Lovely apartment, in a perfect location in the heart of Salcombe. Given the weather was pretty terrible, we had a great long weekend in Salcombe - the apartment was both cosy and comfortable, but had plenty of space for us. Great facilities, comfortable beds and sofa, and beautiful views through the buildings across the estuary. Great comms from the hosts - would definitely stay again. Recommend the Winking Prawn for lunch and the Kings Arms for dinner. The Fortesque became our local for beers, decent wine and a pool table.

This was a great house, extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen and household items. Views of mariner were amazing. Bridget our host gave clear instructions and lots of recommendations. Plenty of room for all guests in the house and ample parking. Was walkable to local pubs, beach and ferries. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful place so close to town. It’s on a steep but short hill. Basically in the centre of Dartmouth - co op and m&s food a few minutes walk away + pubs/cafes/restaurants all there. The place was clean, views were beautiful. Without a doubt will be back in the summer. Thank you Helen. Decent size for a family of 4.

We were in a difficult situation when we found out an hour before we were meant to check into a different property that they had double booked it. Leanne quickly made the house available for us and was very responsive to questions. The property was very expensive however I was a great location and lovely and clean. Very thankful for Leanne’s quick turn around and saving us from having nowhere to go!

Lovely short stay with kids. Easy to walk to the beach, shops, soft play, boat trips etc etc. No issues at all, we were able to get on with enjoying the area. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Geoff answered a couple of small queries promptly. We would definitely stay again if it was available.

Astonishingly brilliant location overlooking Dartmouth and Kingswear. Shops, pubs and restaurants only a few minutes away, yet peaceful location with views both of the sea and up the estuary. Ideal for the walker, with the South West Coast Path running outside the front door towards Blackpool Sands, Torcross and (via the lower ferry) Brixham. Easy access to ferries, buses and (steam) trains for those travelling without a car. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved the house! The location was excellent being half way up the high street with a clear view of the sea and the secret stairway out the back of the kitchen up to the roof garden and fire pit was a real treat. The living room fire place was a delight and the wood fuel was very well stocked. The kitchen was a good size and very well lit with natural light thanks to the sky light. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. Thank you Freya for a fantastic stay!

I must start by saying that Claire's home is one of the few places that I have found in Devon that doesn't have that musty smell. My son has allergies so it's important to us and the place has been refurbished to a very high standard. Secondly thank you so much for the welcome box. It's such a lovely touch and so few places do this anymore, so I greatly appreciate the kind gesture. Thirdly, the house was lovely and warm when we entered which really made it feel so cosy and welcoming. And everything was so clean! It really is a beautiful house to stay in and deceptively large - there is lots of room, the kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of hot water in the shower room.

Another great stay at Stones Throw Cottage with my 2 young boys. Very nicely done, uncluttered and homely, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hot shower! Excellent location in a quiet road with the beach just a 5 mini walk away! Manor gardens is a lovely space 5 mins the other way and connects to a walkway to the other end of the beach which is away from the road too - comes out at the sensory garden next to the Pavillion theatre & cafe. Excellent communication with Deborah before and during stay. Highly recommend. Will return!

Such a fabulous location. Seaside chic - with comfy beds, a lovely welcome package and great water pressure for the showers, it definitely ticked all our boxes. Lucky enough to see the best of the British weather for al fresco dining too!

We loved staying here! Jennie was superb at communication, from her very clear instructions and recommendations to answering any queries. Jennie's place is warm, clean and a pleasure to stay in. It is very comfortable with EVERYTHING you need - it is very well thought out and beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The showers are hot and beds comfortable. The views from the property are lovely. The surrounding area is great to explore, with great places to eat and the short ferry to Plymouth is easy to catch. We wouldn't hestitate to stay here again and to recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay in Jonathan’s home. It was brief but we had fun being close to our family who live in the area. Kitchen was great. Big enough to service a family. If I were to return with my family and Jonathan would have us again I would definitely consider staying there again.

Maria’s place was perfect for our celebratory family holiday. Great living space that everyone can be in / eat in together but with the snug and large kitchen, plenty of space for people to hang out and not feel on top of each other! The views from the front of the property are even better than the photos and it’s a very short walk down to the high street and ferry point. Maria was an excellent host, very quick in responding and proactive with recommendations. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

This historic stay is beautifully redone, to the surprise and pride of local residents. It's centrally located so a short walk to hikes, parking, grocery, and dinners. The interior design work and crafted aesthetic is beautiful if only a little spooky with hand mannequins and taxidermy animals or statues with nails in. The rooms are split between 3-ish levels, and I found October weather in Moretonhampstead to be freezing despite the warnings, hahah! Parking was complicated for an out of country visitor, (just email and request an account for the app to work, or carry coins), but with the buses and local amenities it's easy to skip parking altogether. Good luck with the front door and draft windows, they look neat but they are a little catchy. The guidebook was detailed and good to follow, I'll miss the park and local knitting opportunities! Thank you again for the stay.

Cannot praise Alice’s home and hospitality more highly. The house is a hidden gem, very much near the town but in a quiet beautiful area with a car space! The house was spotless in every way with everything you could possibly want. It was warm, cosy inviting with the most beautiful courtyard secluded garden. Alice has thought of all the homily touches and even left chocolates, cookies and fruit. She went above and beyond to make our weekend in Exeter perfect. Would highly recommend we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Harbour View over the New Year. The property is well located close to the Barbican and the views from the sitting room and front bedroom are fantastic. The interior of the property is superbly presented and kitted out. We really liked the added touches, such as the Christmas decorations, mince pies and clotted cream and milk which greeted us on our arrival. The hosts were very responsive and flexible…..I would definitely recommend Harbour View.

Fantastic stay in Brixham, great property in a brilliant location with views over the harbour.

Church View Cottage is in a lovely spot. It’s in the centre of town but very peaceful. I stayed for a month and it felt like home. Everything was spotless, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is powerful and the bed is very comfortable. Neil and Marilyn are friendly and thoughtful hosts.

Wonderful weekend. The house is everything you could ask for. Walking distance for the town. Andrew explains the road is narrow and it is. But this didn’t bother us as it makes it very quiet. The house was perfect for our stay visiting our son for families day at the Royal Britannia Naval college. It was walking distance to the college. The house had everything you needed and was very clean and warm. Plenty of space for us all. Thank you for our stay. Just a shame it’s not available for his Passing Out Parade dates in August! 😢

We really enjoyed our stay here. We are regulars to Dartmouth and it is in a very handy location, centrally located, in the heart of the town. The place was lovely and quiet, apart from the night we arrived when there was a Halloween Party at the Anglers club next door which went on until Midnight, it was so loud it sounded like the speakers were in the house! Quite stressful when trying to get the kids to bed! However, apart from that we really enjoyed our stay here and the house had everything that we needed.

What a wonderful property to stay in. Paul had appointed the house with everything we could possibly need and he was wonderfully helpful at every stage. We loved staying there and wish we could have stayed longer but it was a brief-ish visit for a family funeral. I highly recommend this lovely house as everything was stylish and perfect!!!

Philippa's was a fantastic host so helpful whenever we needed her to be, and was also very flexible. The property was amazing just like the pictures thank you again for helping especially with the last minutes amendments etc.. I would highly recommend this property for your stay!
