How is this a real place! Absolutely beautiful as soon as you hit the gate. Stayed here for a wedding at Crows Nest and all of us agreed we would stay here again. I put up a few photos on my socials and had several people ask where we were staying, it looked that enticing! Thank you Julie for opening up your beautiful home.

I booked Lavender to protect my elderly (81 & 91) parents from cyclone Alfred. Dina and Alfio were lovely & kindly allowed us to check in early. The house is cosy & gives a sense of staying with family (The TV broke down on day 2 & Alfio provided a spare which was much appreciated by dad!) On day 2 we booked 2 extra nights because the cyclone was slowing & intensifying, but things changed dramatically overnight & flooding became the greater risk. Dad had also slipped and fallen in the bathroom & needed his doctor so we had no choice but to check out as per our original plan. As is their right, our hosts kept the money for the unused nights but, given the rather exceptional circumstances, I told 2 friends who own Airbnbs and they were both shocked. One said she’d have refunded. The other said if the reason for a last minute cancellation is understandable she always offers the nights to use another time for the price of cleaning, but that’s life. I still highly recommend

My mom and I had a wonderful stay here. The house is so cozy and has everything you need. Jeff and Ange were very helpful, proactive and easy to contact. The place really felt like home and we would love to stay again.

Emma was very helpful and friendly, super easy to communicate with. The house is very cosy, clean and had everything we needed and more. We stayed with our daughters and it was so nice to find toys and so many books available. The backyard is amazing as well. The road is busy and can be noisy at times, but the fenced backyard is a peace of mind if you are travelling with young children.

The house is newly renovated and is beautifully laid out with luxury linens and soaps etc. We loved our stay here with our three teenage kids. Everyone had their own space when needed and a huge couch and dining/kitchen so we could all hang out together as well. We've tried a few houses around TGS now but this is our favourite so far. Thanks Kylie, we will be back for sure!

It’s a fantastic place to stay—peaceful, surrounded by pristine nature, and truly serene. The property was spotless, and the hosts were wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. It had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the expansive lawn, perfect for stargazing. On a clear night, you might be lucky enough to witness a breathtaking view of the stars. A big thank you to Paula and Alwyn for the exceptional hospitality. 10/10—highly recommended!

Had an amazing stay at Jarrod and Julie’s property. The space was beautiful and had everything you would need for a peaceful stay in Toowoomba. The washing machine and dryer took I bit of fiddling for me to figure out how they work and the front door is a bit stiff, but Jarrod and Julie had amazing communication and I had no problems. Would gladly stay again!

Apartment is in a good location close to Gabbinbar Homestead. We stayed for a wedding and it met our needs.

Lovely modern little place in a quiet location within walking distance to shops. The host has made it feel homily and provided essentials to make us welcome. I would 100% stay here again next visit.
