Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! Thank you Clare and Trevor!

Chelsea was very welcoming and accommodating! We spent a few days at Shanty Creek for a conference and went skiing at Schuss Mountain. Great location for both activities! Highly recommend staying here- Chelsea was a wonderful host!

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Fantastic option for Crystal Mountain Resort. Slept 4 adults and 8 kids comfortably. Shuttle service to and from CM lifts. House is in excellent condition. Kitchen had all amenities. Sarah is a great host.

This is—by FAR—our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in Up North. Our family loves it so much, we call it “our farm”! We’ve stayed here in the summer, but this is the first winter we’ve been since they put in a hot tub, and even though we thought it couldn’t get better, now we NEVER want to leave!!!! We planned this weekend with our best friends at the cottage next door so we could all do the winter things together—skiing at the Homestead, putting together a puzzle in front of the wood stove and wine tasting across the street at French Valley (literally, we just walked!!!) We are already thinking about our next stay—can’t wait to get back to the cottage as soon as we can.

This house was the perfect winter getaway! Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived, which was much appreciated. The sauna and hot tub were absolutely amazing and made our snowy weekend even more special. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The host was also fantastic, checking in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation!

Great place to share with our adult children and young grandchildren. The small private sandy beach was perfect for our toddler and his trucks. Availability of kayaks and water toys added to the comfort of spending an afternoon at the house. It was very well stocked for cooking and had plenty of counter space for prep and meals. Our host was responsive within minutes with any questions. Location is great to make a day trip to Mackinac Island and another toTraverse City and its peninsulas. Petoskey is ~20mins drive and is an adorable town on Lake Michigan with great restaurant and shopping options as well as a nice stone break wall for watching the sunset. Harbor Springs is just an additional 10mi with a small downtown and a line out the door for Tom’s Mom’s Cookies! Thanks for a memorable family vacation!

Beautiful lake home. Everything is very nice & comfortable. We enjoyed the getaway very much. Loved looking at the peaceful lake. The updates are very tastefully done. Looks like a lot of time invested into every detail. It’s well stocked-lots of games too. Restaurants, stores, ice cream all within 5 miles. Highly recommend for R&R on a big lake. Thank you!

Our stay at this cabin was phenomenal! With its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it perfectly accommodated our group's multiple families across various age groups. Not only was it a tremendous value, but its proximity to Traverse City made it an ideal choice for us. We were delighted by the cabin's cleanliness and the spacious, open layout. The endless supply of firewood was a blessing, especially during the unexpectedly chilly nights. Ryan was outstanding—responsive and helpful, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. This was our first visit to this area, and it surpassed our expectations. Although we typically kayak on the Oscoda River, we ventured to the Manistee River (just south of dam) this time and found it to be a much nicer trip. It’s safe to say that we’ve found our new summer kayaking destination. Overall amazing stay, would recommend!

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

We loved staying at Carl's. The pool table and hot tub are my kids favorite part.

The house was as described. Beautiful fenced in back yard for dogs to run around. Beautiful view of sunrise over tge water. Nice private beach with dock. Very open layout. We were there with 5 adults and three dogs. When we come back to Traverse City this would be the place I'd stat.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very spacious for our group of 5. We did struggle to find Ubers and Lyfts and taxis seem to book up quickly so we would suggest planning rides in advance. Other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better space and location for our trip! Annemarie is a great host and kept us informed and up to date throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

We came to enjoy some winter activities and had a great time. Charlevoix is a wonderful winter destination. Sometimes our winter trips result in it being difficult to find open attractions, but we had no trouble finding businesses nearby. Macie's place had everything we look for in a stay with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds (really liked the flannel sheets), and comfortable furniture to relax after a long day. It was much larger than our little group needed so we never used anything in the basement. The neighborhood is quiet, and it was great to be able to walk our dog on the streets without worrying about traffic.

We had a restful stay! The house is adorable Midcentury Modern with so much charm, thoughtful amenities and a cozy atmosphere that makes the house instantly feel like home. Spotlessly clean, lots of extra attention to the details of a family trip or wine weekend excursion. Great recommendations for food and wine lovers. We really enjoyed our stay. We’d love to come back and stay longer.

This was a perfect house for our family get away!

My family and I had the most incredible experience. The place was spotless and perfect for our big family with 5 children under 6. Plenty of space. Adorable rooftop. Didn't even have time to enjoy the jacuzzi but they were more than happy to help us out with that. They even had cute little toys/legos our children enjoyed as well. Both kitchens were fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need. Everything was so so so immaculate and clean, which truly matters when you have a bunch of children rolling around and crawling on floors. We also could not love this house more! Loni was super responsive to any questions I had. We had the best long weekend!

Very nice home! My family of 8 stayed for an extended weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. The home was just as shown in the pictures and the outside/location was very private and serene. It is close proximity to downtown TC and many activities. I would highly recommend!
