Great little place with everything you need and peaceful location

My friends and I stayed at Miranda’s lovely house to celebrate my Birthday, to say we didn’t want to leave come Sunday doesn’t do it justice! The views from every window of the cottage are just amazing, it was perfect for a relaxing weekend and we found some lovely walks nearby. It’s quiet and it’s beautiful, what more do you want? We will definitely be coming back!!

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We spent two nights at The Nest and wished it could be more. Very peaceful and so easy to get to. 20 mins from Lyme Regis meant our days were full of activities and the hot tub was used morning and evening! Well worth a visit; a lovely place.

Absoloute Hidden Gem, 300 year old cottage very homely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and lots of walks especially for our Jack russell Reggie who had an amazing time, cottage is absoloutley as described and exactly as the photos show, shame about the downstairs toilet being blocked but with two ensuites in the bedrooms this wasn't an issue, and Ceri and Daniel were very responsive to the issue, you do need to go careful coming down the stairs,as my husband found out on the first night 🤣 but some very lovely features with an added bonus of a hot tub which we made full use of,hosts very responsive and helpful would highly recommend to friends and family x

Great place to stay with beautiful walking close by in the Quantocks. Crowcombe is about a 15 minute drive away and a good starting place for plenty of hikes and a lovely pub. Perfect for a day out before relaxing back in the hot tub and enjoying the house. The place was clean, comfortable and Helen left out some delicious and thoughtful welcome gifts. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely, clean and well presented with lovely views. Comfortable bed and amazing hot tub. A great cozy getaway location. Linsey was a friendly and pleasant host, very responsive. Enjoyed all round!

Beautiful place to stay with fantastic amenities and views. As someone who lives and works in london, this was a much needed place to take a break and "get away from it all." Its so peaceful and lovely yet all the amenities to have all the fun for a fantastic group stay. Couldnt fault it in any way. Would love to come back!

Myself and my friends had a lovely stay at Fish Cottage. It was calm and cozy, the fireplace was the biggest highlight for us. It was a lovely surprise to have a welcome bottle of wine! If you're looking for peaceful, quiet, secluded and just wanting to nest down for a few days, this is the ideal place.

We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

This cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Kristina's directions were easy to follow, including any information within the cottage. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing break.

Lovely place in a great location to explore the area. The cottage was spotless and well appointed with everything you would need. My dad and I were there for a three day fishing trip and as a base it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, it was warm, cosy and comfortable with lots of interesting trinkets and items to enjoy. It would comfortably sleep four, so great for a family on a break. I'll definitely go there again next time we revisit the lakes. Perfect.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

Cosy cottage. Walking distance to the beach. Lovely welcome pack with even a treat for the fur baby. This was our 3rd visit and we’ll be back!

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

We used Simon’s property as a base for our hiking trip around exmoor. Everything was spotless and clean with a kitchen full of utensils. Bathroom is really nice and the hot tub is a really good size even with 4 adults. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return in the future.

Lovely roomy cottage with very comfortable beds and the added bonus of two en suites. Everything you might need for cooking/cleaning etc including clear instructions for operation.

We had a great stay at Nicola's in her lovely warm cottage which was very convenient for our family wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble, be it wood for the burner in the conservatory or more milk for our breakfasts and she made is a delicious loaf of bread and gave us freshly laid eggs from her hens. The location was peaceful and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

A cosy cottage, with delightful wonkiness. We made use of the log burner, as it was still chilly in February. A quiet location which was an easy walk into town (with a real kicker of a hill at the end though – I’m glad it wasn’t icy!). David’s Fish & Chips were great as recommended, and Albero’s in town did delicious Italian style seafood. I’d happily stay again.

Attractive and spacious character detached cottage located adjacent to owner's period farmhouse and buildings. The cottage has been very well equipped and all the fittings are in keeping with its character. Private parking immediately outside of the cottage. The log fire gives the cottage a very cosy feel on a chilly evening. Nancy is a great host and provides her guests with a welcome pack of food & drink which we appreciated. Access to the cottage is down a typical narrow Devonshire lane. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay & are very happy to recommend the cottage as a peaceful and relaxing place to stay whilst exploring East Devon.
