“I’ve been staying here for two weeks, and it’s been an amazing experience. Shanti’s room is super bright, with a huge window facing Arunachala, offering a great view. The place is really comfortable, and she keeps the apartment very clean. The location is perfect—just a 3-minute walk to Sri Ramanasramam, and right next to The Dreaming Café. In about 10 minutes, you can reach almost all the restaurants and supermarkets. Before I arrived, Shanti made sure to check all the details and even arranged my airport pickup before I got to India. During my stay, whenever I had any issues, she took care of them right away. She’s a very responsible host. If I visit Arunachala again, I’ll definitely come back to stay at Shanti’s apartment and enjoy my time here.”

Prasad's Homestay is a tranquil place for those seeking to stay in a peaceful place surrounded by nature. Mr Prasad is extremely sweet and helpful and made my stay comfortable. The whole place has a beautiful vibe, is clean and well maintained in every sense and I look forward to staying there more often!

We loved our two week stay here. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the ashram area and the space was just great. Really comfy bed and access to the roof terrace with amazing views of Arunachala. Kitchen is well equipped and there’s filtered water. You can walk to the ashram from here, but we rented a scooter to get around more easy. Hoping to return to Yashi’s place soon 🙏

The host was very reponsive and helpfull. They were continuously in touch with us till we reached location. They arranged us bike for rent was very helpful and really very much cheaper. People who are willing to do Giripradakshinam can utilise that. They recommended us some local places to visit. Kitchen was very clean and well maintained. Waterfilter, refrigerator, washing machine. They had given the bike even after check out and unfortunately it bacame late to come back but still they were very humble and charged nothing. Overall a good experience and highly recommend.

We stayed here during the Girivalam season wherein streets can get very crowded and chaotic at Tiruvannamalai. The temple is at a walkable distance from the property, is was very clean and located at peaceful location away from the noisy main road. The host, Aravind was extremely helpful, he allowed us an early check-in and even suggested the best time to visit the temple to avoid the crowd, this was very thoughtful gesture. The place feels secure, with the main gate locked at night. Overall, a calm and pleasant stay. Looking forward to staying here during the next visit as well!!

Best and affordable place

Sriraman is a great host. He was always available for and proactive in communication. He helped us with local transport contacts to visit Arunachaleshwar temple and also for Giri valayam. He was also kind enough to courier some articles that we forgot. the place is very clean and matches the photos in the listing. overall a very good stay in Arunachalam.

Prem is proactive and responsive I liked that the AC was spot on ,specially with the heat and humidity and the pradakshina. Kitchen had all the utensils and cutlery to make your own meals and even a knife sharpner which was a game changer for me!! The doors and windows had nets affixed to ward off bugs and mosquitoes Its tucked away a very short distance from the girivalam path and autos are amply available for those who dont hire a scooter We were in Room no 8. Thats a corner room so that gave us more privacy. The roof gives a partial view of the mountain and also a clothesline to dry laundry There is a laundry walking distance both for washing and ironing clothes What could be improved?...Perhaps the shower ,didnt have much water pressure,same for the flush Would i stay there again?Definately I wish Prem all the best !!
