We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

We had an amazing 4night break at this lovely apartment. Dawn met us on arrival and took us to the apartment where she showed us around, it was everything that we expected & more. Thank you Dawn & Martin, we enjoyed looking around the surrounding areas too, would highly recommend this Airbnb.

A perfect ground floor apartment for a couple, so clean and comfortable. Perfect location as only a few minutes to the beach, local shop, pub, takeaways and bus stops. (We parked the car for a week.) Jo was a great host and so helpful.

Great place to stay for two, has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and town. Very clean and comfy furniture. Parking was never an issue. Only thing I would note is people live above but this did not disturb our sleep.

Lovely flat. Very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing view from picture window in living area. Close to town shops and excellent restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting Brixham.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment on Goodrington Beach! The location is perfect, with beautiful sea views and easy access to the beach. Parking was convenient, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were excellent, and the small touches—like milk in the fridge—made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Really lovely apartment that is walking distance to the beach and pubs. The apartment is super clean with everything you need. Becky is a lovely host who gave us loads of info for site seeing and local recommendations. If you want a quick break from it all, this is the place.

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs and as described.

This was our first Airbnb holiday. Comprising of two adults and two dogs, Ellie kept us informed from pre-holiday until the end of our holiday. The Airbnb was exactly as we had expected with the additional bonus of the house smelling fresher and cleaner than expected given that dogs are allowed. It is ideally placed for walking to the amenities of Paignton, Goodrington and Torquay if you love to walk, all of which would otherwise just be a very short car ride away. Exceeded all expectations, beautifully and tastefully decorated; loved the beach theme with the decor; the beds were extremely comfy and the linen clean and fresh. The home was extremely well equipped, and a very useful information book supplied. It was warm and had constant hot water and a super bathroom and shower. The property had been decorated with lovely Christmas decorations throughout and the added touches of milk, coffee, biscuits and a basket of dog supplies was a very pleasant surprise. The box of games was brilliant, and we made use of those. We visited The Old Manor Inn, both evenings as only a short walk away, and it is a lovely friendly pub. We stayed locally for walks with the dog and found plenty of good places to eat. Thank you so much for making our stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Stayed at the house for New Year with our family of 4 children aged between 4 and 15.. Perfect location, within walking distance to sea front and all local amenities. The house had everything we needed and catered for all ages! Stuart was very helpful from the moment we booked and was able to recommend things to do for New Year’s Eve! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Another great stay at Gull’s Cry. A beautiful area, even out of season. Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a well equipped kitchen.

This was the perfect place for our family get together to celebrate 2 '0' birthdays. Lovely spacious living/dining area. Very clean and tidy with an excellent kitchen. We had one very minor issue which was sorted very promptly by Georgina - thank you. Easy walk down to town but the walk back is steep if you have any mobility issues. Georgina had left gifts for the birthday girls which was very much appreciated - thank you. Parking not an issue if more than 2 cars in the group.

The views from the living room, kitchen and 3 of the bedrooms are beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. Mark is very quick to respond and if like me you are going to throw your tea over the bed at 7 in the morning he is the perfect host (he very quickly arrived with new bedding - thank you Mark). There's lots to do in the area with a special shout out to the Riverford Field Kitchen for a fantastic meal (30 mins drive) and if you're into hot tubs the views from this one are difficult to beat. Great for big groups and dogs. 10/10.

What a perfect little stay and beautiful accommodation. Perfect location and very close to beach. Central location not too far from anything. Such a lovely family and Evelin and her family made this a fabulous stay. Will 10000000% be making a return. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior design. Would recommend to all to come and sample this piece of heaven 👍🏼

Great apartment with a beautiful little garden overlooking the town. Lots of space for rainy days and evenings. Moira was very responsive and answered all my questions. Bonus to have a parking spot and very short walk into town, although steep but that wasn’t an issue for us. All in all a great place for our weekend away!

Friendly hosts, excellent welcoming accomodation, impressive shower. Location great for visiting family in local area, short drive down to Torquay or easy access back to dual carriage way for further travel to surrounding area. Close to Cockington village and park. Highly recommend.

Really lovely apartment in a great location, a very short walk to the seafront/harbour and town. Lots of extras like a welcome pack, toiletries, books, DVDs and parking permit (needed and very appreciated, we were able to park close by all weekend). Clean and tidy throughout. Host gives plenty of information and also contacted us to check in early once the apartment was ready, couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Super place , quiet location but just up from the main drag …

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant weekend away, property was immaculately clean and Rebecca added the extra touches by supplying a little welcome basket. We would definitely book again thank you.

Anchors Away is a beautiful, very cosy and very quiet apartment. Communication with Julie ahead of the booking was easy, and responses very quick. I had the pleasure of meeting both Julie and Chris during my stay - both very friendly and helpful. Julie was kind enough to show me around the apartment on arrival. The apartment is fantastic, extremely quiet, and at the same time only a short walk to the sea, beach, shops and food outlets. The apartment was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The walk in wardrobe in the bedroom is a touch of class, and plenty of hangers provided! I worked during the week, and the WiFi was more than good enough to handle video calls. I had dinner at the Drum Inn, a good 20 minute walk if your up for it. The food is delicious and the staff incredibly friendly - Josh is a superstar. I used Torbay Taxis (number in the folder) a lot during the week - some smashing folk work for them - very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Cristian. Would highly recommend!

LOVED our stay in Torquay. The pre information and check in instructions were excellent and everything was easy to follow. Really liked the apartment and the views from the balcony were so beautiful. We were lucky and had some beautiful sunny warm days, the sun loungers provided were a lovely addition on these days as the outside area is a real sun trap. We contacted the hosts a few times and they were super responsive. The apartment has everything you need in it and the thoughtful provision of milk and juice when we arrived was a very nice touch. The walk into the town has lots and lots of steps/hills, we took a taxi a few times which was reasonably priced.
