This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

Am Anfang war es etwas mulmig in einem Castle zu Wohnen Aber alles sehr schön.Sehr sauber und alles mit Liebe gemacht.Morgens wird man vom Hahn 🐓 geweckt 😉 Waren mit 7 Personen dort. Kein Telefon Empfang dafür aber WLAN zum Planen der Touren. Ein Ort mitten in der Natur sehr schön Ruhe Entspannung . Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt 😀

Calling the Flora Apartment "home" for the duration of our stay was the best decision we made for our trip! All of us lived extremely comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that come with your stay. The property was nothing short of beautiful and the location could not have been beat! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and do hope to again myself!

Stay here was absolutely amazing there is stunning scenery and the lodge is beautiful. It is perfect place for a get away and to really turn off and relax. Allison was an amazing host so friendly and very helpful. We can’t wait to come back in the future !

Lovely flat in one of the wing of a beautiful castle. The flat is very spacious , with beautiful views in a very quiet place. lovley to start some nice walks. The Isle of Mull has a lot on offer: standing stones, cafes, distillery, a munro to climb and beautiful beaches. so no time to get bored! I'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

What a fabulous barn conversion - clearly built with imagination, skill and much love. We felt very comfortable in this warm and spacious home from home. We were made to feel very welcome and given some excellent advice on the local area by our expert host - thank you.

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The location is perfect and overlooks the sea. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The communication from Nicky was excellent.

Perfect base for a week on Barra. House really well equipped, especially for cooking in the kitchen. Modern Scandi feel to the decor, with powerful hot showers and comfortable beds. We’d definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking location. Gorgeous views out every window. Very peaceful. Stanislaw and Lilian were extremely helpful and quick to respond to all questions. There was a beautiful basket of goodies awaiting us and croissants dropped off from the local bakery. We were treated like treasured guests. We were able to make 2 day trips into the Isle of Skye. This location is so close to Malaig ferry. We were able to get onto the 11 am ferry on stand by. We were there at the end of Sept and passed peak season. We ate lunch at excellent restaurant, The Cabin, Malaig. Outstanding seafood and service! We had a bit of an adventure. On our last day on Skye our rental car was starting to run low on fuel. We opted to skip stop at petrol station to catch ferry. There is a petrol station in Malaig very close to the ferry drop off, unattended, but open 24 hrs for credit pay at pump. All pumps were out of service. No other gas available for 40 mi. VERY NICE person at Arisaig hotel gave us gallon of gas!!!

The house was lovely, clean and bright and exactly as described. Claire who looks after it was very helpful and had left some essentials in the kitchen to get us started. The views over the loch are beautiful especially in the early mornings. We were able to bicycle everywhere from this location.

Stunning. An amazing place to stay set in fabulous landscape. Just sat an watched the sea, sunsets and wildlife for hours on end. Lots of walking and relaxing. Mark is the ideal host there if you need him.

We spent 4 great days at An lionadh. The house sits on top of a small hill with the best views of the sea. Getting to the island is relatively straightforward with the short ferry crossing a bit of an adventure that our kids loved. We were fortunate to visit over New Year and the residents had organised many activities from New Year’s Eve parties to football games and Ceilidhs on New Year’s Day to which they made us visitors feel very welcome indeed. The house itself is very well equipped with everything needed to enjoy a short stay. Overall I would thoroughly recommend An Lionadh.

This was our second stay here and we had a brilliant trip. John’s place is well equipped and has everything you need, even for a longer time away. We also made the most of the working space in the spare room which worked great. The recommendations for local days out and food were really useful and John was always a responsive host if we needed anything. Overall a really comfortable place to stay that we would highly recommend.

So relaxing, beautiful views and lots of things to do in the surrounding area. The sauna was excellent. Would go back for another visit.

Beautiful location so peaceful with wonderful scenery. The place had been done up which was a lovely surprise very modern, clean and had everything we needed. Loved our stay, great location to explore and lovely to come back to at the end of the day !

Outstanding property, incredible views of the loch. Newly refurbished property, really a treat. I have a small boat and used the Dock. Worked out better than expected. Sauna was great and a good end to a great day of fishing. Wood stove and new floor heating were a treat. The owner is terrific and really makes us feel at home. Just remember to stop at oban for essentials and petrol. Village shop is well equipped if you forget, just no petrol.

Jeanette was extremely welcoming. She communicated with me as I was getting near to the property and throughout the stay with some excellent suggestions. We followed her advice for New Year's Eve and it was one of the best nights we've had! The property is lovely and feels private. We couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better host. We hope to be back.

We had a fantastic week staying in Downey Birch cottage. It is an extremely cosy, comfortable, peaceful, and well equipped property; with stunning views of Arisaig and The Small Isles from almost every window! Its location is perfect being just a few minutes walk away from the Arisaig Hotel, marina, local shops, museum and other delicious eateries. As well as a short cycle or drive to the wonderful beaches, mountains and islands in this spectacular part of Scotland. Michael and Fiona are super hosts. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. We would most definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family; and we would love to stay again soon.

Gorgeous apartment furnished and decorated to a very high standard and equipped with absolutely everything you’d need (and more!) The little thoughtful touches made a real difference to us and made it very clear that Steven and Lynne really care and want you to feel at home here rather then just in a holiday let. The views from the apartment window are nothing short of spectacular, the peace, tranquility and clear night skies are truly exceptional and Steven’s local knowledge and guidance was much appreciated to help us make the most of our week here. We were genuinely so sad to leave this place but we left feeling inspired by Steven’s creative photography with no doubt that we’ll be back one day. I honestly cannot recommend Rockpool House enough. Thank you so very much!
