As a family - this was certainly well suited. Very clean and had all the essentials we needed. Just wonderful and very understanding. The kitchen was great. Sue and Tor also had opened the windows for us to allow airflow as it was warm when we arrived. Will definitely stay again.😊

Pamela was absolutely lovely, and her house was immaculate, comfortable, and in a beautiful position overlooking the marina. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well equipped and immaculate, and the garden was an absolute joy for sitting in. We would highly recommend Pamela’s house; it is easily the loveliest of all the places we have stayed on our trip to NZ.

The unit was very comfortable with all the things needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, close to everything without being noisy. Local recommendations were appreciated.

Thanks Jo for a wonderful stay. Our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. It is a short walk into town and behind the property is a path that winds along the river. Jo’s communication was on point! Any questions we had were answered in minutes!

I stayed here for Ironman New Zealand and it was everything I needed and more! Amazing place with very modern furnishings and space. Big backyard with only a 6 minute drive to town centre. Very quiet little neighbourhood with a Woolworth’s supermarket only a 10-15 minute walk or 4 minute drive. Fantastic place.

Loved our stay. Felt very safe & secure being that it is tucked away from street view with electronic coded door lock. Loads of restaurants deliver. Quick drive into town without having to take the ‘main strip’. Was simply brilliant & loved the special Christmas touches that made it feel very much like home.

Lovely large house on a well fenced section. Spacious comfortable open plan lounge, kitchen, dinning opening onto a great outdoor BBQ area. Beds were very comfortable with good linen, bathrooms were clean and tidy with lovely soap provided. Kitchen was well appointed with all that we needed. The views from lounge were fantastic only drawback was the 1km hill climb back to the house each time we walked down to the lake!!

This house was perfect for our family group of 9 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals, and it was great having two full bathrooms. The fire and some heaters kept us warm at night.

Perfect place for our family of 5 short stay. Very tidy and neat home. The kids love the treats that the host left. Close to the town centre but far enough away to enjoy the surrounds. Definitely will be back. Host Greta was very responsive and had clear instructions.

Great location with a beautiful view. In such a nice little town and we had lots of fun at the late. Great for the whole family!

This was the best Air BnB stay my family has experienced. Caroline was an excellent host and went above and beyond with making us all feel welcomed including my dog. We will be returning to Kowhai Cottage in the near future.
