe out for a row, Laura’s cottage had it all. The steps down to the dock are plentiful and definitely feel like a workout but the elevation really gives you that castle in the sky’ feeling, along with the breathtaking views in all directions. This place is a gem! 💎

We had a great long weekend at the house. Plenty big for 2 adults and 2 kids. And could easily do up to 6 people comfortably. Very peaceful in the woods. The property that it’s in is pretty impressive with rolling hills, golf courses, and walking trails. Having the pool and amenities in the clubhouse was a bonus. Was also a very short drive into Galena. Would definitely recommend this property if you’re looking in the area.

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

It's a lake house🏖 We were in town for a snowy, valentines day weekend with our dogs. Plenty of room was provided for our dogs, inside and out-off leash trained, no fences. We had a snowstorm over the weekend and it was easy to get to even in the snow(with a 4 wheel drive vehicle 😁). We would definitely stay here again, would love to explore the area in the summer ❤️

Amazing private basement if you have a couple families going on a trip and want some privacy. Host was fantastic in making sure we had everything we needed and worked with us in scheduling.

This was hands down the best Airbnb that I have stayed at. Everything went smoothly and we were very impressed with the lake house. This was such a perfect romantic getaway for us! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The space was excellently decorated, cleaned very well, and the temperature of the cottage was easily controllable. Also, the main floor washroom was very nice with heated floors and very strong shower pressure. I really appreciated the axe and the amount of firewood that was provided. It made starting a fire very easy and we were never short on kindling. Though, this is important to note for those with kids. We had planned to use the parking spots at the top of the hill due to snow in the forecast, but these were not usable since mud pits were created from snow melt and rainwater. Regardless, our SUV had no issues whatsoever with accessing the driveway of the lake house. We would 100% stay here again, such a great spot and an even better host!

We booked Krueger Cottage looking for a peaceful getaway. When we arrived the cottage was everything we hoped for an much more. Amazing craftmanship, peaceful and everything you need to either stay in and relax or visit the surrounding areas. We will definitely be back.

This place has it all! Very serene location. It was quiet and had beautiful views of the lavender fields. Oxford is a quick drive to the Amana colonies, Tanger Outlet Mall, Tiffin, and Coralville/Iowa City. Also there’s a huge park within 5 minutes with lakes and hiking trails. We visited the lavender shop, and it was really neat to learn about the distilling process and check out all the goodies. The blackberry lavender refresher was delightful. It was a wonderful stay, and we would absolutely recommend.

What an incredible weekend!! Bill was so very welcoming and his is place was amazing!! We enjoyed many libations and were even able to fancy a pontoon ride on beautiful lake. A picturesque setting in the woods with spectacular views and one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

My boyfriend and I rented out Dan’s treehouse for the weekend with our two dogs! The place was even better than expected! The treehouse was nice and cozy, we felt right at home. The property was so beautiful and private it was the perfect place to take our dogs. Treehouse has electricity and a comfortable bed! Great ventilation. The views are amazing. We loved the morning walks down to the grilling/Firepit area where you find the house with the half bath access. That was so nice to be able to use a half bath during your stay. The outdoor shower with hot water was also such a perk! Dan sent details video instructions on how to use it and followed up with emails explaining any other details/info about the property and things to do! Outdoor grill area with the sink was so convenient to prepare any and all meals! We were interested in going up to Traverse city during our stay but fell in love with the quiet private area that we decided to stay there the entire time! Would return!

We had a very nice weekend in Huntsville at the Aux Box and were very happy with the accommodations

I had a restorative, wonderful stay at Wild Rice Retreat! It was one of the best little trips I have ever taken. The accommodations were fantastic, the meals were exceptionally delicious, the staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. Cannot wait to visit again!

What a gem of a spot! The yurt was so peaceful - waking up to the sound of the creek, the smell of the wood-burning stove, leaves rustling, and birds chirping; nature at its finest. Such a great spot for the perfect weekend getaway. The yurt itself was cozy, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The wood-burning stove kept it warm and inviting, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The rustic yet charming décor added to the experience, and the skylight was a fantastic touch - falling asleep under the stars and waking up to soft morning light was magical. The space was well-stocked with everything we needed while still allowing us to unplug and enjoy the simplicity of nature. There’s so much to enjoy, not only in the yurt but in the local area as well. The hospitality that Hillsgrove offers is delightful. The Hillsgrove Hotel, the Mercantile, and the High Knob Inn are all worth visiting for good food and good drinks.

This was my second stay and Guy is just great. Love to feel in the middle of no where but be so close to all the fun of the finger lakes wine trail. The cabin is beautiful and truly relaxing!

Picturesque surroundings and the quaint and homey feeling of the guesthouse made for a perfect little get away! Hernan was an expert in showing us around the property and how everything worked, incredibly friendly and very generous.

Sue and Cy's treehouse was incredibly scenic, comfortable, and relaxing! They were very communicative throughout our entire stay and provided a list of local recommendations. When I accidently locked the keys in the dock shed, they made an impromptu visit to the treehouse to help me retreive it! I highly recommend staying here and am already looking forward to my next visit back!

Me and my partner had a really lovely weekend away here at Jennifer’s. She was very friendly, really helpful and accommodated to us a later check-out when we asked. Very much recommend.
