Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

We stayed here for a double birthday celebration and loved it so much! Great view of the lake and sunset (stayed in March before the trees had leaves), absolutely loved all the amenities including the golf cart to make an easy trip to the lake and back. We used the kayaks a lot and loved the hot tub- a perfect way to unwind. The grill, and blackstone are great additions as well as the kitchen! We cooked most of our food and couldn’t find anything to store leftovers in but otherwise found the kitchen to be very well equipped including basic spices. Parents with kids: The screened in porch has hook locks on both doors which was great for keeping our 1.5 yr old safely contained. The hill to the lake is steep and windy but the golf cart worked well! There were a few kid lifejackets which was amazing and they also have a step stool, pack and play and high chair. We hope to be back again!

This was the perfect spot for our trip. A friend of mine and I brought our teenage sons for a quick weekend snowboarding trip, and needed somewhere with three sleeping areas. The loft had 2 beds and a fully bath which was exactly what we needed for the boys. It was super convenient to everything with a shuttle stop right out front. Plenty of parking, great amenities, clean, and easy to find! Also very cozy! We’ll definitely return!

I am so glad we chose this spot to enjoy for a little getaway outside of Charlottesville! The place was spotless and had all the amenities you could ask for! We loved having the hot tub to enjoy at the end of the night and the unforgettable view of the mountains. Jamie was responsive and gave clear instructions for the place and the pictures were very accurate to the place! About a 15 minute drive from the heart of the city and SO close to various wineries/cideries and other activities. Highly recommend this spot!!

Beautiful home, responsive and helpful host. Wonderful place to stay for our family of 4 with everything you'd need in a home away from home. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again - as a bonus for the early risers the sunrise over the mountains was amazing.
