Dieses Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, sehr groß, super ausgestattet und hat einen sehr modernen Hot Tub mit Blick auf Islandpferde und den Fjord. Manchmal kann man vom Esstisch aus ein Schiff im Fjord sehen. Wir hatten zwar Pech mit dem Wetter, aber hier lässt es sich aushalten! Ausflüge zum Godafoss und Myvatn mit Geothermiegebiet Hverir können wir empfehlen. Auch das Flugzeugmuseum in Akureyri war interessant. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen!

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

La casa di Holmfridur Sólveig è perfetta per un soggiorno nel nord dell’Islanda. La casa ha tutto: cucina completa di tutto, bel bagno, bella vista e per di più c’è anche una vasca esterna di acqua calda geotermica. Posizione ottima. Grazie

We really enjoyed staying here. The views are fantastic , lovely hot tub too. We booked whale watching and also drove out to myvatn, and stopped at lots of features along the way. It was all really easy from the house.

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Airbnb and location where we were able to sit, relax and watch the northern lights over Christmas and New Year period, for me and all my family. The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.

Bel emplacement à proximité de Akureyri, au calme, avec vue sur le fjord depuis la maison et le hot tube. Propice aux aurores boréales. Hôte accueillant et réactif. Nous recommandons.

Our first Air BnB thatcame with smiles and handshakes! Helga and her husband are not only great hosts but great people as well. The communication back and forth was quick and easy. Any question we we got an answer instantly... and follow her directions not google! The farm is on one of the most beautiful pieces of land with the most outstanding views, yet a very short to town, grocery store, etc. The space had everything we needed, including a very spacious shower with hot water for days! The bed was very comfy but our favorite room was the living area with all the awesome views. My husband and I now have a joke that Helga turned on the Northern Lights for us... after 8 nights in Iceland with no lights we were able to experience this phenomenon right out the front door. Thanks Helga! Don’t hesitate to book when staying in Akureyri, we hope to be back again one day!

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.

Das Haus ist einfach wundervoll. Wir hatten 3 tolle Tage im Haus und konnten die Wale beobachten. Für uns war dieses Haus ein Highlight in Island. Immer wieder gerne…Danke dafür!

We had a great time at Óli and Bianca’s wonderful home, inside the house has so many introductions about this beautiful land and we admire Bianca’s amazing handcraft. We bought some jam too, it’s so good as well! We did enjoy the time there!

Wonderful, quiet, close to all amenities, well equipped basement apartment. Great location, quiet street, charming hosts. Greatly appreciated fragrance free linen and towels!

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Akureyri. Everything we wanted to do was in easy walking distance. Several restaurants and bars too. 10 mins walk to the public swimming pool and 15 to a large supermarket. The accommodation was over two floors and really comfortable. WiFi was great. Check in was really easy and Petur (the host) was really helpful.

Very nice apartment, very clean, well equipped. You’ll find everything you need here. They even have a washing machine and dryer (shared with 2 other apartments) available. We had a very nice stay here and the owners have a very friendly dog who loved to be petted. The airbnb is located very conveniently, close to Húsavík, Akureyri, Mývatn and a lot of sightseeing places. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Sweet place. The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is cozy. Beautiful view on the lake, we were lucky to see the amazing Northern Lights straight from the terrace. What a luxury ! Great large space on the 1st floor. Our teenagers enjoyed a lot to have their space. Looking forward to come again.

The place is nice, we just spent the night there. You won’t find other places nearby actually :). The communication was clear and timely. Check in was good, although we needed to dig with shovels a bit as there was a lot of snow in from of the door (but we kinda liked it). The interior is simple but we had everything we needed.
