Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet und im Wohnzimmer gab es einen Ventilator. Restaurants waren nicht sonderlich viele in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber mit dem Tuktuk kommt man schnell und billig überall hin. Am zweiten Abend wurden wir mit einer kleinen Mahlzeit überrascht.

The stay at King reach (Dulitha's place) was fantastic. The villa is the perfect place to unwind after traveling a long distance. Especially the garden is just beautiful. The communication was also very nice and Dulitha is extremely helpful. The caretaker Wimalasena is very kind and always available. His care and support for guests is next-level. The large ancient lake (Nuwara wewa) built by kings (in front of the property) adds a massive value to the property. The location provides easy access to all the main places in Anuradhapura. Also it is a very calm and peaceful place to relax with your family. The kitchen is equipped with all the facilities and tools we need. The beds are very comfortable and clean. All in all the location is very Safe and comfortable. kids friendly too. We would come back anytime! Thank you for the unforgettable time! Thank you so much for hosting us.

I visited Sri Lanka for a holiday with my family, and we stayed one night at Saman’s place. The location was very convenient for traveling to nearby pilgrimage sites. The place matched the Airbnb pictures perfectly. Saman was very welcoming, ensured we were comfortable, and provided helpful information about the area. I highly recommend Saman’s place to the Airbnb community.

Wir hatten eine sehr besondere Zeit bei Tharaka. Wir würden die Unterkunft vor allem empfehlen, wenn du auch Lust hast nicht nur Zeit alleine zu verbringen, sondern tiefgründige Gespräche zu führen und dich selbst auf einer anderen Ebene kennenzulernen. Tharaka hat zudem viele tolle Tipps gegeben (wo lohnt es sich Eintritt zu bezahlen, wo kann man umsonst spannende Orte sehen) und uns auch zu einem Mantragesangsabend mitgenommen. Im Gartenzimmer hat man eine kleine Küche, aber auch im Haupthaus kann man eine Küche mitbenutzen. Einzige Nachteile: viele Mücken und sehr heiß (trotz Ventilator). Aber da kann die Unterkunft nicht so viel dafür.

Elite Holiday Home is great base to go and explore Anuradhapura. The apartment is set in a leafy quiet suburb. It has two bedrooms with two large comfortable beds in each room with A/C and ensuite. The owners during our stay were always available, friendly, and very helpful as they helped arrange a driver to take us around the ancient city.

Excellent endroit, on se croirait en pleine forêt. Les maisons sont très agréables, un séjour inoubliable. Personnel très gentil et très à l’écoute ! Nous sommes arrivés très très tard et nous avons été remarquablement accueillis. Petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux !

Vous aimez les beaux endroits, les hôtels 5 étoiles, vous aimez qu on vous reçoive avec courtoisie et générosité avec un tout petit prix alors n allez pas plus loin, vous avez l endroit que vous cherchez à Anuradhapura ! Depuis 11 ans je fais des réservations avec Airbnb et jamais je n avais été aussi bien servi a si bas prix . Devika et son mari prennent soin de vous comme personne… le logement est tout neuf, d une grande propreté avec un petit salon dans l entrée puis la cuisine… à gauche vous avez la chambre avec un superbe King size bed à baldaquin. La literie est excellente, les draps et couettes blancs sont à chevrons … superbes ! Le petit déjeuner fait par Devika est royal ! Vous aurez du mal à tout manger tellement il y en a … Vous vous régalez et vous n aurez plus faim de la journée ! En plus Devika vous trouvera un guide expérimenté si besoin et vous prêtera son vélo ! Un immense merci à Davika pour m avoir reçu exceptionnellement bien! Ne ratez pas ce superbe endroit !
