Beautiful private location but easy to access from airport. Amazing ocean view and sunsets. Right on the beach. Nice open layout. No washer/dryer or working oven, but there was a gas stove that worked, an air fryer and all needed cooking supplies and a dishwasher. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! Very clean. Restaurant next door was great.

After a bit of a mix up when we tried to access the place, everything else was perfect. The condo was even better than the pictures with ocean views from the main deck and the bedrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. The location is awesome with waves and quiet beach right in front and a short walk to surf and restaurants. The complex is extremely well maintained included the pools overlooking the beach. The place was quiet and relaxing and would be highly recommended for groups or families looking for a peaceful vacation.

We loved Heather's condo in Cerritos! The space was perfect for our needs, quiet, with a nice view from the balcony and hot tub! There were plenty of amenities in the kitchen and bathroom and extras like beach towels and blankets. The dog rescue coffee shop within walking distance was our favorite place to hang out in the morning! We highly recommend Heather's condo!

My buddy and I booked the two upstairs and the ocean views from the balcony is absolutely gnarly. Super clean. You can hear the ocean from your bed. Sunsets are amazing. Downtown is only a less than 10 minute drive. The walk to the sand and water from the place is less than 10 minutes too. When it gets too warm in the evening, turn on the AC and you'll do just fine.

Rachel & Alex's place lived up to all our expectations and more. It is located in a quiet and convenient location close to the beach and restaurants. We were particularly grateful for the washing machine and dryer as well as the beach umbrella and furniture. I would recommend their place to my family and friends and would definitely book it again if I should ever return to Cerritos Beach.

Look no further, this condo is the best. Perfect for families with kids of any age. This is the second time we have stayed in this unit and the third time we have stayed in the Puesta de Sol complex. It is 1 block from the beach and walkable to several restaurants or a super short drive to other restaurants and amenities. The complex is private and the ground floor apartment is also very private feeling because it has a fully fenced in patio (one of the few), which was essential to help contain our 2 toddlers before going in the pool. Private outdoor shower is a bonus and a hit with the kids. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated in a beachy theme. The apartment had even been updated with new quartz countertops and modern furnishings since our last visit. Beds were extremely comfortable. Hosts are top-notch, very accommodating to let us check out late and also to provide a pack n play for our little one. We look forward to visiting again!

The apartment was good for two people-spacious kitchen, comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. It was a little noisy from road traffic during the day but very quiet at night. It is located in a private complex which was well run by Mayra and her son. They were helpful and responsive. Location provided easy access to interesting local towns and beaches. We would stay here again.

This house was so unique. Very comfortable beds, Beautiful house. Construction next door was minimal.

Where to begin, we came to stay at Wendy’s because a few of us had been evacuated due to LA fires. Wendy went above and beyond to make the stay so enjoyable. The home is beautiful filled with charm and incredible views. The home is equipped with everything you could need. Also has a cute outdoor patio table and chairs with views of the ocean. Wendy was an amazing host, answering all the questions I had. Offering suggestions and making us feel so incredibly welcome into her home. If I could give Wendy and her home 10 stars I would. But Airbnb only lets you give 5! Would highly recommend! You’d love it! Rent a car if you do come and stay so you can get around town. Will be back soon for sure!

What a wonderful home, located on a beautiful stretch of beach. The house was perfect for six adults, with a large porch area to watch for whales and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beachfront location—just steps away from the sand with breathtaking ocean views from every room. Waking up to the sound of waves, enjoying coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise, and WHALES was pure magic. The attention to detail made our stay incredibly comfortable—plush beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and even thoughtful extras like beach towels, chairs, and a welcome basket with local treats! What also made this stay exceptional was the host. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, providing local recommendations, organizing a private chef, quick responses to any questions, and even accommodating a last-minute request with kindness and ease. If you're looking for a dream beachfront escape, this is it. We’re already planning our next trip back! Book it—you won’t regret it!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Per's house. I actually giggled doing the review of "did it live up to the description" because prior to our stay I chatted with Per and he totally downplayed how warm and comfortable their house is. You can really tell it's a loved family beach house. It isn't the ritzy/Instragramable/modern style that a lot of other houses in the area appear to be, it's more classic Mexican beach style. The home is comfortable - the beds were all super comfortable and all have their own bathroom. The layout is a little quirky but not in a bad way. All the amenities are there and easy to use. Hot water and water pressure were great. The beach is insanely beautiful - we walked, jogged, played, fished, whale watched - and it's easy to pop over to Cerritos either on foot (about 30 min beautiful walk/hike) or 5 min by car. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Very nice and perfect sized Casita with everything we needed. Great porch to sit out front and 4 minute walk to miles of almost private beach. Nice set of chairs, towels and blanket we could take to the beach. Sunset every night from the deck of the main house was great. We had a great week. Oh yea and we saw whales every day.

Great house. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, peaceful and felt just comfortable enough with furnishings. Plenty of beach towels and chairs and umbrellas. We had a few items we wanted and Megan was super responsive and helpful! It was a bit far to get to the beach with our young kids (under 5) since you have to go around some empty lots so we ended up driving to beach entrance, which is so easy and mellow here. if your kids are good walkers/hikers or older, it’s really not bad at all. Our kids are just young and it was hard for them. A wagon would work too if it had good wheels for sand. We’d recommend this and would stay again!

My family and I stayed at Corrine's home in Cerritos, Mexico for a week. There was plenty of space and 3 beds for 2 adults and our 2 kids ages 17 and 20. The two bathrooms was a big bonus. The home was clean, comfortable, and only a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet at night. Corrine was a fantastic host, very responsive, and had lots of helpful tips. We would be happy to stay at Corrine's place again, and would highly recommend Corrine and her home to other travelers.

Great condo with an amazing view. We stayed 9 days here and found it easy to get to condo and either drive or walk to where we wanted to go. We have been to Cerritos beach for many years but first time staying so high up. Make sure you have a car that’s reliable and can get up the dirt road hills. We typically drove down to the beach and sometimes the group divided and walked back up. Lots of great hiking and walking around the condo. Gym was nice and hot/pool area lovely. Pool was pretty cold but felt good during the day. Host was responsive to all questions and was flexible on check in and out.

If you are Cerritos bound, it doesn't get better than this condo! 2 words - THE VIEW. The deck is absolutely stunning, the condo was spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and a couple dinners at the condo (but venturing out for dinners was part of the fun in staying in Cerritos). The property was quiet and everyone we met was lovely - the gym is a bonus and also well put together and very clean, as well as the pool and hot tubs. HIGHLY recommend this unit.

We loved our stay at the Cove. The pool was perfect and the views can’t be beat. The use of the umbrella and chairs were a nice bonus.

Had a relaxing, wonderful stay here! Loved the peaceful sound of the ocean waves, whale-viewing (in mid-Jan., they were spouting, breaching and tail-flapping constantly, and provided so much excitement), amazing sunset views, comfortable linens/pillows on the beds, layout/roominess of the apartment (huge bathrooms + closets, tall ceilings, bedroom suites on opposite sides of the living room, full bathroom in living area), proximity to the beach (listing says 4 mins. but I’d say 1.5 mins. max), spacious washer/dryer, huge TV in living room, beach chairs/umbrella/towels in closet for use. Would recommend if you are looking for a calm, family-friendly beach stay! Cons: hot water is exhausted in showers quickly so showers had to be short and the temperature wasn’t well-regulated/it got scaldingly hot. Living room could’ve used curtains for the bright afternoon sun. Not the condo’s issue, but the big pool was not heated and was freezing/unswimmable. Nobody was in it the week+ of our stay.

I stayed in the upstairs and a friend stayed in the downstairs. The downstairs unit is more accessible to the beach and has lots of wonderful furniture for group gatherings. The patio out there is a great place to hang out no matter what the weather is. We had some very windy days and we were comfortable to sit out there most of the time

The apartment at Cove has wonderful oceanfront views. The rooms are comfortable with tasteful décor. Enjoyed the outdoor amenities and the great views of whales, priceless. Our stay was wonderful as well as our host, thank you!
