We had a great stay at Mt Fuji Castle 2. The view to Mt Fuji was spectacular. David kindly checked us in and showed us around the place. It was very comfortable and roomy enough for our family of 4. We even saw deer near the property. The road up was really steep. Our 2wd car made it up but only just. Thanks for having us!

Our family stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the interior decorations, as well as the spacious kitchen and cozy living room. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. A nice bonus is the two complimentary bicycles provided at the house. If you need more, you can easily rent them nearby using the Hellocycling app. There’s also a supermarket within a short distance, making everything very convenient. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again! ⭐️

We had some very nice days at Enkuu’s house. It is located a bit off the beaten track, but close to a road, so access was easy. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets a 10 min drive away. The house itself is spacious, with the upper floor featuring two simple and beautiful adjacent tatami bedrooms. Downstairs there is another Tatami mat room with a low tea table and great views, where we spent most of our meal times and hung out. There is another room with arm chairs that we didn’t use much, and a kitchen with a table. The style of the house is a mix of simple Japanese æstetic (tatami rooms) and some more eclectic retro vibes, as it is his family’s actual summer house. The terrace has great mountain views, as do the upstairs rooms. There is also a charming garden with a shrine. We enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and had a very nice day trip to do the Magome-Tsumago hike. Enkuu was very friendly and gave us some tips for the neighborhood.

Clean room recently rebuilt, extremely helpful host, easy to go by car. The parking space is in front of the house on the right of the listing's address. Two great washing machines, to use them better coordinate with the host. Walls are a bit thin, and as hinted in the listing there might be a dog in the adjacent room. 1 lofted bed, and 1 bunk bed, comfortable room space for 3 adults. Overall a great base to explore the attractions around the city.

Recommended with all reservations, an extremely good spot that offers moments close to nature, with excellent services, cleanliness, public transport access, Ayako is an expert person and offers every information he needs, I would recommend it to everyone, (walking, river, canoeing, coffee, restaurants, nature, cycling)🚴 🛶
