Our overnight stay at Gerard's place was excellent. Very idyllically located, he has created a green oasis where you can only feel comfortable. The accommodation was super clean, with everything you could need. Secluded and private. A delicious breakfast was provided, featuring fruit and jam from his own garden. The next morning, we enjoyed an exclusive tour of the 4-hectare garden. Absolutely recommendable!

A lovely, peaceful little stay! Perfect little home away from home while we were traveling. The owner was kind enough to let our dog have a run in the paddock which was wonderful. And the owner's two dogs, Blue and Rocket were absolute sweeties. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through!

The accommodation is to the rear ground floor of the building directly of State Highway 1, but there was very little road noise. The accommodation was both spacious and private and we had the choice of either bedroom. It is just a room so there are limited facilities but you could make a drink or snack. Kylee was a very responsive and friendly host. She is not on site but responds quickly to communications. Timaru itself is a coastal town with good supermarkets and restaurants but if your timing is good, you can see penguins coming in to roost at dusk at, Caroline beach, by the port.

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

Rachel's place was lovely and quiet. nice outside area to sit and enjoy the sun. really cozy and comfortable

Great place to stay. Great location. Nice and clean. Appreciated the fruit, milk and cookies from the host. Clear instructions for check in, check out and usage of the appliances.

Surrounded by amazing views with great star-gazing and sunrises over Timaru. Jillian was very responsive and accommodating when some trip details happened to change. Much appreciated and would happily stay again

An Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was immaculately clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect and quiet, yet with easy access by car to surrounding areas and nearby cafes, and shops. We truly felt like we were staying in a home away from home. I can't recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again on our next trip!

Pretty easy location to find, private which suited us with classic cars. Great with communication & felt it was a decent price.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again
