We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures do not do this place justice, as it is much bigger than the pictures show. The annex was very clean and spotless. Ian & Katka (Hosts) were very proactive, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile. The swimspa and hot tub are an absolute amazing feature of the property along with the balcony and views. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

Stayed for a few days with my partner. Really needed some down time and where better than the middle of Dartmoor! Coincided with some beautiful weather so we were happy to make use of the lovely hot tub. We enjoyed exploring, climbed a couple of tors, rested up...and discovered that the Plume of Feathers in Princetown does a very nice takeaway pizza. Hols was very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. A lovely break.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a bit of a risk to book this sort of accommodation in late Feb/ early March due to the outside temperature but we were pleasantly surprised but they stocked up well on logs for the fire and hot tub as well as the much needed electric blankets on the beds. I would recommend bringing layers though and slippers as the floor is cold and it takes a little time in the morning for the logs to heat the accommodation again.

Everything was perfect, great location, clean, great facilities and location.

We only searched for an apartment the day before our arrival. What a gem we found! The sea view was a real bonus and the surroundings beautiful. The apartment was well equipped and so quiet - we even had a sunny balcony. Within a few minutes walk we saw amazing views of Torbay and a lovely cafe at Meadfoot Beach. We will definitely return.

A great little place in retro style close to town centre. The features, fixtures and fittings brought back a lot of memories of life in 1970/80s Britain. Nice park with good amounts of wildlife across the road which leads into town and to the beach. It was nice to have a pet fish to care for and watch when you was in the kitchen. We’ll worth a stay.

Gorgeous little cottage and we felt really at home. Beds in the living room weren’t clear on the pics but we really enjoyed the stay anyway and it’s a lovely little place

Ideally located for what we needed. Pubs, restaurants and takeaways within a short walk. Well equipped and clean. Would try to stay again if we went back to Torquay.

Extremely kind and helpful hosts, very welcoming, with a lovely gift of food and drink on our arrival. Beautifully-appointed accommodation, with every conceivable amenity; one of the best AirBnB places we have ever experienced. Our little dog was very happy there too! Highly recommended.

Highly recommended, we had everything we needed and it was such a lovely peaceful spot where we could easily travel to local attractions. Would come back again.

Our holiday for the week consisted of my Mum and Dad, late 70s, my sister and our little boys (2yrs and 3yrs) and it was the perfect house for us. It accommodated to all of our needs - small garden for the boys, open space with lounge, dining and kitchen, ensuite for parents, etc. The handbook that Ben sent through the week before, explained everything and it is very thorough. With it being private gated you feel safe and from entering it very much feels like home. The house itself is well cared for and has beautiful homely features. We had a wonderful stay and lots of happy memories were made.

Staying in Alan’s caravan was like a home from home, my husband and son booked the place for a long stay due to work in Torquay and wanted a base rather than a hotel, they were not disappointed with their booking, with every amenity they could hope for on a peaceful park an lovely area. Alan was very accommodating, helpful and made our time there great! My daughter and I joined the boys during week 3 of the stay and the break was satisfying, good park with facilities, great location, lovely clean caravan and very refreshing. We will return as a family for future stays on more family themed getaways. Great communication, great price, great stay! Thank you Alan, the Sullivans

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

We had an amazing stay, the appartment was clean and has everything you need and more. perfect location and the pool was a massive bonus for us, we will be retuning in the Future, Glenda is a great host, very helpfull x

We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment was amazing, so welcoming, great decor and furnishings and was very clean and tidy. My daughter loved the pool. The apartment was in an ideal location and it was easy to walk to local places and see the gorgeous scenery. Dee left a very useful folder with lots of information, ideas for places to visit as well as local restaurants. We would love to visit again in the future.

We loved our stay in The Barn at Fingals. The whole place is truly unique and it feels like set in another world, which we entered as we started to drive down the very tiny lanes that got us to this place. The Barn was very comfortably furnished with big sofas, a baby grand piano and a rocking horse. The kitchen area was spacious and well equipped and sleeping was divine in generous sized beds with very comfortable mattresses. It was very quiet at night and this was so soothing and restorative. We also liked having the use of a sauna and the beautiful pool, as well as the games room. The surrounding gardens and other buildings are beautiful and the sound of the pool very soothing. Sheila and Richard were good and welcoming hosts .

We had a great stay in Richards apartment as a family of 3. Check in was easy with clear instructions and parking very handy. The location was excellent, walking distance to everything but not too noisy and very private/secure. The pool was an added bonus and also warm. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. The bath was useful for our toddler. Kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future should we return to Paignton. Richard communicated well and was very helpful. Thanks! ☺️

Eight of us stayed in Rose Cottage for a long weekend - four adults, four kids. Plenty of room, 5 bedrooms, great showers! Very comfortable, very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the linen was as new. The seating in the drawing rooms was also very comfortable, which is not always the case in my experience. Reception (Brad) were very welcoming and very helpful. A really, very nice atmosphere all round. Great views of the sea. The hill is very steep, great for stamina building. Wish we'd had longer, want to go back!!! Thank you Brad et al.

Absolutely pristine condition, so clean and beds were really comfortable. Easy check in and excellent value for money. Will definitely book again!!
