This was the perfect location for our family getaway- super close to all the food on Mass street. It is in a historic area so it is stunning to see the other homes. Benjamin was very friendly and was super lovely.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. We were in town for several campus events and needed a place to sleep and recharge—this was exactly that. Great location and price. Would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a great Airbnb in a small town, great location host is awesome. The place is wonderful to stay and she has about everything that you could possibly need to make it a great stay.

Nicole was absolutely awesome. She was respectful and responsive. I had a couple issues with the property. The first issue i had was the location. Although it was across from the Base, I seen a lot of drug addicts around the area. I seen the same beat up cars circling the block or sitting in the parking lot talking to some of the people that appeared to be addicts. My second issue was the noise from upstairs. There was a lot of stomping and banging and screaming. My third issue was the couch. On the left side the back was loose which gave no support to my back. The toilet was loose but when I reported that, Nicole was quick to respond. All that said, I would stay again. I would give the host a 10/10 meanwhile I will give the property a 9/10 and location 4/10.

We loved our stay at the Black Thistle! Was so perfect for our family to stay in while visit family close by- would absolutely rent again when we come back!

We had a lovely stay in Lawrence here for my architecture school reunion. The loft was quiet and spacious with a well-appointed kitchen. The building was recently remodeled. We appreciated the north facing balcony, which stayed cool. On weekends, you may hear the revelry at Sandbar or Bottleneck, but we slept really well actually. The king bed was very comfortable. You are walking distance to all of Mass St and next door to the amazing summer Farmers Market! We were so happy to be there on opening weekend of the market, so we could pick up farm fresh eggs and products. Highly recommend Merchants for brunch and Ramen a block away. Street parking was easy to find. We will definitely return on next trip to KU. The Kansas maps and coasters were really cute.

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet! This upstairs apartment was perfect for a visit with my adult children to visit my daughter and nephew at KU. The location was perfect and so was the apartment. We were able to grill out and cook in breakfast Easter morning. Our hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming to us. We were encouraged to use the yard for our Easter egg hunt and grilling out. We will definitely try to book here for future visits. It was homey and comfortable. We felt like guests, not renters.

Kore’s place was exactly like the pics! We were right on Mass street in downtown Lawerence which made everything very accessible! Only thing I can say is that there are 25 stairs to get into the apartment (yes I counted) and if you have bad knees or accessibility needs this may not be the place for you. Other than that would recommend this place 100x’s over! Thank you!

My friend and I traveled to Kansas with 4 dogs for a dog competition and stayed at this lovely AirBnB. It was absolutely perfect! Staci was super responsive to messages, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was very quiet. After each day of competing with our dogs it was nice to come “home” to a cozy place to rest, relax, and recoup for the next day.

There’s no place like it. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the river and sometimes an eagle is so relaxing. And then the ability to walk downstairs for a burrito (on the weekends) or an ice tea or coffee with cinnamon roll is priceless. Thank you for hosting!

This was such a cute little place, we enjoyed our stay so much! It had lovely decor and was in a beautiful location perfect for walking to local coffee shop. This was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. It was so lovely!

Stay here!!! This condo was amazing. So clean, well decorated and Juli thought of all of the little things. It's the perfect location to all of the things on Mass St. and the BEST location for the farmer's market on Saturday AM! Juli was an incredible host. So responsive, detail oriented, flexible and so easy to work with. We can't wait to stay again!!!

This place is in the heart of Lawrence. It’s a perfect location to walk to all the hot spots of college attractions. The apartment was clean and felt newer. Many small amenities like coffee bar and snacks. Well worth the amount paid.

We came to Lawrence to visit our daughter. This place was perfect for lounging in the evenings- family game night, movies, time to catch up. The couch is a pull out, so plenty of space. Darling Farmer’s Market in the parking lot Sat. mornings. Great location! We plan on booking again!

This was a great place to stay for my husband & I. Amanda & Layla thought of everything! Very comfortable king size bed, well stocked kitchen, comfortable couch, nice island with comfy barstools, etc. walkable to all the fun restaurants & boutiques on Mass St. We loved it so much that we’ll be staying there again very soon!
