Slopeside was amazing - thankyou very much for having us Lianne and her team! The view from upstairs is overlooking the ski runs and ski lifts and is magical - opening the curtains is a great way to start the morning and motivate you to get out there and start doing runs! Slopeside is attached to Togari Inn which was great, as we were able to use all of the inn's amneties. Some key highlights for us: - The view! - Plenty of space! - Shuttle to pick us up from / drop us off at Togari-Nozawaonsen Station train station - A ski rental shop located within Togari Inn which made it easy to get boots and skis fitted and collect - Clean and well equipped kitchen which was great as we cooked often - Hot baths in Togari Inn which is great to relax after a day on the slopes Would definitely stay at Slopeside again should we come back to Togari Onsen - thankyou so much for having us Lianne!

This was the best airbnb I have ever booked in Japan. Everything was exactly as it was shown on airbnb app and location was superb. Just a short walk from Nagano station. Mr. Greg and Yamaguchi-san were very hospitable and I am very thankful they answered the call from JR office when I lost my phone at the shinkansen (JR office asked for the number of my airbnb because I didn't have a Japanese number). The place is very spacious and heater worked well. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Nagano in the future. Restaurants and convenience stores were very near and the place was very easy to find. Clear instructions were given on how to access the room. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

We had a great time during our stay, it felt like home and cozy. The place is as described, the host and hostess are nice and friendly, as well as their poodle pet Prince :) Driving is necessary to access this place, but the surroundings are convenient, Aeon is like 10 minutes away and there’s good restaurants close by. We will definitely come back!

Leo & Linda we a delight to host us! Very responsive and flexible with checkin. We ourselves stayed to snowboard and the room was a 10min walk to the main gondola and Leo hooked us up with some lift passes every morning! Room was a traditional Japanese tatami matt, which was an experience in itself. Thankyou Leo & Linda!

An awesome stay here at Mark and Yoshikos place. A great location in town, new and clean facilities! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would recommend.

It was a very nice stay. I was there for the Fuji Rock Festival, and I also got to meet some local people here, they were super kind. The stay was nice and the amenities were very comfortable. ✧✧Thanks!✧✧

love this place as it's right on the slope for skiing. lovely family run hotel with a lot of friendly guests who had long term relationship with the host. you can tell that the host are really nice and organized events such as mochi making and tasting while I was there. highly recommend for ski in ski out experience and nice combination with cultural experience as well. oh, not to forget, the dinner prepared were really delicious!

Great, comfortable stay! Rooms and shared areas were clean. Beds /floor mattresses were comfortable. Staff was helpful upon check in. Would recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back
