If you’re looking for a unique experience outside of a standard hotel room, this could be a great choice. John, the host, was very responsive and was so kind to give us a tour of this unique property. The large home is being renovated, the owner lives upstairs and does the handy work himself. The downstairs area is currently the Airbnb section with its own entry. John is an accomplished retired Purdue professor with an interesting and impressive background. We enjoyed the uniqueness and tranquility of the property and enjoyed meeting John. The teenagers enjoyed having the pool table for entertainment.

Lori was a great host. Communicates well and clearly. Made the process very easy. Place was comfortable and quiet. The mattress was very comfortable. Unit is in an older neighborhood but we felt safe. Rental was very clean and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Easy trip to Purdue as well. Thanks Lori for a great stay!

The space was perfect for my needs and the overall vibe was very peaceful. Their place has beautiful woodwork and lots of windows to let the sun shine in. The train showed up as described and I got so I actually looked forward to it's short and quick trip past. Jim and Becky were fantastic, helpful, and fun to communicate with. Great experience!

Great location for easy access to Lafayette and Purdue. Coffee house was walkable and served excellent breakfast to get our day started. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Host was helpful and responsive. Overall enjoyed our stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Cheryl was responsive and the house is in a great shape inside,- clean and spacious. It is also with 10 min of car ride from Purdue and fine minutes form many restaurants. Highly recommend it!

Erin was absolutely amazing to deal with. Was clear and friendly in her communications with us, and always responded promptly. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we were not able to stay at Erin's place. It will be our go-to place next time we need somewhere to stay in West Lafayette.

Great location that’s close to campus! Our family and pups loved the house. A little snafu with the lock on the front door checking in but overall a great stay! Highly recommend.

Place has a really great vibe. The spaces, furniture and beds were remarkably comfortable. Sometimes you wonder about renting from a new rental but do not hesitate. It’s great.

Sharon's place was well kept with a beautiful backyard. It was a wonderful stay for our family! Sharon also communicated promptly and was helpful.

Great for a stay while visiting our daughter at Purdue. We loved being able to walk to all kinds of shops and restaurants. Super clean. It is on the 2nd floor with no elevator, so you do need to climb a flight of stairs. Bed was super comfortable. You can definitely hear traffic because you’re downtown. We already have 2 more visits booked with Burt!

great location in lafayette just off main street. 6th street is quiet. unit is very uniqely decorated and very clean. the kitchen and supply room are stocked with everything you need. beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are great. it'a little unsettling to receive auto-text messages about noise detector levels while playing board games with my 82yo father-in-law 😃. but jason seemed to understand that the goal is just to be reasonable & respectful of the building's community, because the building is all hard surfaces that transmit noise easily. main street area has several great restaurants. the 'lobby' is awesome for coffee & breakfast. for dinner: nomnom & black sparrow are great. pizza uncommon has amazing neopolitan crust for takeout. definitely walk west on main, over the pedestrian bridge to west lafayette, & up through purdue's campus.

I was torn between a 4 or 5 star review, but I felt like it was accurately described so it deserved the 5. It was great for the cost! The location was PERFECT for being in downtown Lafayette and we walked to food easily (highly recommend The Lobby for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner) and 2 miles from the Purdue Union. The condo was very clean, but just had a bit of a musty smell that led us to leaving the window open for a while. This is true for every old apartment/condo I’ve ever been inside in the area, so I didn’t feel that it deserved a change in star and likely there’s nothing that the host can do to change it. Easy to find, but the key pad took a couple tries to get the numbers to all light up. The parking spot was great and very close, but I’d advise backing in because overnight people parked against the building across from the spot and it was difficult to get out. The pillows were a little thin, but the bed was comfortable. The walls were a little thin, but pretty typical
