I can’t say enough about Alux. We loved the pictures but still didn’t think the unit would be so large. Just off the “sidewalk”, we were right in the hub of Placencia, which is busy by Belize standards but very peaceful by 8 or 9pm at night. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and kitchen was huge. Our 7 yr old caught 3 different types of snapper (red, grey, yellow tail), so we used the gas grill, which was conveniently hooked up to central gas. One week was not enough to explore placencia or this amazing pinnesula, but we will be back to stay again. Thanks Judy for thinking of everything, down to the loofa, make up removing pads, and custom made soap!

The three-bed apt on floor 2 of Marisol Villa is roomy and has great outdoor space -- both the veranda which we used constantly and the pool area. Comfortable choice just 1/2 block from the beach.

We stayed in the entire house, which was spacious with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-equipped, but no staples (spices, oil, coffee, etc.) were provided. Washers and dryers are available, but you’ll need your own laundry soap. There’s a cash-only bar next door with great food, and while the property is near the water, it’s not beachfront. The neighbor kindly allowed us to use the sand in front of his property, and a nearby resort, 200 metres to the right, permitted beach access as well. The house, pool, and yard were very clean, with secure parking. Loved watching the kids play next door, Placencia, just 10–15 minutes away, has great beaches and restaurants. Despite minor surprises, we enjoyed our stay and would rebook!

We booked this accommodation for the week that our adult children & spouses were with us & it was absolutely perfect. Each couple had their own space & we shared the common area. Waking up to the sea & palm trees was a highlight & all the staff were WONDERFUL!!

The condo was spacious and nicely furnished in a beautiful location. Our hostess Zun was very helpful arranging golf cart rental for us and assisting with any questions and needs. A+

Our stay was exceptional! The condo had an ocean view, felt private, had everything we needed to cook a few meals, the restaurant had delicious meals, groceries were close by, staff was responsive, on-site staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well kept, the grounds were immaculate.

Perfect place to stay on Placencia! The view from the rooms is spectacular. The apartment has everything you need and then some, we could have easily spent a week there. We loved sitting on the hammock and listening to the sound of the ocean. Parking was easy, Ohana is well kept, and the sidewalk makes it easy to walk the whole island.

Had great communication leading up to and during our visit. I had even lost our keys to the place somewhere while visiting downtown and they drove out to unlock the door for us quickly and were very understanding. Even though there were supposedly other guests, we didn’t really see anyone except Ian, one of the property caretakers. Ian was a lot of fun to talk with and was quick to offer any help needed or to climb up, grab some coconuts, and open them for my wife and I. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it doesn’t come with things like coffee. There was a coffee pot and a mini fridge though. It was probably mentioned somewhere, I just didn’t recall seeing it. Not a big deal as the store is 2 minutes away.

Our group really enjoyed our visit to Placencia. Jessie was very helpful and gave great recommendations. The unit was a great size for our crew and so close to all of the fun Placencia has to offer.

Nicolle's place was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the balcony and taking in the view of the beautiful Caribbean. The place was spacious and clean. We enjoy cooking and found the kitchen well equipped. The property is very well managed and was kept tidy and welcoming. Nicolle was super responsive and even reached out ahead of our stay to arrange taxi service for us. She also offered wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. We certainly hope to return soon and would love to stay here again. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful visit!

We stayed at Judy's on 7-8 Feb 2025 to go to the Placencia Sidewalk Art Festival. We couldn't have gotten closer and were very lucky. The room was as described, exceptionally clean and well appointed. A staff member was onsite and on top of every detail--very attentive and responsive. Parking: If driving, parking is on a nearby street next to the soccer (football) field, the green spot on Google Maps, and a short walk down a path. Highly recommended if you can catch an opening.

Loved our stay at Lazy Palms. Right on the beach and conveniently located to many restaurants, grocery stores, and tour agencies. Very nicely furnished, including comfortable chairs on the deck.Nicolle was quick to respond and very helpful with a few questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Truly amazing location with everything located within walking distance yet just far enough off the road (50’) to feel like you were in a garden. Super cute and comfortable!! We have already sent this listing to a couple of our friends that are planning a trip to Placencia.

This is our 3rd year staying at Alux and will no doubt return. The property is beautiful and the apartments are spotless clean and comfortable. I usually have to work a bit while we're there and the wifi is reliable and good quality (great for longer stays if you're a remote worker!). The location is the best in the village if you ask me. Many of the best restaurants in town are walking distance and the beach is a 2 second walk away. Parking has never been a problem even if we do take the car somewhere. I highly recommend staying here, feels like home and will make your trip the best it can be.

Tranquility Beach Suite was simply fantastic! The sea shore was so beautiful to walk along, glad I took a friend with me, there are some stray dogs along while walking but friendly! Our Host was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions! There’s always someone cleaning up outside & their pool was just splendid! Definitely staying again on another trio to Placencia! The restaurant at the side that’s a stone throw away was also great! Belizean food and something for the kids too! Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next stay! 🙂

Our stay was great the host was responsive. The home is farther north on the peninsula which I knew and liked. If you like to travel inland this is a great location, it saves you many bumps and time. I will say with the store closing in Maya Beach currently you have to go to Seine Bight or Santa Cruz to find a grocery store. Hopefully the Maya Beach store will reopen soon. I would definitely stay here again. The beach was nice and great for swimming you can wade very far out, we also used the kayaks. The neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet area. We stayed in one of the two lower suites and my only complaint is that the noise from the chairs above being scooted across the floor is horrible. They need a pad placed on the legs. We had a family of 8 staying above us 6 of the days and there was lots of noise from the chairs being moved around. It is a very loud screeching sound. Other than that we had no complaints. We look forward to staying gain.

Great experience staying here. This is in a perfect location near the main village and we were able to walk everywhere. Perfect unit with the beach right up front. Joyce checked us in and helped us with a bunch of requests and was fantastic. Will absolutely stay here again.

My family absolutely loved our stay in Placencia at Phil and Megan's. The moment we arrived Phil met us and took us up and showed us their home. IT was truly beautiful, we loved the bathrooms! The air units were wonderful and the pool was a refreshing way to end a busy day. Lovely location, just minutes from the beautiful beach, tours, and restaurants. We have a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Once again our stay at KhalKob’s was excellent. The young lady, Tyra, who looks after the office is an absolute gem. Coffee shops, restaurants & our favourite. . . The Barefoot are all within walking distance. And you’re on the beach within 2 minutes!

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

Phil and Megan were great! If we needed anything or had any questions they were there! It was a great location, close to the beach, store across the street for shopping, restaurants within a short walking distance! Captain Jak’s was right next door and their boat was very close so that we could walk to and see stingrays, see the fish, along with visiting with guides!!

Our family of four had the perfect stay at the Moonflower. It was just as described. Clean, spacious and with a truly unbelievable view of the Caribbean. Easy to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. The host was very accommodating when we arrived unexpectedly early. Hammocks in the yard, plenty of space for kids to play. Felt safe and relaxed. Highly recommend!
