We've just returned from our second stay at Debbie's beautiful property, and it won't be our last stay. If the views alone don't wow you, the property and the abundance of furry visitors to the garden will. The photos don't do this property justice. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, there's plenty of space, well laid out and stocked kitchen, and two toilets is always a bonus! It's a perfect place for a total switch off holiday. Debbie was very quick to respond to my questions, and is always friendly in her response. She very much cares about the guest experience. I cannot recommend this property enough, book it, you won't regret it!

We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries I would definitely recommend this gem of a place. With hot tub, barbecue room, twinkly lights and a log burner to relax in front of you can't go wrong.

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

An incredible stay right on the loch. Stunning views from the lounge window, and if you choose, from the hot tub too! Would recommend for a romantic get away or even with a bunch of friends as we did!

Beautiful cabin, amazing location, and relaxing spa. Loved arriving after a short drive following the challenging Lost Valley hike. Would stay again!

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

We enjoyed a walk around loch ,forest and hot tub. It was peaceful and relaxing holidays. The bed was comfy.

This is our third or fourth stay at Arthur's beautiful place. Always a first port of call for my stay's in Scotland. First time staying in the family barn and it was well laid out and equipped.

I always say I’d never go back to a place but I think The Old Croft House might be the exception! I simply loved it. We arrived just before sunset and continued to have amazing weather for the whole week. Some fantastic walks, Point of Sleat across such rugged terrain, breathtaking. The beach through the gate at the end of the garden felt so secret and special. The house itself had everything we needed. The blackout blinds were great, very comfy bed. Shower albeit it tiny was perfectly acceptable. I loved the print in the bathroom so much I went to the artists (Cath Waters) shop in Portree and got myself one.

This stay was just what we needed! Peaceful, beautiful views and a cosy cottage with a log burner that had pretty much everything we needed. Overall our stay was fantastic. Loved being lochside (the bench outside is perfect), exploring the area and having lots of lovely animals to view either in the loch or right next to the door. We were lucky enough to see any species of birds, seals, otters and even red squirrels!

We had a lovely few days at Achalic Beag Cottage. The house is warm and spacious with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The garden was a great size and fully enclosed - with spectacular views of the countryside. We had the most relaxing and peaceful time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tigh Beag. The house was well presented and met all our needs. There is a lovely large lounge and kitchen/dining room which is great for larger parties. There were only 3 in our party so the house gave us plenty of space to enjoy. It is in a beautiful setting and very quiet.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Rowan cabin. Everything was described in the listing and was just beautiful! The location was very peaceful and the cabin was very cosy and warm.

For the second time we did visit this hidden gem in the highlands. Grant and Laura are very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The house is perfect for a family of four. It has everything you need, including comfortable beds. With a little drive their are some great beaches with only few visitors. For a good hike try to climb the Resipole or one of the other mountains. On a clear day the views on top are second to none Lastly you can visit the restaurant at the Strontian hotel (aka Bothy bar) Great food, with an exceptional view. We did visit many spots in Scotland but Ardnamurchan is definitely our favourite. It is as beautiful as Skye but without the busloads of tourists

We loved our stay here. It is exactly as advertised and the views looking out across Loch Linnhe were stunning. It was perfect for what we needed. Andrew was a great host and helped us get settled nice and quickly. I’d recommend to anyone looking to visit Fort William and the surrounding area and would love to visit again myself!

We enjoy this cottage so much that this is the 3rd time we have been. The perfect place to relax.

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend James' place, it'll will be our first choice when we return. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. The view has to be one of the best in the area, I sat looking out at it, watching all the changes as the day moved on. We were lucky to watch a couple of dolphins playing in the wake of a fishing boat too. Thankyou James.

Fabulous stay on Lismore. The Bunkhouse is in a stunning setting and we loved that it was so comfortable, cosy but also environmentally sustainable. Mike was super helpful and gave us lots of helpful advice about things to do on the island. Can’t wait to go back!
