昌子さん and staff were amazing! they took good care of my vegan diet and we were able to communicate via Line at all times. The place is beautiful, the onsen peaceful, and the surroundings are just something else. I totally recommend and would come again if I ever want to ski or trekking in Japan

Amazing hostel! Amenities were generally very clean and accessible. Beds were very comfortable. Close to many forms of transport.

I ended up wanting to spend more time at the hostel. A lot of interesting notes in interesting places 🤣

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

HostelOGK is a great place to stay, conveniently located near Osaka Station. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two suitcases, and the common areas were well-maintained. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers available across the floors, and we never had any issues with the internet. Since we were working remotely, the stable Wi-Fi and surprisingly good working area were a big plus. They also offered free instant coffee and tea, and an affordable laundromat was available on-site. Towels came with a small fee, which was totally fine. Nearby, there were two 7-Elevens, a cozy café called Pause just around the corner, and a great lunch spot with vegan and vegetarian options called Mealthy. The kitchen was well-equipped for heating up or cooking food. Everyone working there was very polite and welcoming—we had a great stay and would happily return!

This place is very spacious and great for two people visiting Kyoto. It is right by the station, about a 5 minute walk. However, to get into the town/shops, it is about a 35 min walk. There are multiple bathrooms and showers which were clean. We were not waiting around for them to become available. We didn’t use the kitchen space but it looked like it had the basic amenities and also looked clean. The host was super responsive and friendly. They also let us store our bags while we explored the city after check out. The room itself is very basic. There is a desk but isn’t a mirror which would have been nice. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Kyoto.

Very nice hostel, in a good location close to the center of Kanazawa. You can pretty much go to any place of interest inside the city from here by foot. Everything was clean, and the staff were very kind and were of great help whenever needed. For example, WiFi was very bad at first, but because we were here for a long stay and needed to work and such, they made sure to fix it for us. Only bad thing about this hostel is, there is no isolation whatsoever. It was always cold in the bathroom/corridor where we brushed our teeth and went to the showers, and you could hear people talking in nearby bedrooms and walking in the corridor. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we recommend it!

Emiko et sa famille sont adorables, bienveillants, à l’écoute, plein de bons conseils et astuces. La chambre est bien agencée et tout confort. Ce fut un réel plaisir de résider chez eux.

房间很小但很舒适。卫生间和洗浴是共用的，适合单人背包客。两位店员都非常好。交通也很方便，旁边有两个车站（动物园前和新今宫），机场可以直达。

房子很漂亮，距离车站大约19分钟。房东建议日落前到达是有原因的，这里没有路灯。非常抱歉晚上让房东白跑了一趟没有接到我，感受到了善意。有大大的泡澡池，可以放松。厨房有三个大冰箱，很棒！

A clean and comfortable place to stay. Even when fully booked, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers was very well maintained. I had great interactions both in the common lounge and at the bar on the first floor. Chihiro was very friendly and even helped carry my heavy luggage to the room on the first day. Although there was an issue with the water heater on one of the days, Chihiro kindly provided tickets to a nearby sento (public bath), giving me a chance to experience a sento for the first time! She also offered the option to use the bathroom at her home—truly kind and thoughtful. The value for money is excellent, and the location is very convenient. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely consider staying here once more.

A lovely, modern accommodation conveniently located near the station, with plenty of fantastic dining options just steps away. Moto is an exceptional host—warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He went out of his way to recommend some amazing local attractions, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The space itself felt cozy and welcoming, making it easy to feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here!

La stanza corrispondeva alla descrizione/foto perfettamente, mi sono trovata veramente bene. Ricca di servizi, gli spazi erano ben curati e puliti e ti facevano sentire a casa. Posizione strategica per visitare Nara perché comoda a piedi dalle maggiori attrazioni e dalla stazione mantenendo però una posizione riparata e tranquilla distante da confusioni e vocii turistici. Eccellente servizio colazione. Personale accogliente e gentile. Ci tornerei senz'altro in futuro!

Staff were always friendly and hard workers who helped with any queries. Loads of arty things by community as well as Kanayo both inside and the garden out the back. Good place to leave unwanted clothing and/or buy secondhand clothing at a very reasonable price. A lot is given back to the local community. Strongly recommend staying here. Thanks so much for the great stay. Hope to return again when travelling to Kyoto next time. Diane

Nice place to stay, close to the station, but I recommend not having too much luggage, tgeres not much space in the hotel. Very clean, and the kitchen was pretty useful :)
