Wonderful location with fantastic view, spacious and well equipped facilities. We were a family of 4 and had an excellent and relaxing vacation. The administrators (Aaron and Brittany) were friendly and very helpful with everything we needed during the he course of our stay. Aaron even had an excellent selection of surfboards @lunanegra.

Brittany was so kind and helpful. The cabin was perfect, with a screen door to keep out bugs. We left the doors open the entire stay, the sounds of the ocean and the various life outside was so peaceful. The entire community is so wonderful, I felt right at home. Would recommend to anyone I knew traveling to Panama!

Irina und pierre sind wunderbare Gastgeber, das Gelände ist genau so wie beschrieben. Wir wurden von Pierre am Anlegesteg bereits erwartet und mit dem Boot zur Insel gebracht. Ein herzlicher Empfang und ein Rundgang folgt. Wer die Ruhe sucht, keinen materiellen Luxus zum entspannen und das Meer und den urbanen Lebensstil mag, der wird es lieben. Überall gibt es Möglichkeiten zu entspannen, ich habe einen ganzen Tag in einer Hängematte mit einem Buch verbracht, mein Freund war mit einem Kajak zum Angeln unterwegs und sehr erfolgreich. Selbstversorgung ist schwierig, da es keine Kühlmöglichkeiten gibt, aber Irina ist eine unglaublich tolle Köchin und auf Wunsch wird man voll versorgt, so wie wir. Achtung, Strom ist nur bedingt vorhanden, also raten wir euch eine Taschenlampe und eine volle powerbank mitzubringen, aber ansonsten wird es euch an nicht fehlen. Wir waren und sind total verliebt in diesen Ort.

David is the host of all hosts! Welcoming and friendly with good stories and recommendations and was kindly towards our 3 lively kids. The pool is a great feature and we found ourselves there morning, noon, and night. Good fun all around. David helped set us up with wonderful horseback riding and a fishing excursion. Thank you and we hope to return in the future.

The Ocean Studio completely lived up to its billing! A lovely, comfortable A-frame studio space right off the beach, with huge ocean-side windows and the ability to lie in bed and watch the waves roll onto the black sand beach right in front of you. Talk about a place to decompress and just be. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some of our own meals (there's a great grocery store just up the road from the house), and the outside (but covered) tropical shower was strong and had plenty of hot water. We spent three memorable nights in the studio and it was our base for daily ventures out to explore the beautiful and rugged beach landscape where the jungle meets the sea. A beautiful spot.

We loved this tiny house on the beach! The space felt private, safe, and as described it is just steps from a mostly private beach, and yet hidden in a tropical garden. We slept like babies, the bed was comfortable and the sound of the ocean lulled me to sleep every night. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, and utensils. We brought plenty of groceries that we purchased in Chitre, but there were also several good restaurants along the beach. Katja's co-host, Branden, was very proactive in helping us find our way through Panama to this little hidden gem, in recommending small tours, and was helpful when we had problems with our rental car (thank you, Branden!). I hope we can come back someday!

Not even sure I want to leave a review because our stay was such a pleasure, and i don't want this place to get too busy lol. Loooved Elena, Agustin and their lovely daughter Lena, it felt like visiting family, and they treated us as such! They are amazing souls! We are so grateful for this unforgettable stay in these incredibly beautiful surroundings, and their relaxing, comfy, contemporary and impeccably clean oasis they created! Truly a little paradise, and such peaceful and loving vibes!

We vonden het fantastisch! De gedeelde keuken was gezellig met een bar waar je aan kon zitten, terwijl anderen aan het koken waren. La Chantin is een sociale ruime plek met alsnog veel privacy! Goeie tip: er komt op maandag en vrijdag een bus (vraag de host hoe laat) met groente en fruit (handig, want wij hadden geen huurauto).
