Fantastic accommodation for our needs. We were walking the SWCP and stranded by the ferry stopping. Keren picked us up and dropped us the following morning to our start point. Lovely welcome and spiced apple cake was a bonus! The accommodation was spotless with our own bathroom. We had a healthy breakfast with home made bread and preserves. Keren & Mal we’re incredibly supportive and helpful on our trek.

As ever Jan was a fantastic host. Lovely rooms with a great view and excellent breakfasts.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts make you feel right at home. Complimentary fresh juice, milk, home made cake, tea, coffee, biscuits and mini chocolate bars. The bedroom was ideal and there is a comfortable lounge that you can use as well. The breakfast was really tasty with a cooked option as well if you choose. I liked the fresh strawberries at breakfast a lot. There is an extensive garden full of interesting things in it that you can explore. I would love to stay here again if I am ever in the area.

Nogle dejlige rolige dage i et historisk interessant sted i landlige omgivelser. Princetown er et godt udgangspunkt for vandreture over heden. Det er muligt at spise aftensmad i Princetown, som ligger en km fra Tor Royal Farm. Hyggeligt at bo på en gård med køer, får og venlige hyrdehunde.

Wondeful place, a welcoming and kind host. My labrador was also very welcome and had a lovely time.

Newcourt Barn was so peaceful and cosy; set in a beautiful location with a sense of being deep in the countryside. Helen couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodg: offering me an early check-in before my goddaughter’s wedding and use of the Guest living room for a Zoom meeting after check-out the following day. My room was comfortable, clean and I immediately felt at home. I was sorry not to be staying longer! Breakfast….well, the awards are well earned. Delicious. I cannot recommend Helen’s place more strongly. It surpassed any expectations I had: I just wanted a nice spot to sleep after a wedding but I found a homely guest house I’d love to come back to for its own sake. Thank you, Helen.

Stunning views, amazingly comfy bed, the best breakfast the husband has ever had…….. extreme quality and the most wonderful hostess. We had a very warm welcome with a cup of tea. The place was very charming, bed comfortable and excellent breakfast. We can warmly recommend this place to others.

I had the most amazing few days at Julie's. Totnes and surroundings are beautiful and great cafes. Julie's place is so calming and pristine . The breakfast was delicious and the bed very comfortable. Julie also was very helpful with suggestions for places to go. Highly recommended!

Another lovely stay at Joella and James's place - everything was perfect as ever and I'd love to come back for future trips to Devon!! Joella offered me several lifts to and back from the surrounding area of Dartmoor which was so kind. Lovely breakfast as ever, quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Highly recommended!!!

This is a lovely place to stay. It’s in a very tranquil part of Dartington, but with easy access to Totnes either by car, bus or the cycle/walking path. I had very comfortable stay in Ruth and Bob’s flat and highly recommend this if you’re visiting the area.

We had a great stay at Rosalie’s. We stayed in the cat and the fiddle room. It was a large sized room and the shower was great. The grounds around the house were lovely and the views were amazing. Rosalie’s a lovely host and it was a great base for us to travel around and see South Devon.

Joanna is a very friendly & welcoming host. The guest bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very quiet room so had peaceful nights sleep. I was there to visit friends in the area, I’d stay again. Thanks Joanna!

We had a wonderful stay at Julie’s place. The house is steep in history and it was really interesting to hear about it ! Julie was very welcoming (including to our dog!) and we had an amazing breakfast, the day after a very long car journey, which was most welcome ! We’d happily come back to Julie’s house again! I honestly have one word to describe Rita and that is perfect. It was an amazing weekend away from work and responsibilities and Rita made us feel right at home. Not only was she always willing to help and carried a smile on her face but she helped us with recommendations on where to go for dinner and what to do during the day. Her hospitality could not have been better and we could not have had a better time there. We cannot wait to go back soon and do more things. It was the loveliest weekend thank you so much

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

I had a lovely weekend, Rebecca is extremely friendly and hospitable, also great fun! Gorgeous dogs 🐕 all in all I loved it and would highly recommend Rebecca's place. I shall be back! Thank you so much.

What a delightful old-fashioned B&B. Lovely, friendly hosts, comfortable room (it's old and quirky but that's clear when you book) and the cooked breakfast was simply delicious - made with care. You even get home-made marmalade and toast with your tea in china cups. The pond and ducks complete the scene. Thanks Rosemarie!

Our stay with Anne & Jonathan was perfect. They both made us feel very welcome and we loved exploring their farm. Anne is also a wonderful passionate cook, we were spoilt with her delicious home made food. Many fruits and veggies were grown on their land. The standard of the accommodation is also very high with a fine attention to detail and wonderful old furniture. The stay suited us perfectly and really look forward to staying again with them.
