We had a lovely family weekend away at Scott’s place, the place was lovely and clean & Scott was on hand to answer any questions we had. The hot tub and games room were a really lovely bonus and enjoyed by all of us would definitely recommend this place but as other reviews also say the stairs are something to be aware of they are narrow and steep more like climbing a ladder in our opinion although we managed fine! We didn’t find our bed the most comfortable but I think that’s down to personal preference & the only other thing I could note is that the kitchen is very well equipped but had no empty cupboard to be able to put food away (again wasn’t a problem just personal preference) thanks for an amazing stay ☺️ overall a really lovely place!

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

We had a fantastic stay at the house for a family get together and celebration. The house was in a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks. The garden area was a fantastic space for all the dogs to run around safely outside of the house. The house was spacious with lovely bright and sunny rooms and space for a cot for our 15 month old grandson. Coral made us feel very welcome with chocolates, wine and flowers awaiting us on arrival. Coral was also very helpful and responded very quickly whenever we contacted her during our stay. Thank you so much to Coral for making our weekend very special and we would definitely recommend the house to family and friends. We had a lovely stay. The highlight has to be the fabulous hot tub, what a treat. Also getting to meet the cows and helping feed them, my grandson loved that. The kitchen was well stocked with utencils and equipment, we managed to make a Christmas dinner with the full works. Whilst there we had a meal at the local pub and used a farm shop. We also visited a beach less than 40 minutes away. My kids loved the piano and had an awsome game of hide and seek, theres some great hiding spaces! Thank you Emma for being so understanding about the extra Christmas rubbish we created.

Where to start! From the day of booking beverley messaged me straight away and instantly you can tell that as a host she has a kind and helpful nature! The location is stunning and so peaceful and well worth the money, the goats and sheep are such a unique feature being literally a fence apart from the cottage garden and hot tub! With winter coming the heating was already on so the second we walked in the door it was very cosy. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thankyou to beverley for the snack selection and presseco it truly made our stay more welcoming.

Liz's country cottage was truly a perfect hideaway for our long weekend getaway (Mar 28-31, 2025). From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and tidy everything was, both inside the house and throughout the grounds. The property itself is absolutely beautiful - exactly as advertised and even more charming in person. The location is stunning, providing the perfect peaceful countryside setting for a relaxing escape. We had an amazing 4 days here, and the comfort and beauty of this cottage played a significant role in making our stay so memorable. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident. I would highly recommend Liz's cottage to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a beautiful location. We hope to return again soon!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The cottage was much bigger than I expected and extremely homely. Chloe-Louise had thought of everything from soft dressing gowns in the bathroom to fresh eggs in the kitchen. Both bedrooms are large with en-suites and a log burner in the lounge. The weather was cold but the enclosed garden was perfect for our chihuahua to run around in. Would love to stay here again.

Fantastic little spot in Southwold just back from the coast. Feels very secluded but with everything on your door step. Lots of character and feels incredibly homely. Beds are a bit on the small side, but completely fine for a short stay. Would highly recommend for exploring Southwold and the surrounding areas.

Another lovely stay at the cottage. Beautiful home from home. Thoughtful added touches fresh flowers treats catering for dietary needs extras in the bathroom and sleep spray too. Set in peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed some quiet time to relax and enjoy the beautiful suffolk coastline. Thankyou

I stayed at jens whilst working locally. It’s situated in a beautiful part of Suffolk,extremely quiet and peaceful.the accommodation was as described giving a real homely feel.i can’t fault the service I received at all and would gladly stay there again.highly recommended.

We had a lovely 4 night stay (2 adults and 1 toddler). Matthew was very responsive, helpful and provided excellent recommendations prior to our arrival. The goodies on arrival were a lovely touch! The garden and open woods were peaceful and private. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We felt very at home. Lots of take aways available on deliveroo and we cooked a full English one day. The local pub - chequers - fantastic for dinner! Thanks very much for your warm hospitality :)

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

A perfect stay! Very lovely, clean cottage. Perfect to stay with a dog. Small shop opposite the house so very convenient if you forgot something and don’t want to drive to the big shop. There is also a lovely farm-shop nearby. It was very peaceful and quiet. Perfect relaxing gateway. Only 3 miles to Southwold (it took us 10 mins to get there by car). It was very comfortable, we stayed as a couple with a medium size dog. There is also some garden furniture, so you can have a lovely meal in the garden! Tom was very helpful, I got a flat tire on the way to the cottage and he recommended a garage to get it fixed, was super speedy and they were very flexible. Will definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful countryside setup. Paul and Jane are exceptional hosts, with a simply amazing holiday village. The cottage is pristine and attractively decorated, with the outside bath being a particularly great feature overlooking beautiful fields. We went in Spring but I can only imagine how amazing it is when the yurts are full, the place is full of life and in mid-summer. Surrounding area is full of beautiful spots, you won’t be stuck for things to do. We will be returning for sure. Thanks for having us Paul and Jane, and being such great hosts! Our children didn’t want to leave 🙏😅

We had a very nice three nights stay at smithy cottage which is in an ideal rural location near to Norwich and the Broads. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Tanya is an excellent host and provided a welcome pack of wine, a range of nibles, cereals, eggs and milk.

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location: opposite the pub and just down from the community run village shop. The cottage was beautifully clean and had everything we needed, and more! As mentioned in other reviews, a couple of the doorways are quite low and I bumped my head a few times - I'm 5' 10". If you're of a certain age and need to visit the bathroom during the night, you may like to know that it's downstairs! It was my wife's first visit to the Broads and we'll definitely be coming back soon!

Peace. It was just what we needed. The cottage was equiped with all we needed. Beautifly clean and the bed was not only a decent size but very comfy too. A win win. King size bed. The Spring bulbs were up & a rabbit visited us daily. Lovely to sit out and watch the sun go down. Parking just beside the cottage. All on flat ground. Did i say how peaceful? Thank you so much to Amy and Ben.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Lovely, clean and welcoming. Set in a beautiful location and the accommodation has been finished to a high standard. Beds are super comfy, WiFi and heating were amazing and everything we needed was available. Only problem we should have booked 4 nights ;)
